The hotel is a bit far from Hakata Station, and it is a 10-15 minute walk away. The room is compact, and there is a peculiar smell when the air conditioner is turned on. You can only close it and open the window for ventilation. The hygiene is average.
The hotel provides free breakfast, and the variety is OK. After breakfast, the hotel has a free shuttle to Hakata Station and Fukuoka Airport, which is good.
Haha, I made a reservation, but it was booked for 2 people, so I was alone in the 4-person room.
If you just book a 4-person room for 2 people, it seems like the two of you can just use it.
Honestly, if you want to rent a room by yourself, the price is similar to a hotel.
Instead, the room is very spacious, so there is no stuffy feeling.
Really, next time I'm going to stay here instead of the hotel.
Highly recommended.. The bathroom is clean, there are toothbrushes, slippers, towels, everything is provided as basics. ㅜGood, good, good.

Self-service check-in and check-out. I didn't see any service staff the whole time, which was a very novel experience.
The room is very large, it is a two-bedroom and two-living room apartment. The split-level design of the living room is a bit confusing. In fact, the size of a normal living room is enough for a large family to live in.
The hygiene is slightly worse than other hotels in Japan, but it is acceptable. Towels and toiletries are provided in sufficient quantities.
There is also a Japanese garden near the downstairs, which is marked on the map. You can go there when you have time.
The disadvantage is that you cannot store your luggage at the self-service check-in. You must leave with your luggage at 11 o'clock, otherwise the door will not open. The luggage storage at Hakata Station is often full, so it is recommended to arrange the itinerary reasonably if you want to play around the surrounding area after checking out.

The top floor of the hotel has a great view of the hot spring.
Breakfast is delicious but if repeated daily it will be a bit boring.
So if you stay for multiple days in a row be careful not to eat the same breakfast every day.
The hotel has a shuttle bus to the MTR station.
If you take a taxi from the airport to this hotel should not cost about five thousand yen.
The room can have youtube
There is also Netflix
The hotel is very clean nearby two have large supermarkets
There are four or five highly rated restaurants in a residential area five minutes ahead
There is a canteen in the small shopping mall next to the hotel

A slightly aged hotel, but still very functional, spacious and comfortable.
Our plan also included the access to the GRAND CLUB whole day, which provides breakfast, refreshments during the day, and all kinds of wine paired with a good collection of food at night at their cocktail hour. And yes all the food in breakfast and at the cocktail hour were great.
The location is fine, though you do need to travel back to hakata station or tenjin station depending on your itinerary

Good hotel is a very convenient location, near Canal City . Rate is a bit overpriced but seems like Fukuoka hotels rates are a bit more than other places in Japan .
I didn’t try the breakfast .but rooms beds were comfortable and it is a good place to stay.
Front desk lady from Nepal was very kind and helpful speaking English .
Room is larger than most hotels in Fukuoka but bathroom needs to be updated with old fashioned taps to mix hot & cold water. Amazing breakfast buffet spread with even a 'live' onigiri station.
Room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The shower water pressure was excellent. Convenient locations with lots of great restaurant options nearby.

Good location, size of the room is decent. The ladies outdoor bath is closed during my visit. There is late night food stall right across the street and their ramen and dumplings were outstanding. I also had a bbq beef lunch set near the hotel with a very reasonable price. They provide shopping coupons for lalaport at the lobby. Make sure you get them before heading to lala port ;) Overall, I enjoyed the stay and will visit again!

Very Good
JJessie SoonBooked the room for solo use but the bed can fit 2 adult. Very spacious room. Love that there’s a washing machine in the room, so that I do not need to leave the room to do my laundry. Bathroom was the typical Japanese size, different from the other room type. Hardly use it as there’s a public bath on the ground floor.

