"We are staying in F cabin cos there are 3 of us. Staff and service are great. Best glamping experience (we had Dutch oven dinner). I am lucky to see a glimpse of mt. Fuji from our room. Overall experience is lovely but not for the price I paid. Breakfast box is a must have."
"This hotel was excellent, offering stunning views of Mount Fuji. The room was spacious, and the staff were warm and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. The location was convenient for me since I had a car, and there are great eateries nearby, including a famous unagi restaurant. I truly enjoyed my stay here!"
"The overall experience was pretty good some of the minor points for improvement:
(1) hotel offers activities and most required reservation ahead of time (2-3days) which was not shared or communicated thus we were unable to participate during our stay
(2) the restaurant seats were arranged with little clues though we went early we were not arranged into the place could see views
(3) we forgot a coat at the hotel and was not aware until checkout the hotel has yet contacted us till now"

"Calm and clean place. A room was quite small, but we noticed it’s often met in Japan)
The hotel is near the picturesque place with the view on Fuji. It’s 10 minutes walk to the bus station. And you’re given all the stuff you need (towels, coffe, tea, etc)"
"A very nice guesthouse-style hotel with relatively large rooms compared to traditional Japanese hotels. It’s very convenient for self-driving, with a parking lot right downstairs. From the left side of the window, you can catch a distant view of a corner of Mount Fuji. Great value for the price. However, there is one downside: the shower water flow is inconsistent, alternating between strong and weak, hot and cold throughout the day, as mentioned in other reviews. Hopefully, this issue can be improved soon."
"Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from Kawaguchiko Station. The room was spacious with a tatami bed and a bunk bed, it can comfortably sleep 3 people. There is also an air purifier in the room. The bathroom and toilet are shared, they are spotless."
"I booked Furaku-Cat. A compact house with nice location, you can see Fujisan from the balcony , there are amenity prepared , you can buy some food from supermarket or ingredient to cook , you can park a car infront of the house, a road to the house is quite small if you have a large type car please be careful when drive to the house.
*The kitchen and rest room in the second floor, if you have elderly that can’t climb up-down the stairs there might be hard when they want to go to toilet."

"We have 2 nights of staying in this hotel, such a wonderful and pleasant place to stay. Staff are helpful and attentive to our needs. Free car park across the street, will definitely stay here for my next visit to Fuji Kawaguchiko."
"The decoration of the room is light luxury style, very comfortable, four rooms on the second floor, each room has a single bed, a double bed, and tatami on the first floor. The dishes we bought in the supermarket are heated and eaten very affordable and comfortable. The only suggestion to the landlord, can you prepare a few bicycles? Convenient to go around."

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel is nestled in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area. We stayed 3 nights in a room facing the lake with a magnificent view of Fuji-san. A van provides shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station. The restaurant is not operational hence we either ate outside or bought food back from Lawson/7-11. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive, and there were Mandarin-speaking staff. We miss it very much even though we are now in Hoshino Amoriya, which speaks a lot about the Kumonoue Fuji!
GGuest UserA fantastic hotel with great amenities to make your stay comfortable , memorable and everlasting . Breakfast was delicious too . Not to mention dinner . A place we would like to return to .
SShirlynI am incredibly grateful to the staff for arranging such an amazing Mount Fuji and lake view for us. It was truly the perfect birthday gift and made my celebration unforgettable. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every day was a dream come true.
A heartfelt thank you to the hotel team for their thoughtful gesture and exceptional service. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a beautiful view, comfortable accommodations, and an unforgettable stay.
VVnaaaEasy and Comfort Hotel. Prime location to explore Kawakuchiko and Fuji Mountain. Next to Supermarket was so convenience. Breakfast serve quite short from 7-9 AM, hence that was not an issue since we honor to leave early to see Fuji san. We will definitely come back.
ZZhaocanWent with my parents. Check in was relatively straight forward, as was check out. The hotel was quite spacious, the room was to be expected. Relatively basic but clean. Did not eat there. They were able to call us a taxi when needed. We enjoyed the onsen as it had different pools, though not sure about how much of it was “onsen water”.
BBSLStaying at Ashida Hotel was definitely a pleasant surprise. The price budget is also 3,000 per night, because 4 people can stay in the same room. A friend started jumping up and down as soon as he entered. The Japanese-style layout and traditional hot springs make it very comfortable.
The sky finally cleared up on the day we checked out. I was shocked when I saw Mount Fuji. It felt so majestic and beautiful.
This hotel is highly recommended for friends who want to see Mount Fuji in Kawaguchiko City.
AAshleyLovely property in a great location. You’re slightly more off of the beaten track but the tourist bus stop is right out front of the hotel. Great being right by the lake. Amazing room, massive for just me. There’s no shower in the room just a toilet but the onsen was lovely and you can shower in there. Older property also be aware those with accessibility needs the hotel is up quite a steep slope/numerous stairs and then when inside there’s no lift so I had to carry my luggage up and anyone with mobility issues would struggle as I believe all the rooms are on the first floor and that’s after tackling the way up to the hotel. Staff were lovely, can’t comment on dinner or breakfast but a great traditional ryokan stay.
GGuest UserIt’s about 10 mins car ride from train station to gran princess hotel. There is no pick up service or shuttle bus after 5 pm so very inconvenient esp those who are out to various attractions esp its cold wintry weather season. You can call from tourism centre between 3 pm to 5 pm. There are not many taxis around and have to wait for a long time and hotel staff does not offer help to do any booking for us and it’s wet and cold for all of us. The morning breakfast BBQ and onsen are a plus and you can chill out otherwise it’s far to get to 7 eleven store. In house restaurant is not available if you do not book one day in advance and only have option of ordering room service which a bit pricey.
OOnsiriJapanese style hotel. A bit old and outdated but I think it's charming with Tatami, futon and closet like where Doraemon sleep.
If you arrive at station after 3 pm you can call hotel for free pick up service, just 10-15 mins then they're there.
We've got a room at 10th floor so bit of a walk from main building to our room but it's fine there, great view of Fuji and lake.
Room were nice in Japanese style like I ever read in manga.
Our rate were breakfast and dinner included. Then they arranged for you as the time you prefer. Excellent food and super good service! Even they speak 99% only Japanese but service is extraordinary.
Don't miss the onsen too, cool experience to take a bath with a view.
They also have shuttle service to train station , just ask reception ,free of charge.
GGuest UserLet's talk about the hotel itself first. It is in Kawaguchiko, and the windows are facing Kawaguchiko, with a nice view. The hotel has ”hot springs” and saunas, which are large baths in China, and the room size is about the same as in China.
Let's talk about the location. Next to the hotel is the entrance to the observation deck cable car. You must come early to this place. We came down at 8:30, just opened, and there were relatively few people. After playing for an hour, people were already queuing to the side of the road.
