GGuest UserThis is my first time leaving a review voluntarily, and it's truly because I had such a wonderful stay! The hotel facilities are top-notch, but what really impressed me was the service. It was exceptional! A group chat was set up a day before our arrival, with seven staff members dedicated to our party of one. They responded instantly to all our requests. When we arrived, several butlers were waiting at the entrance. Each butler assisted one family, and I didn't have to carry my luggage once. When we left, the butler came to collect our luggage and arranged a car for us. Breakfast was served at our reserved time and was absolutely delicious. There was also afternoon tea and evening desserts. The mini-bar was fully stocked with food, drinks, and alcohol, and it was replenished daily. Upon entering our room, we were provided with aloe vera gel, sun umbrellas, and a small fan. The best part was the complimentary laundry and drying service—that was a real lifesaver! After swimming, we'd just toss our dirty clothes into a basket, and soon after, the butler would return them clean and folded. We could swim three times a day without worrying about running out of clothes. The bar at night was great too. It was closed the first night due to rain but opened the next day. I thought about ordering a Long Island Iced Tea, and to my surprise, the staff asked for my room number and informed me I had a 100-yuan voucher, so I didn't have to pay – a pleasant surprise! During our stay, there was a southwest swell, and ferry services were suspended the previous weekend, so we were worried about getting to the island. Thankfully, we made it smoothly. When we saw that a pool room was available, they upgraded us for one day (as other room types were fully booked for the second day). We were incredibly lucky that the guests in the pool room checked out the next day, and the hotel proactively extended our upgrade for another day, saving us the hassle of moving rooms. In short, everything was perfect, and there's so much more I haven't even mentioned. It's truly a top choice for a vacation! We stayed for two nights, then left for Beihai on the third day and stayed at another five-star hotel, but their service was incomparable. My daughter's first words the next morning were, 'Can they bring breakfast to us?' 😂😂😂 It was so good, we'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserI was very curious how a property with such an affordable price has a such a high rating. I was immediately convinced by myself.
The property is perfectly located in the Southern part of the Island near Crocodile Mountain and its beautiful beach as well as South Bay with countless options of tasty seafood. The room is big, bright, clean and smells great. There is everything a traveller needs. The highlight is clearly the boss, she is very warm, welcoming and very kind. There was a book in my room which I took out of curiosity to read on the beach, and I realized it contained great messages. I asked the boss if she is willing to sell it to me but she gave it for free. She told me that she deliberately puts books with great messages for young people in the room since many students stay in her property. Wow...I wish more people in this world would be like the boss. Don't hesitate and book a room here. If I ever happen to be again on this island, I know where to stay!!

CCharms928Had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The service was absolutely impressive where free laundry service and daily afternoon tea with fresh fruits and cakes were served. They also helped to arrange free transport between the harbour and the hotel. The door gift is particularly thoughtful which contains a nice UV protective umbrella, mosquito repellant and sun block.
The room was spacious, clean and tastefully designed! Ours was the ground floor room with the garden view. Though the hotel swimming pool is right outside, the lush greenery offered great privacy. The air-conditioned and pleasantly perfumes room was literally my oasis during this short island trip! And it is quite budget friendly!:)
Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who’s planning to visit the island!
Overall A+ experience!
(Though it’d be a plus point if the laundry could be ironed.)

LLawcchThis was my second time checking in for this new homestay. The boss is very kind to pick me up from the Beihai jetty after I returned from my trip to Weizhou island. The room is very clean and beautifully decorated. He was also very responsive when I requested slippers and clothes hangers. This Homestay hotel is strategically located near the silver beach. I strongly recommend travellers or tourists stay here to see the beautiful homestay place and the boss is also kind enough to allow cooking in the kitchen. I also did my sweet and sour pork and chicken meats in my first 2 days stay here. I gave the boss and this homestay place considered 5 stars for the best value for money.

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave.
Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play.
The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way.
The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned.
The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture)
If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe.
I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China.
However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too.
These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host!
I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

GGuest UserThe boss was very considerate and turned on the air conditioner for us in advance. As soon as we arrived at the B&B, he came to help us with our suitcases. He was very enthusiastic. The TV in the room won't turn on, come and help immediately. Very satisfied. It was just that the weather was cool this time, so it was a pity that I couldn't swim. The swimming pool in the B&B is also great. It is very close to Silver Beach. We go to the beach to play every day after waking up. The children are very happy.

AAdai0621An absolutely fantastic hotel, the best in Beihai! I was originally in Nanning for a business trip, and since it happened to be my birthday, I decided to go to Beihai for a few days to celebrate. As a Marriott Gold member, I mentioned it to the hotel, and they went all out to decorate my room for my birthday and even sent a birthday cake. The hotel is very new and is currently the best in Beihai. The breakfast selection is extensive and high-quality, with everything freshly cooked on-site – no pre-made dishes at all. The front desk concierge, J, provided excellent service, and the housekeeping staff were also very polite. I will definitely choose Marriott again on my next visit!

GGuest UserI came to Weizhou Island for a day trip alone. This hotel is great. The owner personally went to the pier to pick me up. Thumbs up to the owner! The hotel also offers electric bike rentals at affordable prices. The bikes can be ridden very fast and it’s so cool to take a ride on the beach! The boss is a local of Weizhou Island. He can also give you a guide to check in around the island. You can check in the scenic spots according to the guide. If you don’t understand, you can ask the boss
I bought a double room, but the boss changed it to a king-size room when he saw I was alone. The bed was really big, and the space was also large. It felt like it was almost 30 square meters. Surrounded by fields, it was quiet at night.

GGuest UserWe booked the Deluxe Seaview Double Room, on the 5th floor facing west (best angle for sunset views). The room was huge, probably over 70 square meters. What I loved most was the large sea-facing balcony, which felt at least 10 meters wide – absolutely fantastic! My family and kids took turns taking photos; you could spend all day there without even needing to go downstairs, it's such a photogenic spot! The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming, and check-in was super quick. The infinity pool is right on the first floor, with both shallow and deep sections, plus a whale-shaped slide that the kids absolutely adored! You can also access the Guanling 'Never-Set-Sun' Beach from a gate on the first floor (accessed by key card). This beach is less crowded than Silver Beach and the water quality is much better! I used my drone for aerial shots, and every picture looked like it belonged in a magazine! The hotel's exterior is very grand, and the surrounding environment is meticulously designed and decorated, making it truly unforgettable! Next time I'm in Beihai, I'll definitely be staying at the Sheraton Beihai Hotel again!

Mainly, it is very close to the coastline, and the balcony is open-air and you can sit, enjoy the sea breeze and look at the sea at night, it is very comfortable.
