Spacious and clean room. Very helpful front service ladies, always standby to help. About 5-10 minutes walking to the mountain resort. There is one of the largest shopping mall just in between the hotel and the resort. Fifth floor has many restaurant. There are also many eateries just behind the hotel with 5-10 minutes walk. Very commended when you come to Chengde

The service at Chengde Summer Resort Hotel is considerate, attentive and sincere. Travel tips will be sent to tourists before they arrive, including the driving conditions of attractions, shopping malls and restaurants near the hotel, so that tourists can predict before they arrive. The hotel is very neat, clean and has friendly service. The rooms are large and comfortable. The waitress cleaned carefully and wrote small notes to be more gentle. Everything is memorable. I’ll come to Chengde next time.

The Resort is very beautiful, well maintained, with nice areas and excellent location and service. The room clean and comfortable, the only thing we found was that the bathroom was small. We loved the food from the restaurant!

First let me explain, I forgot to take photos of the hotel. Staying at Ziyu Holiday Hotel (Chengde Mountain Resort) is mainly for the convenience of visiting Chengde Mountain Resort. It is only a few hundred steps from the hotel to Chengde Mountain Resort. We stayed in a double standard room. The hotel room was not big but the facilities were OK. The hotel front desk clerk warmly introduced us carefully. Since I didn’t take any photos of the hotel, I’ll post some photos of Chengde Mountain Resort. The scenery of Chengde Mountain Resort in autumn is pretty good.

The store is very considerate. We went to Chengde to take the postgraduate entrance examination and prepared special cheering gifts for us. The room is also very big. It's very close to the South Station, and it's totally ok to walk there. In short, I will stay here again next time! !

Location: It takes about 25 minutes to take a taxi from Chengde South Station, and the meter is about 40 yuan. Surroundings: You can see Bangchui Mountain from the main gate, with Wulie River behind you. The picture shows the scenery by the river in the evening. Take a taxi to the villa, Puning Temple and Chengde Museum. Basically, the starting price is the starting price. It is very convenient to wave on the roadside. Catering: The breakfast variety is good, and the variety is complete. It is definitely enough to eat. It may be in time for the May Day holiday. It is recommended to speed up the frequency of refilling dishes and extend the breakfast time to avoid guest dissatisfaction. For lunch and dinner, I ordered dishes in the hotel restaurant for two days. The taste is very good. The only drawback is that there is a comparison when eating consecutively. The amount of dishes of some dishes is obviously reduced. I hope that the quality control can be guaranteed even with more guests. Who knows which one is a repeat customer, right? Guest room: I booked an elegant double bed, next to the lobby on the first floor, next to the elevator, people coming and going, and there is a parking lot outside the window. The room is quite comfortable, but it is false to say that this kind of room layout is not noisy. It is recommended that friends who like quietness ask for the room location when checking in and avoid it. Service: Finally, let me talk about the service. From accommodation to dining, the attitude is very good and enthusiastic. The hotel also has travel services, ticket booking can be discounted, and you can follow the tour guide at a reasonable price. My experience was overall good, but the bathroom of the room I booked for the first night (single, queen bed) was so stinky at night that I could not bear it. I called the concierge, and the maid came to clean the bathroom (they were very fast= good service) but the problem is in the pipes, not in the cleanliness, (it was very clean) so spraying a bit of air freshener won't solve the problem. I changed rooms the following night. Also, it was quite noisy at night and in the early morning, they should keep an eye on noisy guests. Last thing, but not less important, people were smoking inside the hotel corridors and it was stinky. The management should try to enforce the rules of non-smoking. I understand that know nobody in the hotel wants to call on the smoking clients, but not enforcing the law results in other clients being unhappy too. All in all, I would probably stay there again.

Great location, short drive or 15 minute walk to Summer palace. Close to many restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Hotel is very modern and spotlessly clean. Rooms were very comfortable, although the one I staye din didn't have a fridge. Staff were extremely friendly. Didn't have breakfast but would consider getting it next time as the hotel was so good. Will definitely stay here again!
