"I was surprised when came here it was little bit hidden but I found it. At the reception very friendly stuff welcomed me with a drink and after check in they brought me to my room. It was a studio but big enough. Tea coffe and 2 water were free. Room was clean and modern style. Can't go wrong with that rate. Had a quick chat with the manager who was very friendly and told me about the hotel a little bit. Will for sure return again !"

"At the end of the year, I went to the island with my girlfriend and chose this hotel. As a result, the experience was very satisfactory. It is very convenient to go anywhere. In the afternoon, we played in the water on the beach, surfed, relaxed on the lounge chair, had a massage, and finally drank on the balcony with the sunset. This is the most beautiful way of life; the next day, we rented a motorcycle to go around the island, which was very comfortable!"

"The Hotel is very clean but the rooms are a little bit old kind of. The bathroom needs improvements or a renovation. The is big, coffee, kattle, hairdryer, towels and shampoo and shower gel is provided. Unfortunately the room is really dark, there is a window or glass door to get in, but if your room is at ground floor level, then there is not much sunlight. Location is super! Right in the middle of the city centre and very close to the Beach. The cleaning staff is really friendly, reception stuff is quite slow and not so welcoming. Overall it's a nice location to stay for a few days"

"A nice hotel located near the pier. Rooms are big and very comfortable for the price.  Unfortunately the service wasn’t great. The person at check-in showed us to the room and left the property. We couldn’t access the safe and wanted to rent a motorbike, but on calling them they didn’t want to come back to deal with it.  Overall though a good value place and would definitely stay again."

"Beautiful view, peaceful location, good service staff, polite and friendly. The swimming pool is secretly too salty. Beyond the general salt water pool I went down to play for just a moment and my skin hurt a lot. Breakfast options are a little less."

"Our Favorite Island Escape! This was our fifth stay at Vangduen Hotel, and we already can’t wait to come back! It’s the kind of place that never disappoints. In fact, the only sad part is packing up to leave. The location is perfect—tucked away on the quiet side of the island, offering so much peace and natural beauty. The clear, calm water and the soft white sand (honestly, it feels like flour!) make it the perfect spot to relax. Even though it’s peaceful, there’s still plenty to do. There’s a great selection of restaurants, a small shop for anything you might need, and a fun fire show in the evenings. The hotel itself is spotless, well-equipped, and super comfortable. The staff are amazing—so friendly and always happy to help with anything you need. It’s those little things that make each stay so special. We’d recommend this place 100%. In fact, we’ve already booked our next trip in two weeks! Vangduen Hotel really is a gem, and we feel lucky to have found it."

"The hotel is very suitable for vacation, very quiet and relaxing! There is the sea right outside, and there are not many people on the beach, basically all foreigners! The sea water is clear and there are many fish. The jelly sea is so beautiful. If the weather is good, you can see the sunrise when you wake up and open the door! It is far away from the pier and the main road 711. It takes 10 minutes to drive a motorcycle. Disadvantages: The facilities are relatively old, the air conditioning is not good, it can be said that it is basically the same as nothing! It is cooler outside than inside!"

"The hotel looks very beautiful, with small white houses in a well-kept garden. But the room is very simple, so simple that there is no design at all. The hotel service is basically non-existent, and the waiter can hardly speak English. The 3-star service is given to the guy who can't speak English but is very enthusiastic to help with the luggage. The hotel has almost no beach, but you can swim in the sea. The beach only appears for a few hours at low tide. There is some floating garbage in the sea, and no one fishes it out. Instead, some tourists spontaneously fish out the garbage there. Another bright spot is that this hotel actually has a large and clean swimming pool. The price is not expensive, and it is still okay if you don't have too many requirements for the room, beach and service."

"I have stayed at Flamingo Villa before (In the Garden Room), but this time I decided to stay in the loft room, which apparently is called the Family Room. Flamingo Villa is somewhat strange, since the ”Hotel” is basically three rooms within the Samed Your House hotel. Our neighbors actually knocked on our door to try and check in ~ You need to call the phone number for Flamingo Villa in order to check in, as someone will come out to meet you. So, bottom line up front: Flamingo Villa is awesome, but get ready to kill a lot of mosquitos! The owners do a good job of lighting incense sticks to try and keep the them away, but there are fountains around the area and the mosquitos are no joke. I would say I killed at least 10 in our room, so it is super important to make sure you close the sliding doors behind you every time you go in and out of the room. The Family Room was awesome. The lower floor is basically a living room with a large day bed and a big TV with great speakers. The toilet room is separate from the shower. The stairs to the loft are pretty steep, but once you get up there it is really nice. There are two queen beds in the loft, and the glass wall and sliding door separate the bedroom from the main room, which is great because the bedroom has its own AC unit, and the glass keeps out the mosquitoes. The beds were comfortable, but be careful because the ceiling is very low above the beds. The view from up in the loft is very peaceful, and the owners obviously spent a lot of time decorating the place (The Christmas tree was still up while we were there). The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Sai Kaew Beach, and the pier for the ferry is only a 10 minute walk ~ but you can take a mini bus if you would like. The hotel is close to restaurants and stores, and there are two 7-11s close to the beach. We rented a motor bike the last time we were in Koh Samed, but Sai Kaew Beach seems to be the nicest on the island, so we just hung out there. I love Flamingo Villa, and I am sure I will stay there again in the future."

