Very comfortable, compact, and well-equipped with all amenities. The bed and pillows were excellent for sleeping. The front desk staff had a fantastic attitude. Breakfast was decent for the price. The gym was good and not crowded. The laundry room was spacious, but I didn't use it, haha. Overall, it was quite comfortable, and the decor gave a great impression. It's very close to the subway station, just downstairs behind the building. Plus, it's easy to order takeout from nearby places. A nice touch was the complimentary Sprite and sugar-free soda in the mini-fridge.

Great value for money and convenient location, very satisfied. The room is equipped with a fresh air system, plus a complimentary coffee machine and ice maker. The room is exceptionally clean, and the bathroom features a wet-dry separation design. The front desk staff are very welcoming and provide attentive service.

As a five-star hotel, it absolutely delivered on luxury, making for an excellent experience. I have to praise the location – it's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. You can walk to Metro Lines 1 and 10, so getting around is a breeze. Step out of the hotel and turn left, and within 50 meters, you're at a mall with so many shopping and dining options you'll be spoiled for choice. All your retail and food cravings are easily met! The room was an even bigger surprise. It was exceptionally spacious, bright, and well-lit. The floor-to-ceiling window offered an amazing view, and it was incredibly comfortable just lying there and enjoying the scenery. The facilities were comprehensive, and the pillows and mattress were perfectly comfortable – I slept like a baby, straight through till morning. It was incredibly refreshing. Breakfast also deserves a mention. There was a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options, so many choices that I was satisfied every morning. The staff were consistently warm and polite, always thinking of the guests' needs. Their service was incredibly thoughtful, and I have to give them a big thumbs up! I had such a pleasant stay these past few days. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

I specifically came to the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing for a little healing getaway and to finally cross it off my bucket list—after all, it's been saved on my wishlist for five years. At this price point, MO really speaks for itself: seamless service procedures and a genuinely warm, effortless hospitality. I’d like to give a few specific shout-outs: At breakfast, I always prefer my Americano piping hot. Instead of lecturing me about how super-hot coffee ruins the flavor, the staff simply delivered it exactly as requested. It would have been even better if the cup had been pre-warmed! Also, to the lovely young lady who took my order (forgive me for not catching your name): you are so approachable and warm, please be more confident in yourself! I highly recommend booking an evening spa treatment during your stay; heading straight back to your room to sleep afterward is the ultimate recharge for both body and soul. Special thanks to therapist Minnie and spa receptionist Lawerence for their exceptional service. Even though I purchased my spa voucher via their official WeChat mini-program, they treated me with the utmost care and professionalism. To the front desk team and the duty manager—forgive me once again for forgetting your names—since we interacted the most, I truly appreciated how prompt and thoughtful your responses were. It completely avoided the common issue with domestic ”butler services” where style often trumps substance. A chat group was set up even before my arrival, and whether it was via text, phone, or in person, all my requests and questions, big or small, were handled promptly. What a lucky find to discover such a brand-new, high-quality courtyard hotel nestled right in the prime hutongs of Beijing's Second Ring Road! Siya Jasmine Courtyard Hotel has just opened, and the entire property is impeccably maintained. The charming, traditional Chinese courtyard infused with subtle jasmine scents creates a flawless blend of authentic old-Beijing vibes and relaxed luxury. The amenities easily rival those of high-end boutique hotels. The rooms feature smart controls so you can manage everything by voice commands. The bathroom has a smart three-piece layout with sparkling clean, brand-new fixtures, along with thoughtful touches like alcohol wipes and disposable toilet seat covers—an absolute dream for germaphobes. The room is spacious, the mattress and pillows offer just the right balance of comfort and support, and it was so quiet at night that you couldn't hear any traffic from the hutongs at all. The service offers a true butler-style experience. The staff are warm, gentle, and always ready to help. They even proactively upgraded our room and gave us great recommendations for local hutong eateries and sightseeing routes. The facilities are also top-notch, featuring a 24-hour self-service laundry room, a gym, and a tea room, making extended stays a breeze. The location couldn't be better. Tucked away in the Dongsi hutongs, it's just a short walk to Dongsi Subway Station, making it super easy to visit the Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and Lama Temple, with local hutong street food right outside the door. Staying in a traditional siheyuan—exploring historic imperial sites by day and sipping tea peacefully in the courtyard by night—is truly the most authentic way to experience Beijing. This place is definitely on my go-to list, and I'll be back on my next trip to Beijing!

Two years later, I'm back at the Cordis Beijing Capital Airport. It wasn't until I saw the airplane model in the lobby that it clicked: Donghai Airlines, The Langham Shenzhen, and Cordis Donghai are all under the same ownership. No wonder they share the same prefix! Of course, as a guest, the owner might not be the most important thing; it's the management company and their level of professionalism that truly matters. The Cordis brand ensures that the management and service here will never disappoint. It's the same friendly atmosphere, warm service, and exquisite food. I was particularly impressed by the staff I encountered in departments like the Front Office, Concierge, Ming Court, and The Place all-day dining restaurant. A special thank you to Front Office Manager Serena, Front Desk Manager Jessie, Duty Manager Lock, Assistant Director of F&B Tom, Ming Court Manager Terry, and The Place Restaurant Manager Anson, among others. Their dedication and guest-first approach truly made me feel the warmth and professionalism of Cordis. Cordis Donghai is definitely worth another visit!

Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. We have stayed in hotels all over the world but this one will always stand out for being that little bit different, for being so immaculate and for going the extra mile. ⭐ A Comfortable Stay with Beautiful Walking Paths and a Great Breakfast We had a really pleasant stay at the Crowne Plaza Beijing Tongzhou. Overall, the hotel is comfortable, spacious, and a nice choice if you want a relaxing stay away from the busiest parts of central Beijing. 🛏️ Comfortable Rooms & Great Beds One of the things we enjoyed most was the room. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep after a long day. Many of the rooms also have bathtubs, which is a really nice touch if you enjoy having a relaxing bath during your stay. The rooms felt spacious and comfortable, and overall the hotel has a pleasant, upscale atmosphere. 🥐 Breakfast Buffet Is Worth Trying I would definitely recommend the breakfast buffet. There was a good variety of food, making it easy to find something whether you prefer Chinese or Western-style breakfast. If breakfast is included with your stay, I would definitely take advantage of it. 🌳 Beautiful Surroundings for Walking Another highlight is the area around the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful paths and greenery, which makes it really enjoyable to go for a walk. It gives the hotel a peaceful and relaxing feeling, especially compared with staying in a busy city-center area. 🍽️ Restaurant Experience Needs Improvement Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel's restaurant was not nearly as good as our experience with the hotel and rooms. There were many empty tables, but the restaurant lights were not even fully turned on, which made the atmosphere feel strangely dark and unwelcoming. When we were seated, the table was still dirty and they only started cleaning it after we sat down. Another small but inconvenient detail was that we were given only one menu even though there were two of us. It would have been much more convenient to have two menus, especially when there were plenty of empty seats and tables available. ☕ Café: Very Disappointing Value The café was probably the biggest disappointment for us. An Americano costs around ¥38, which would be understandable if it were a larger or particularly special coffee, but the cup was extremely small. For ¥38, the portion felt far too small, and honestly, the price-to-value ratio was disappointing. This is definitely one area where I think the hotel could improve. ⭐ Overall Despite the issues with the restaurant and café, we still enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is comfortable, the beds are great, many rooms have bathtubs, the breakfast buffet is worth trying, and the beautiful walking paths around the property are a big plus. I would happily recommend the hotel for the accommodation itself, especially if you value a comfortable room and a peaceful environment. I just hope the restaurant service, cleanliness, lighting, and café pricing can be improved because these details don't really match the otherwise nice experience of the hotel.

The resort environment was very comfortable, and the kids absolutely loved participating in all the activities, having a great time. The atmosphere at night was quite lively too. Vera provided excellent service, and overall, I was very satisfied – a full five-star recommendation! What I loved most was that all the activities were included. Whether for adults or kids, indoors or outdoors, there were rackets provided by the hotel for basketball, table tennis, billiards, football, archery, and golf. The water park was quite large; the depth was perfect for children to swim, though a bit shallow for adults. Plus, all the craft activities, performances, flying trapeze, and aerobics were really fun! Dinner was the most abundant meal, with various international cuisines. The sashimi, BBQ, and salads were all delicious. The dessert bar was the most amazing part – truly five-star standard! My daughter even said the roasted lamb chops were incredibly tasty. 😋 We stayed in the Shaun the Sheep room, which was decorated so cutely. My child said she wants to come back again next time! The most comfortable aspect, actually, was the beautiful environment of the Songshan scenic area. It's a natural oxygen bar, bringing you close to nature; you can see and smell the natural aroma. There were also about a dozen adorable little cats! 😍 We plan to try out Club Meds in other cities and countries next time!

Before booking, I read the negative reviews, which were mostly complaints about the service. After staying, I felt like this hotel was one giant obedience test. Upon entering the room, I noticed a strong smell from the air conditioning ducts. I picked up the phone and dialed 'one touch.' The operator transferred me to the front desk, who said they would get back to me shortly. 'Shortly' meant I had to call again to get any kind of answer. After changing rooms, the next day my room card stopped working. That's when I understood why there was a phone in the hallway. After calling, they said an auntie would come to help open the door. Ten minutes later, the auntie finally arrived. After opening the door, she said a concierge would bring a new room card later. Well, it never arrived within two hours. Eventually, when I went to pick up my takeout, I had to go to the front desk myself to get a new one. The tissues in the room ran out. The auntie replaced them with new ones, but just left the new pack on top of the tissue box instead of putting them inside. I don't understand that. There was a short black hair in the bathtub... The mini-bar was completely empty on the first night, possibly due to the room change. At breakfast, I opened a Chinese steamed dim sum, and there was a black hair inside... Breakfast ended at 10:30 AM, and many guests came at 10:35 AM to get coffee, but it was all gone...
