The hotel was clean and the staff were all very friendly. The location is in a quieter area of the island with a few minutes walk from some local restaurants and the local beach. To get to the main pier and the nearby town area, you either need a book a baht bus (Songthaew) from the hotel (which was about 200THB, so only really works in a group) or hire a moped from the hotel (which was about 300THB for a day). It takes about 10mins by moped. The hotel also has a bar which also has food. There are also two swimming pools. Would recommend this place if you want to have a quieter stay on the Island, but still want a place convenient enough to get to the main pier and town area.

I liked the hotel, the location is excellent, almost at the end of the beach, so there are no crowds of people or boats, the rooms (houses) are clean, recently renovated, the breakfast is good, the staff is friendly

We didn't stay at the hotel for long. The location is good. Sangteo is 20 baht from the pier per person, back 200 baht like a taxi. The hotel beach is not very good, rocky. You need to go to the beach next door or even further. Sun loungers are only for residents. Breakfast is like everywhere else, but you have to stand for an omelette. The standard room is small, but with a huge bed and a relatively soft mattress. There are mosquito nets on the windows and the front door, which is good. The restaurant in the hotel has a good selection and prices are the same as on the street. There is no tax or tip in the check. You can't hear the music from the disco in the next hotel until 12 at night.

A family of three adults and one child came to Koh Samet from Bangkok. The hotel looks very beautiful, with small white houses in a well-kept garden. But the room is very simple, so simple that there is no design at all. The hotel service is basically non-existent, and the waiter can hardly speak English. The 3-star service is given to the guy who can't speak English but is very enthusiastic to help with the luggage. The hotel has almost no beach, but you can swim in the sea. The beach only appears for a few hours at low tide. There is some floating garbage in the sea, and no one fishes it out. Instead, some tourists spontaneously fish out the garbage there. Another bright spot is that this hotel actually has a large and clean swimming pool. The price is not expensive, and it is still okay if you don't have too many requirements for the room, beach and service.

We arrived 1.5 hours early, they didn't check us in until 2:00 pm, they said we could use the beach area and wait. Although here insects were our neighbors too 😀 The beach is beautiful, I really liked the pool too They give you towels on the beach, good breakfasts like a buffet, a variety of dishes. The hotel is very suitable for vacation, very quiet and relaxing! There is the sea right outside, and there are not many people on the beach, basically all foreigners! The sea water is clear and there are many fish. The jelly sea is so beautiful. If the weather is good, you can see the sunrise when you wake up and open the door! It is far away from the pier and the main road 711. It takes 10 minutes to drive a motorcycle. Disadvantages: The facilities are relatively old, the air conditioning is not good, it can be said that it is basically the same as nothing! It is cooler outside than inside!

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights on Friday and Saturday. The room was not very clean. The mattress only had sand, the water flowed very gently. The room didn't have a towel in front of the bathroom, which we took to the resort. The staff informed that the towels were out of stock. The laundry hasn't arrived yet. There isn't any room. The water at the sink was not clean, the water was full of black debris. You have to bring drinking water to wash your face and brush your teeth. We also have a small child. I received an answer that I would have to wait until after 2 p.m., so I asked if the little one was asleep. The employee responded that the housekeeper had to go in and do it. That is, we must carry our child outside. There are few employees and not enough customers. During breakfast, customers do not have chairs to sit on. The employee didn't find a chair, he looked for a place to sit, he wanted to bring a chair to sit himself. For dinner in the evening, we chose to eat here because of the nice atmosphere and live music, so we reserved a table and it was my son's birthday. We chose to order the grilled seafood set for 1800฿. What I got was just a small crab and shrimp and it wasn't fresh at all. I've got food. Plates and spoons were not provided. But there was no one sitting at the table, all the plates, spoons and cups were placed. Our table had been reserved since lunchtime. We didn't even get food. We asked the staff to go 2-3 times. You can't eat it and wait until it's gone. Asked for mosquito repellent 4 times before getting a special day. Instead of being special, it made me very upset. But we tried to suppress our emotions. Because my boyfriend was very upset and angry at that time. Oh, and the hotel announced that there would be pancakes for the little one instead of the birthday cake, which is a free complementary. From the hotel which the younger brother did not receive The hotel phone is difficult to call. After finishing breakfast We took our children to sit by the sea and play in the sand. We went to order drinking water. The hotel refused and said the bar opened at 11 a.m. Very confused, just drink water and have to wait for the bar to open. We had to bring milk for the children to drink instead of water. Overall, we're not very good. I feel like the employees don't really care about the customers. P.S. The good thing about the resort is the good atmosphere, good tasting food (Tom Yum, fried fish with fish sauce), and there is live music in the evening. There is a fire show. There are staff to help carry luggage during check-in and check-out. It didn't take long to check out.

My first visit to Thailand, and spend a few days in Kho Samet. The Hotel was very good, the room was spacious. The food for breakfast was quite good as well. is a little away from other places more active and with more resorts around, but some distance is to my liking, and there's a really nice away bar nearby. was all in all a positive experience.