GGuest UserClean and big hotel room. Our family of 5 stayed in a spacious room with 3 large double beds. We can easily open our 3 large suitcases with plenty of space to walk around. Friendly and professional staff. Easy to park downstairs and convenient to retrieve the car. It’s automatic parking, you just drive the car into the elevator with assistance from a staff and it’ll park for you. There’s a Lawson right across from the hotel. Coin laundry with 5 washers and 5 dryers on the 3/F. There’s also an onsen for hotel guests on the 3/F.
DDenna HeryatiWe stayed for 4 nights in residential room which provides kitchen facilities (we only used the kettle) as well as washer/dryer (which we used often and really grateful for this service). We stayed here too about a week ago and hotel provides free luggage storage (for our large suitcase) for our 2nd check in.
Location is excellent with bus terminal and subway station very close by. Also surrounded by department stores, restaurants as well as Yatai.
Reception staff always so attentive; they were also able to book us a taxi to the airport for our morning flight.
Will definitely stay here for my future trips to Fukuoka.
AAnonymous UserFantastic hotel near to JR hakata station, subway station, eateries, shops, shops and more shops...
There was a Christmas market at JR hakata station. We were there every night during our stay in hakata.
Great service from hotel frontdesk staff. The room was clean and comfortable.
My first choice for a return trip to Hakata.

Zzh3usFull marks for Dormy Inn, we had impeccable service from the service team over there this time round. As we were using them as a platform to travel throughout Kyushu, we had left some baggage with them while we were away. They were nice enough to keep the baggage for us after they had validated that we have subsequent booking.
The breakfast roast beef was 10/10 best ever, they had an expensive Balmuda Toaster which allows for your toast to be fluffy while crispy and they have a Japanese style breakfast spread consisting of small plates including Mentaiko and Salmon Tartare.
Location is close to Hakata Station, it takes about 12 minutes walk to reach there. Just opposite is FUK Coffee, they serve fantastic expresso coffee and just down the street on the left is an AEON MAX VALUE 24 hour supermarket with cheap bentos, sushi, alcohol and sashimi available. Moving more on the left side direction is a shopping street with Daiso and other amenities.
I have to say that in general, Dormy Inn’s public baths – onsen facilities are top notch, they do not close after midnight (other than the sauna), the shower head is $300 in price from Refa and their hot water mixer taps are not press per use, but those normal ones you just turn on and it runs the water. The public bath is 10/10 fantastic.
During our last night there, Super Typhoon Kong-Rey was in the area and we had huge rainfall. Dormy Inn lent us umbrellas and it was the first time we experienced the fact that many of the guests decided to stay in and not go out. The public bath was full and the free ice cream was almost gone! The free noodles given out from 2130 – 2300 was so full they ran out of noodles and they were nice enough to give the guest that missed out instant versions so that they did not need to leave the hotel in the rain.
Overall I feel that they deserve full 5 stars, I really enjoyed my stay there and wish the staff all the best and thank you for the service!

GGuest UserVery good encounter with hotel and staff. Very polite staff. Hotel is in a very good location near the Hakata station. But very quiet, which is valuable. Convenience stores and car rental shops are nearby. Will recommend!

CChoi mingThe hotel staff is polite, the lobby is stylish and beautiful, the room is spacious enough to open two 30-inch large suitcases, the room is clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent. It is worth recommending
AAmirahGion stn exit 2. No escalator or lift at that exit. This is an unmanned hotel. Self service check in and check out using tablets. Had trouble checking in because could not find my reservation even after trying a few times. Called the operator using the link in the tablet and he helped resolved immediately.
1 laundry machine located next to the entrance. Free coffee from 7am to 8pm. Free breakfast too. Free towel and toileteries. Only 1 lift but I never had to wait long. No room cleaning service even if stay more than 1 night but can return and replace towel. I stayed 7 nights and got nothing to complain except the bidet in toilet not functioning.
TTabby YipGreat location, right next to the Canal City Mall, less than 10mins. walk from the Hakata Station, won't take long going to/from the airport. A large variety of restaurants and shops around, satisfying every need. Hotel breakfast is a buffet style of both Japanese and Western cuisines, including hot dishes, bakery, fruits + yogurts, rice and soup, as a vegetarian I have less selection but still good enough to fill up my stomach.
Overall it's a pleasant stay👍🏽