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel is very good, at first we booked for a day, but after checking in we were impressed by the location and extended for a second day, the first day we lived in a bungalow, the second day we lived in a separate salt building, the rooms are clean, the room has everything in individual packages, the split system is in working order, responsive staff, 200 baht tuk-tuk to the center of the island, there is a 7/11 and delicious shrimp, a clean beach, a place where the head rests. Excellent option for your money. Of the small minuses, that breakfast is until 10:00 and by this time everyone has already eaten and check-out is until 11:30.

QQuamrul AbedinSilversand Resort offers a wonderful beachfront experience with an unbeatable location right on Ao Phai Beach. While only a few rooms are directly sea-facing, we stayed in a garden view room that was still well-appointed and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. The buffet breakfast features a decent variety, including a live egg station, salad bar, breads, pancakes, rice, curry, vegetables, and fresh coffee. One small note is that the 10:00 AM cutoff for breakfast felt a bit early given the laid-back island atmosphere—perhaps a slightly extended timing would better suit guests on vacation mode. The resort maintains a no-smoking policy in its restaurant area (except some designated corner space), including the beachfront section. While this is appreciated from a health and family-friendly perspective, it may feel a bit restrictive for guests looking to fully unwind in an open-air setting. That said, the overall experience—from the location and food to the service and accommodation—was excellent. It is on the pricier side, but the quality and beachfront charm make it a worthwhile choice for couples or anyone seeking a relaxing island escape.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is great if you like snorkelling, the cleaning service is only from 9:00- 13:00 and you need to confirm with the staff if you need it or not, which is alright for me. The only thing made me is a bit uncomfortable is the reception provided food vouchers for our foreign friend( we checked in separately) but not us, even we booked the same room types and his room was right next to the beach.

GGuest UserTom Pizza Samet Hotel is a cozy place to stay that combines comfort, hospitality and a unique atmosphere. The location of the hotel is simply perfect: in a quiet and picturesque corner of Samet Island, but at the same time within walking distance of the beaches and main attractions. **Bungalow*   The rooms are clean, spacious and stylishly decorated. Each room has everything you need for a comfortable stay: a comfortable bed, air conditioning, a mini-fridge. It is especially nice that the rooms are always clean, and the staff carefully monitors the order. **Food:**   As the name of the hotel suggests, they serve amazing pizza! This is a real highlight of the place. The restaurant offers a variety of Italian dishes, but pizza is a must-try. All the ingredients are fresh, the dough is thin and crispy, and the portions are generous. Breakfasts are also top-notch: varied, tasty and filling. **Service:**   The hotel staff deserves special thanks. All the staff are friendly, attentive and always ready to help. It feels like they really care about the guests and strive to make their stay as comfortable as possible. **Territory:**   The hotel is surrounded by greenery, which creates a feeling of privacy and tranquility. **Result:**   Tom Pizza Samet Hotel is an excellent choice for those who are looking for a relaxing holiday in a cozy atmosphere with delicious food. I recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Samet and want to get an unforgettable experience!

MMarinaThe hotel is conveniently located, but tuk-tuks do not bring you to it, you have to walk through the courtyards from the bus stop, the first time we thought we would not find it, then we got used to it when you know the way. The location is convenient, on the 1st line, but perpendicular to the sea, so the windows overlook the backyard and the restaurant toilet. Apparently, during the low season, the restaurant staff got used to sitting there, talking, playing with the children, it was difficult to relax during the day, there was constant noise outside the window. Even when we asked them to be quieter, after some time they gathered there again and talked endlessly loudly, watched videos, played games. Then they moved to the area in front of the reception, but they talked so loudly that the noise still interfered with rest. At the same time, you will not find employees in the restaurant when you need to order food or pay, they are all relaxing there for their own pleasure. The hotel has its own sun loungers on the beach, but the restaurant staff tried to kick us out from there on the first day and insisted that we should order something in the restaurant, this spoiled the impression, of course. It is strange that the hotel has a restaurant, but no breakfast, it would be more convenient with breakfast. At 9 am, large groups of Chinese tourists are brought to the restaurant, in principle, as in other neighboring restaurants on the first line. The room is not bad, but old, the bed is comfortable, the TV only has Thai channels. The toilet in the bathroom is leaking, the faucet, apparently the same is on the floor above, because water was dripping from the ceiling and there is mold on the ceiling, and in the toilet itself there is no ventilation and a terrible smell of mold. There is no toilet paper, in front of the entrance to the toilet there is a holder with thin napkins, which is very inconvenient. We lived on the 1st floor, since among us there were people with disabilities, in front of the room there is a table and two chairs, but sitting in front of the restaurant toilet is not at all pleasant. Also, the employees in this place eat their own food and sometimes the smells are very unpleasant. The hotel is for very unpretentious visitors, but the sea is wonderful and two steps from the beach. On the main street there are many restaurants, massages, two 7-11, currency exchange. It's a couple of minutes' drive from the ferry.
