Best Hotels in Beresford, Australia

Well located within walking distance to the beach and into the town centre. The apartments are well secured, requiring you to have an access key to access the property and to park your car. The grounds are beautifully kept with plenty of BBQ’s and seating area’s, nice big pool and hot tub. The apartments are well maintained, clean and functional. We had the studio, which had a king size bed, kitchenette with microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery & crockery, small fridge, sink and ample storage. Small dining table & two chairs. The studio had two comfortable seats, coffee table, television – however the seats were positioned a metre in front of the television set – I am not used to sitting so close in front of a television, so I found that a little odd. The room had a nook with bench space and a seat so it a nice space to type or write with good lighting. There was plenty of wardrobe space with loads of draws and hanging space and I like that it also had a small safe to lock away your valuables. The bathroom was large & spacious and very clean. Large shower with good water pressure and lovely toiletries which are Australian made. Nice fluffy towels and there was a washing machine/drier for you to use. Iron & ironing board. I loved everything about the Nesuto except I wish the windows had some net curtains for privacy. When you opened the curtains, the people walking on the street could look right into your room and see what you had and what you were doing, so it lacked a bit of privacy, but overall, it was a well appointed & clean apartment with everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. Thank you to Denise who checked us in, who was an absolute delight.

This hotel is the best value in Geraldton. Its located right on the ocean foreshore and very reasonably priced. Upon arriving we were greeted by the fantastic staff who were very quick to assist. I had a balcony room which was very comfortable. We had a car but as the was limited parking we parked on the street. No problems. A lovely touch was a free drink voucher in their bar. Whilst talking about drinks, this hotel has the cheapest mini bar prices I've ever seen. I was gob smacked to see Coronas and other beers for $6 each and cheap chocolate snacks in the room mini bar. We had breakfast here the next morning and apart from being decent serves, it was very tasty, as was the coffee. A great stay, but shame I wasn't staying longer.

We weren't expecting such a good hotel in a regional WA area. We had a great experience. Plenty of parking with lift access to the rooms. The room was clean with a great bathroom, It had good curtains to keep the room dark which was also very quiet. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We would recommend the Rooftop Bar and also Bob's Bar downstairs; both of which offer good meals and drink selections with friendly staff.

Very good location to find a parking lot Great breakfast is a slice of canned fruit and canned milk. Simple breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant. Dinner can be eaten at your own expense. Many rooms in the whole room are next door to a car takeaway supermarket. There is a drink recommended to buy mineral water locally. There is a carnival party at the weekend when there is no water in the salty hotel.

A good place to stay in Geraldton, the caravan spots were a good size and a concrete pad by van. The amenities were clean but well used. There is a good bike track going from outside park to centre of town . The sites were a bit noisy at night due to train track close by.

Great location next to the beach with cinema and lots of shops cafés and restaurants in walking distance with off road secure parking. Very comfortable beds and nicely apponted tidy rooms. Great manager friendly and helpful. I've paid a lot more for a lot less. I have stayed several times and it's my prefferd place in Geraldton.

We are Accor Plus Diamond members and stay at a lot of 4-5 star hotels with Accor on the east coast and the welcome and service that we received from Caitlin is the best we have ever had from Accor, we felt valued and all the lovely and thoughtful touches she did to make our stay more comfortable. Ibis Style Geraldton and Accor is very lucky to have such an amazing team member like Caitlin and with the great guest interaction she provides, I am sure she will do very well in the industry! A two site property, with two different ratings. We aware staying at The Mantra for 9 nights, during the period of my son’s wedding. We had booked a 3-bedroomed apartment for the entirety of the stay, to give us plenty of space. On arrival into the 3-bed apartment overlooking the road, it was dark, dated and quite frankly very dirty and need of a (very) deep clean. So back at reception, (after a brief discussion about the wind in Geraldton being the cause) Romena then came out to the reception and asked about my issues. Frankly she saved the day (well 10 days to be precise). She offered us a 2 bedroom apartment in the newer block by the marina (though we were on the car park side of the building). What a difference!! A modern bright apartment, all spotlessly clean, and although we only had 2 bedrooms there was still plenty of space. Romena came back up to the old apartment (17) and took pictures to show the state of the apartment to raise the matter with housekeeping. So without a doubt, stay in the new block, if you can can get a marina view, even better. We had an issue with our washing machine and I was offered the use of a machine in another room after guests had checked out, and the view was amazing. (Thanks to Donna from housekeeping for sorting out the use of the washing machine!!) Nonetheless we had a side view of the beach, and a great view over the town up to the HMAS Sydney memorial. Skeetas restaurant is situated in the same building, and we had breakfast there a couple of times, a takeaway dinner, and a few drinks overlooking the marina. So yes, I would definitely stay at the Mantra Geraldton again, but only in the new block!! Please upgrade the rooms in the other block to the same standard (indeed to the standard you would expect from a Mantra) to avoid guests being so disappointed!!

It's relatively simple, there is no elevator on the second floor. It is inconvenient to have a suitcase with the elderly. The kitchen utensils in the room are fairly complete and no salt is provided. The customer has the key to leave the store. The check-in does not tell me how to take the keys later than the business hours. The whole Western Australia feels very insecure when going down. If you don’t make a reservation in advance, you will face the dilemma of the closing of the work.

We stayed one night in this heritage house. Pluses are good communication by the owner or manager, a comfy bed in a very roomy bedroom with reasonable block out blinds/curtains, plenty of items like books and antiques and kitchenware to explore and use, the situation on a quiet street within walking distance of the centre of Geraldton, and good hot water pressure in the shower! Minuses were that the no-one was there apart from the guests- it has the historic bed and breakfast vibe which usually is made more special and personalised by the owner being present; and that we couldn't get the TV in the room to work. But the advice in the information pack in the room was appreciated, as were all the previously listed pluses. Would be happy to stay again.
