Hotel is located 1-2 minutes from the market hall, and right next to the pedestrian zone, and maybe 1-2 minutes to the river abd bridge. So the location is very good. An airport shuttle bus station is about 10 minutes walking distance, very convenient.
The hotel was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and big enough for a single traveler. The breakfast buffet was decent and everything looked and tasted fresh and good.
In total, I really enjoyed my stay there and would come back anytime.
The hotel is very good, although it is a cheap hotel, but the facilities are very good, the hygiene conditions are also OK, the breakfast is also very good, the price is very close to the people. Budapest is not expensive to take a taxi. In fact, you can walk to some attractions, all two or three kilometers. The hotel's breakfast, there is an egg white fried bread, very delicious 😋. The hotel has a large water pressure and the bath is very comfortable.

The location of this hotel was perfect for us, slightly removed from the rest of the big hotels but a very short walk to the river. The front desk staff was first rate service, dealt with a late checkin very well and were very helpful on checkout. The breakfast was generally very good, staff could get a bit flustered during busy times but there is a guide to busy and quiet times in the room so a good idea to keep that in mind. The bar staff could be a little frosty but service became much better when they realised (when we asked to pay) that we were staying ay the hotel.
The room was very nice, a good size all the usual little things, plus chocolate! The robes provided were a bit tatty, but still functional. Certainly somewhere I would stay again.
The room was very quiet. The hotel is in a small alley and not close to the road. There are many supermarkets and restaurants in the surrounding area and they are all very close. Tea and candies are available at the front desk. The wifi is slow and the room is small
Quite a good option for its cost. Location is quite good to reach everything you would like to see. Design is a bit out of fashion, from 2005, and everything isn’t new… but still don’t make you feel really depressed. Air conditioning is centralised and im not sure if it is really enough for hot weather. Toilet in my room wasn’t attached to the floor properly. But still it worths its money.

It is located near Nyugati train station, where you can store your luggage. If you need to take the cross-country night train to Prague in the evening, you can walk there quickly with your luggage. There are subways, trams, supermarkets, and shopping malls nearby, and the living functions are very good.
Booked a room on the top floor. From the window you can see St. Ishtevan's Cathedral, which is so beautiful! The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet street, with a very good location. The hotel facilities are very new, and the breakfast is especially great! Very rich, and you can make your own fresh juice. Next time I come to Budapest, I will choose to stay here again.
The hotel is very unique overall, but unfortunately the hot spring pool was under maintenance when we went there and could not be used.
The room is spacious and the layout is very unique.
You can call the front desk to send toothbrush and toothpaste to the room
I would be happy to provide an excellent review for Continental Hotel in Budapest. My experience at the hotel was fantastic. The room was tidy and clean, and the location was excellent, close to the city center and the great synagogue. The pool and sauna were also great amenities. Most importantly, I would like to give a special thanks to the excellent service provided by the hotel staff, who was extremely helpful during my stay. Overall, I highly recommend the Continental Hotel for anyone visiting Budapest.

Excellent
KKatieOur stay at Kozmo Hotel was truly enjoyable. The staff's warmth and attentiveness made a positive impression, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout. The room's comfort exceeded expectations, providing a relaxing retreat. A commendable blend of excellent service and cozy accommodations, making Kozmo Hotel a top choice for a delightful stay.
SskytreeThere were some issues(?) when making a reservation, but it is a satisfactory hotel in many ways.
Since it has been renovated, it provides facilities and conveniences (capsule coffee, bottled water, chocolate, city maps, etc.).
When making an airport pickup reservation, you should provide the Trip.com address instead of the Google Map address (another hotel address in Buda District).
PPatricia CheowLocated near Budapest Operettszínház, and within walking distance to the magnificent Hungarian Royal Opera House. Nice small restaurants around, especially after a concert. Modern interior design.
Friendly staff, sumptuous breakfast!
SStrozekI had a great stay at Hotel President. The location is convenient, very close to Basilica and Danube the room is clean, no noise from the street, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast with some local food . I highly recommend this place.

