We had the most lovely stay at the University Arms in Cambridge. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the hotel smelled amazing. The rooms were quite spacious and the beds were very comfortable! The bartenders in the lounge area were exceptionally kind and made delicious cocktails! I especially want to highlight the restaurant manager, Francesco. He was extremely gracious, welcoming, and professional and made our stay at the University Arms that much more wonderful. We will definitely stay here again!

The family hotel is in a good location, the facilities are average, the bed is very comfortable, the breakfast is a little less, overall it is OK, but because the deduction problem is communicated by the waitress, but she is not so nice, saying that she has to wait for the manager to come back and take the baggage in the afternoon. The manager is very good, the problem is solved quickly, it is really a completely different service experience for different people.

Call the landlord half an hour before check-in! He can come over and get the key to open the door, so he doesn't have to wait downstairs! Like a small apartment, the bathroom, laundry room, and dining room are separated. There is milk, juice and butter in the refrigerator, and you can cook your own meals. Staff were very helpful on multiple occasions. First, we had to change our booking owing to the heatwave, and while Booking.com failed us in this regard, a quick phone call to Alex, the receptionist, got us all sorted. Secondly, the staff were very generous with provided fans, offering as many as we'd like, and thirdly when we had to use ”Send my Bag.com” to get some suitcases back home, they handled everything on their end perfectly and without charge. The hotel itself has some nice old interior decor, and the continental breakfast was very generous. Location was also a big plus, as it is difficult to find anywhere closer to the old university town. One small gripe would be that the en suite had a few minor spots missed in its cleaning, though the room itself was spotless.
