Hyatt Zilara Cancun - All Inclusive - Adults Only

I can't say enough good things about this hotel, I just had the best time here. I do want to say that I am absolutely not a resort person who goes to an all-inclusive and spends all their time in the resort, doing the resort activities and hanging out by the beach all day. I spent a total of 8 days at this resort and half of those I was out the entire day. The 4 days I did spend at the resort I mostly just hung out on my balcony (which was FANTASTIC) reading. I didn't do any resort activities, I didn't listen to any of the evening entertainment, etc. I did eat at the restaurants, which were all very very good. I did seriously enjoy my balcony, which was one of the ocean view balconies that has 2 loungers instead of a chair and a hammock (I would not have enjoyed the hammock, so this turned out great for me). I also ordered room service multiple times, which sometimes took a little while and once they messed up my order, but the food was very good, and hot, and you could order it even late at night which was nice. Service across the property was great, everyone was extremely friendly, and I needed help a couple of times with random stuff and they bent over backwards to help me out. Couldn't have asked for better service. The location is great, very walkable to restaurants and stuff, and the property is really very nice. Overall I had a great time and I would happily stay here again.

Flamingo Cancun All Inclusive

As soon as we arrived and waited in line for almost an hour to check in I was told that the swim-up room I had reserved and already paid for was not available due to the fact that they were doing maintenance on the pools. I told them that if I had been informed of this before I flew down here I would have canceled the trip. The front desk clerk apologized for any inconvenience and told me he would have a bottle of wine delivered to my room. I told him that a bottle of wine does not make up for the difference in the price of the room I reserved and one of their regular rooms (about $500 difference for the week). We went to the room and they had placed us in a lagoon side room that is right above the main street in Cancun, you can definitely hear the traffic from the room and it had two twin beds rather than a king that we had reserved. Needless to say, this was terribly disappointing. It took another 6 trips to the front desk and moving our belongings three times before we finally were given the room we had already paid for. The person who finally helped us get this resolved wasn't a manager or a front desk person, it was one of the bellmen who saw a couple who had been messed around and he decided to help out. So I overpaid them and my travel agency and neither one of them will refund me the difference in the rooms. Oh, did I mention that I have been dealing with Expedia ever since my return home September 25th?

Hotel NYX Cancun

There were no major issues during our stay. Excellent service! Tips: Bring plenty of $1s for tipping. I'd recommend tipping around $1 per drink and $5-$10 per meal, more for above-and-beyond service.) Take care of the staff and they will take care of you. Meals: Know the dress code before you dine. The sushi restaurant at Umami doesn't require reservations and the food was amazing. Ivonne, our server, provided superior service. Also, as a vegetarian, I was happy that most of the menus indicated which items were vegetarian, but it was a little frustrating at the buffets to not know which items had meat. For example, at breakfast, I didn't know that the refried beans were made with lard. (However, when we asked about it, the staff offered to accommodate my dietary restrictions the next time we dined. Unfortunately, it was too late as we were leaving early the next morning.) Drinks: The drinks were excellent, I recommend getting a michelada (beer with lime and clam juice). Pools: There are two pools, a pool with a bar (not a swim-up bar) and another with hot tubs. There were plenty of daily activities at the main pool. Rooms: Our room (standard) was great, two double beds. No issues with cleanliness or maid service. I loved that there was a magnifying mirror for putting on makeup in the bathroom. The lighting in the bathroom was also good for makeup/grooming. There was a hairdryer. Toiletries provided included shampoo, soap, body wash, and lotion. There was an iron and ironing board. The mini-fridge was stocked daily (not by the maids, a different person kept the fridge stocked) with a Sprite, a Coke, 2 large waters, and two beers. (If you need more water, just ask at the front desk.) There's also a coffee pot in the room. All-inclusive: Know ahead of time what's included in the all-inclusive package and/or don't assume; just ask! The all-inclusive does NOT include room service, premium drinks, spa services, certain menu items, or tips. Also, there are some restrictions regarding the Italian restaurant and Umami, but you can eat at Umami without reservations; you only need reservations to sit at the hibachi bar. I made sure to read a lot of reviews for Hotel NYX before this trip; the negative ones seem to be written by disgruntled guests who were rude to the staff or upset about an issue they didn't report during their stay (waiting till they left to complain). Hats off to the guest experience manager who artfully responds to every single review.

Park Royal Beach Cancun - All Inclusive

Cancun|0.78km from Museo de Arte Popular Mexicano
Pros: Park Royal Cancun is a newly renovated Resort, which I would give a 4.5 *. As you enter through a security- controlled entrance, you are awed by the beauty of the grounds and plants. Luggage handlers were quick and efficient. The lobby was very inviting. Checking in was a breeze. Alex and Orlando were very friendly and helpful. There are four restaurants: Mexican, Italian, Pescador and Veranda, the Veranda is a buffet, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pescador, lunch and dinner, no reservation is required. Italian and Mexican, dinner only, reservation required. The meals at the Veranda and Pescador were excellent. There were daily activities by the main pool, which also has a bar. Another pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean has a bar that also serves you and a few hammocks under some huts. Next to this area is an old Mayan ruins which you could tour, but be careful, the area is steep and rock stairs to climb. A grilling station is next to both pools. A gym is located by the main pool. There are nightly entertainments in the main lobby. I had the Presidential room which accommodated six adults. All rooms were cleaned daily if required. The Equinox on the roof provides evening drinks and some entertainment. There is one of the largest shopping malls La Isla across the Resort. Cons: Poor internet service, strongest signal is in the main lobby. Could use more nightly entertainments. Should have better entertainment at the Equinox. I would recommend umbrellas in the rooms, especially the building that has rooms only and all guests need to come to the main building for meals etc. and when it rains it is an inconvenience as there is no sheltered area to cross under. KODOS: Main Reception-Alex and Orlando. Royal Reception-Isidro. Lobby Bar-Elizabeth. Veranda Restaurant-Graciella (Reception), Gabriel and Ricardo (Waiters) Pescador Restaurant-Vivian and Dana (Reception). Funtastic-Evelyn and Viri(Entertainers). Ismael (Trainer). Royal Representative-Alan. And the gardening team who are relentlessly working to make the place beautiful.

Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun Adults Only All-Inclusive

Hotel facilities, health, service and views are very good. There are three restaurants that require reservations. Among them, the French restaurant has Michelin standards, and the service staff are warm and professional. Butler service and room service also allow guests to lie flat in the room.

The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort Villas & Spa, Cancun

We ordered a studio with a kitchen. It ’s very convenient to cook. There is tableware. There is also a washing machine with a dryer. If you live a few days you can cook by yourself. It ’s very convenient. The hotel has a beautiful beach infinity pool. The opposite is Shopping mall, take a bus at the entrance of 12 pesos, one stop per person can go to a large supermarket and a lively market, if you have the opportunity to go again, you should choose this one

It is a very good location hotel. Good shopping. The price is cheap. The staff are friendly. The room is pleasant and clean. The small pool and jacuzzi were well maintained. Arrived on the spot and changed to a room with a view of the Ferris wheel and the sea according to the recommendation of the staff. Great value for money.

Loved this hotel! The pool and beach are amazing. Superb food too. Most of the staff were absolutely lovely, but a few were rude and awkward for no reason.
