Perfect location in a walkable tree-lined neighborhood, where there are lots of upscale restaurants and bars and cafes. The hotel isn’t the newest and could use a touch-up in places but very interesting design, cool artwork in the lobby, huge rooms. A couple machines for laundry and gym on top floor. Service at the reception was super helpful. Breakfast is in a restaurant that is a German beer place during the day and night. Selection is modest but sausages and delicious broth and noodles, the bread could have been more fresh. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Moonlight Courtyard Hotel during our trip to Kunming. The hotel boasts a truly unique ambiance with its beautiful and tranquil courtyard design. The moment we stepped in, we immediately felt a sense of relaxation. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, making us feel right at home. The hotel also offers a fantastic array of complimentary services, including breakfast, afternoon tea, sweet soup before bedtime, free laundry service, Chinese tea tasting, and even a Hanfu experience. While the room rate isn't the cheapest, I believe it's absolutely worth it, as they provide far more than just a place to sleep – it's a complete and thoughtfully curated experience. During our stay, I wasn't feeling very well, so having such a quiet and comfortable environment to rest in was incredibly important to me. The staff's concern and care truly made me feel comforted and supported. The hotel's location is also very convenient, being close to Nanping Pedestrian Street, Jinma Biji Archway, and Kunming Old Street, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. Thank you to the entire hotel team for your care these past few days. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Kunming and would highly recommend it to friends who appreciate a charming courtyard style and a thoughtful accommodation experience.

Booked this courtyard hotel for a layover in Kunming, and it truly exceeded my expectations! ✅ Super attentive service: The butler proactively helped us with our luggage when they saw we had a child, and even prepared 'cat treats' for the baby every day to feed the cats. The attention to detail was incredibly touching! ✅ Incredibly soothing environment: The courtyard is filled with lush greenery, like a small garden, and there are nearly 10 super friendly cats. If you leave your room door open, they'll come in to play, even stretching out on the bed. They're so soft and utterly therapeutic! ✅ Convenient location: It's right near Nanping Pedestrian Street, making getting around and finding food very easy. The room was clean and tidy, and we had a particularly comfortable stay. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic. This is a hidden gem I'd highly recommend to friends traveling with children!

Mainly focusing on the environment choice, just brushed it and did not hesitate to book, after the hotel, the real thing is the same as the photo. Hygiene really has nothing to say, can not find any problems, the bedding is also very new, the slippers are very comfortable, the toothbrush is very easy to use, there are various foam hand sanitizer and laundry detergent these small details are also very plus points, but if you have a disposable toilet pad, it would be better. The facilities are very complete in all aspects, the sofa and bedding and the wardrobe are very high-quality, very high-end and textured, the overall decoration style is really like, whether it is the appearance of the hotel lobby or the interior, the rooms and corridors are very American. The high-end atmosphere is high-grade, and the service is also very good. Every waiter I met from check-in to check-out was very warm and thoughtful, and very caring. I have introduced it to several friends. I will definitely choose here if I have the opportunity in the future! However, there is a suggestion that the sofa cushion of this suite has a broken corner cushion. If there is a condition, it is recommended to renovate it. However, the sofa is not sitting much, and the sofa cushion is not very visible, and it is not much impact. Another point that is highly recommended is that the hotel room has a smoke alarm! ! ! ! ! Because the individual especially hates the smell of smoke, the design of the hotel can completely guarantee the smoke-free environment of the room, it is really super plus points! ! !

My stay here was excellent. The front desk staff were very friendly and attentive, and check-in was super efficient. They proactively informed me about the hot spring's opening hours and breakfast times, and even offered helpful tips for exploring the area. The hotel is about 4km from Dianchi Lake, and within a 2km radius, there are plenty of dining and shopping options. The hotel's breakfast spread was incredibly rich, featuring a great mix of Chinese and Western dishes. There were pastries, fruits, desserts, and various beverages. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and the freshly prepared noodle station served authentic, tasty noodles. The hot spring area was clean and elegant, with a comfortable water temperature. My room was tidy and quiet, with all the necessary amenities. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next vacation.

The hotel is located right by Dianchi Lake, with separate lanes for vehicles and pedestrians. There's an observation deck not far from the hotel, and it's about 800-900 meters to Haigeng Park and Haihong Wetland. However, you still have to walk further to get to the cable car station, and I estimate the dam is even further – I didn't go there. The hotel is 2.3 kilometers from Xingti Road Station on Metro Line 5. Our package included one complimentary drop-off service to the metro station, which was really good. It would be even better if they offered round-trip shuttle service to the metro for backpackers. However, there aren't many shops around the hotel. For dining, it's either the hotel restaurant or ordering takeout. Park 1903 Commercial Street is about 3 kilometers away, so it's more suitable if you have a car. The hotel service was excellent. The front desk staff, housekeeping, and drivers were all incredibly gentle and friendly. The manager even proactively helped us with our luggage. The hotel is quite understated; in fact, the observation deck not far away offers amazing sunrise views, but they never promote it.
