Like two weeks ago in Ludres, I was overtaken by the Concierge with money claims that were not explainable in part. I had booked on Trip and used Coins. The hotel must at least know that the room is paid. Dumb foreigners take off? The hotel I know for a long time. The rooms are a little bigger than in the neighboring IN hotel and now have a refrigerator and a Senseo machine (photo). The hotel has an elevator and some rooms have a valley view. It was one of the B & B hotels 3 years ago. Opening times are limited. Eventually, you are facing closed doors. There is an automatic desk for the reception of the room card.

The incoming was very difficult, outside the opening hours. At first I had to pay again, while I had already paid with ideal. According to the gentleman, it was a reservation. I hope it will be written only once from my account. In the room we had a few problems with the helpdesk. It took 55 minutes before we were in! That's not fun at 1.00 hours at night. Finally, a staff member came to open our room. The room itself was quite spacious, clean and a nice shower. If there were no check-in problems, we would have had a very pleasant stay.

Vreemd hoor, er was wel tijd om mijn man te vertellen dat hij even zijn paspoort moest halen, maar zoals hier wordt gesuggereerd, geen tijd om te vertellen dat mijn kinderen niet welkom waren in het zwembad van de Spa. Meneer Julien GATINOIS, wij verblijven al heel wat jaren in goede hotels, heb zelfs gewerkt in één van de beste hotels in Washington D.C. , dus een zwembad met ”waterslides” is ook zeker niet wat wij zoeken. Wij zijn ook zeker bekend met ”adult only” hotels, maar zeker niet met een hotel waar mijn kinderen niet welkom zijn in het zwembad. Jammer dat gastvrijheid niet hoog bij jullie in het vaandel staat. Wij zullen in ieder geval hier nooit meer komen in Nancy en zullen ook niet kiezen voor een Best Western. Dit was de eerste keer bij jullie verblijven en ook de laatste. Review van week geleden: Mijn kinderen mochten niet het zwembad in om 17.00. Het was blijkbaar een adults only zwembad toen we al waren ingecheckt door mijn man en ik kater kwam met de kinderen. Decided to discover Nancy for a quick weekend getaway. Hotel is situated near the motorway and is easy for driving down into town. Executive Room was comfortable if a bit small. Sofa bed for the third guest is a bit hard. Bathrooms are compact but adequate and separate WC is useful when travelling with a teenager. Rooms have been renovated recently. Oddly, the safe was not yet secured to the cupboard. Reception and breakfast staff are friendly. There is a feeling of understaffing though. For example, the sofa bed had not been prepared on arrival. Breakfast choice is fine and varied. We did not have time to swim, but the pool area looks nice and the pool is quite large. From the parking, the hotel was full while we were there, but everything worked well. Some guests are completely inconsiderate when it comes to parking and yelling to each other, but that is not the hotel‘s fault. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again if in Nancy or in nearby Lorraine.
