Glen Garth Guest House

We have just returned from Chester staying at the glen garth guest house meeting up with family from Australia what an excellent experience we booked Dircet by ringing the guest house up and speaking to Hayley and John we got parking included in our package, the guest house is absolutely amazing spotlessly clean inside and out everything was provided for our stay in the room we had our own private bathroom tea coffee and biscuits I loved the fact that that there was also face wipes provided for you to remove makeup there’s also an iron and small ironing board along with a hairdryer also a fan if to hot and extra blankets if needed we both slept really well the pillows was excellent breakfast wow it was all freshly cooked to order and it was simply delicious there was tea coffee fruit juice yogurt cereal fruit lovely jams marmalade we would like to thank John and Hayley for everything and we loved reading the family ethos of your guest house we can very very highly recommend staying hear you definitely won’t be disappointed 😘😘 Thanks Hayley and John hopefully see you guys again 😘

We enjoyed a wonderful 4-night stay at Glen Garth Guest House. Hayley and John did everything possible to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The house was charming and the breakfasts amazing. Hayley provided us with great information to explore Chester-a real gem! The location was perfect: an easy walk to the historic area and many great eateries close to the hotel after long days of sight-seeing. I highly recommend Glen Garth Guest House to travels looking for an authentic British experience.

Such a beautiful, clean and tidy guest house with all the facilities you need for a night away from home. And very friendly and helpful owners.

Hayley and her team were absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend! Easy access to Chester city centre. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Absolute gem just on the outskirts of Chester but within walking distance. Fabulous breakfast… nothing is too much trouble.

Glen Garth guesthouse ticks every single box.Our room was a fabulous size.Scrupulously clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need.The bed was really comfy and the bed linen was spotlessly clean. The cooked breakfast was plentiful and cooked with care.A delicious meal to start the day.Probably the best breakfast I have had in the many guesthouses stayed in. The guest house is well sited for walking into the city but if you can’t be bothered the bus stops right outside. The village centre of Hoole a few hundred yards away has some excellent eateries and some really good quirky independent shops. To sum up,I can recommend GlenGarth with hand on heart.It is a hard one to beat.

We stopped at the Glen Garth over the bank holiday weekend. Our room was well appointed, spotless and very comfortable. From the guest house it’s an easy stroll to the centre of town. Our hosts, John and Hayley were most welcoming, did all they could to make our stay comfortable and they’re a fountain of knowledge on Chester. A wonderful breakfast was a great way to start our day. We can throughly recommend the Glen Garth

Lovely friendly hosts. Very clean room with tea, coffee facilities and seperate bathroom. Good choice for breakfast from yogurts, cereals to a good cooked breakfast. Not much parking space but we managed to get one. Room was very quiet at the back of the house.

My second stay at Glen Garth and another great break. Hoole is literally a short stroll away from the station, buses to the zoo, aquarium and Cheshire Oaks stop on the road outside and a taxi from town costs £6. The hosts are lovely and go to great lengths to ensure their guests are comfortable. The Guest house is very clean, well maintained and has everything you might want. Breakfast is lovely, freshly cooked to order and plentiful. The only thing which might put some people off is the stairs.

Hosts were great made us feel very welcome gave us good suggestionson where to go . The room was large enough with a nice sized toilet and shower. There was also a separate sink in the main bedroom. Good supply of tea and coffee. Room was very clean. Bed was a bit on the hard side for us but pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was a great choice of cereals yogurt, toast jams and then the cooked English breakfast. Plenty of tea coffe and juice. All in all a great stay.