MMarkThis is a nice 4 star hotel overlooking the Danube on the Budapest side of the river. Superior rooms are at the front of the hotel, which is the newer part. You have a choice of River View or Castle view, River view is better and attracts a supplement. Our reservation through Trip mentioned Castle view and River view, but you cannot have both! Breakfast is a good choice of hot and cold food, nice coffee and cakes. Rooms are well equipped, clean and serviced daily. Good hot water. Bathrooms have a bath with over bath shower. Toiletries are provided. Towels changed daily. Rooms have safes, kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. The TV was a Cable TV and had a variety of channels, one English, BBC. The hotel has a bar and restaurant and a gym. Staff are very helpful, we managed to check in early and upgrade our room to one with a River view. A good selection of nice restaurants are within 10 mins walk. The hotel is situated directly beneath the Castle, access by the steps or via the funicular which is 5 min walk along by the river, alternatively large buggy vehicles operate a hop on hop off shuttle service. We found that the Bolt taxi service (bit like Uber) is very good. We has a freelance taxi driver try to scam us by not using his meter, we refused to pay and invited him to call the police. Avoid freelance taxi drivers and make sure they use their meters. Bolt uses an app and was a lot cheaper than the price the hotel informed us if we used their taxi service. Photos are from our room window.
夏夏夏云云The location is perfect. Right in the center of the city. Really near to airport shuttle bus station, 5 minutes walk. The room however was a disappointment. The first room they put me in the bed has crumbs all over it. Asked them to clean, they put me in a new room instead. The bed was not comfortable, the duvet was soo old and smelly. Pillow as well. The worst was the bathroom. It has a very foul smell 😩.
I would not go back again. But then its very cheap and location is not bad!
张张This is a family hotel.
1. There are two check-in points. But the names are different. The store did not explain. It cost a lot of trouble on the day of check-in. I stood in the cold wind for more than 20 minutes that night.
2. No catering. There is also no refrigerator. The surrounding restaurants are very expensive. The breakfast restaurant introduced by the store is far away. The store's explanation of the address was also unclear, and it took a lot of trouble to eat breakfast for the first time.
3. There is no supermarket within at least one kilometer
4. The hotel is located in a residential building. Go through the security door when going out. The security door is equipped with a door open button, which is 4-5 meters away in a straight line, and the store did not explain. There are two green lights flashing on the security door, always thinking that it is a button to open the door, but it has never been successfully opened, always let passersby help.
5, the reception staff are not skilled. Too much inconvenience for simple check-in.

DDaninemoI arrived after 8pm, and after waking from Gere to there to find the office, I found out it was closed, I had 0 directions on how to check in. I am fine if there is no front desk, but if I already paid, I expected to have at least some instructions in advanced
Also, the entrance of the building for the apartments, doesn't look safe at all. When you are inside the apartment, you can't lock the apartment. (They said it locks by itself)
My studio was next to the cleaning room, so don't expect to rest in the morning, as you will wake up with all the noise they make.
For my needs, I won't stay here again.
Location is amazing.
AAbbeyLocated centrally within a short walk to a number of good bars, restaurants and cafes however it can get noisy until the early hours of the morning. The apartment was compact but big enough for 2 people however the bed was a very small queen. There was only 1 coffee capsule for 2 people staying and although there were lots of electrical sockets, they were all for European plugs and not one had a USB connection which would be far more useful for most travellers. The bathroom mirror was laughable - I’m 5ft 2” and could just see the top of my head in it!
Instructions to gain entry were emailed on check-in day, which also included downloading an app. This would’ve been useful to know prior to travelling.
GGuest UserReading the reviews, overall I was expecting worse. The room was a little dated but clean, the bathroom ditto. Clean sheets and towels. On the other hand, the pillows offered are really uncomfortable, the mini bar is not working and the breakfast is very poor and without a sweet proposal: I went on for three days on bread, butter and jam. The staff were friendly enough and the location was excellent for getting to the center by public transport.
