My 14 days quarantine experience at this Hill View Hotel at McCarthy Hill has been like a well planned, excellent vacation needed after a long flight to Ghana, in the mist of a pandemic. I feel safe, well nourished, rested and so 'spoiled' by the whole team caring for my stay in these challenging times. My meals are always cooked and served hot; they include daily breakfast, lunch & dinner. *I will encourage travelers going to Ghana, secure your place at Hill View Hotels for the best experience. One is located at McCarthy Hill and the other at West Airport area, all under the same management, a family owned hotel business. *Please, make sure that you don't confuse Hill View Hotels with any other name(s). Call the hotel directly from your online research number and let your enquiries help you make informed decisions. I thank Hill View Hotels management for taking me in for my required 14 days quarantine by Ghana immigration authorities and turning it into a pleasant and nourishing experience for me. Sweet and serene hotel located at a peaceful, calm and clean neighbourhood not far from the airport. Wonderful room, excellent food and service. Neighbourhood affords you the opportunity to do your outdoor workout while also site seeing if the use of a gym (which is available) is not your thing.

I arrived and wasn’t too impressed because what you see and read online were completely different. For starters, it is not near the airport, it’s a good 30-45mins on a good day, with traffic you’re looking at anything above hour and a half. The road is terrible and dusty. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, you’re not going to walk to the nearest shopping mall/store as it’s over an hour away, believe me I tried it. The staff are jovial and polite but not helpful. Will promise to fix stuff but won’t get to do it, not because they’re busy. Got woken up one night by room service ordered by a different room, was not impressed, doesn’t take a minute to check what room made the order. The website promises free WiFi but you’ll have to sit in reception to get it, which is so slow will only send emails, forget Netflix or video calls. Water and electricity are unreliable, could cut out without warning, did for me in the middle of having a shower, not good. Room is spacious enough but not much of a view from the balcony, there’s a wall about 2 metres from your balcony for you to admire. I know it’s not the Hilton but even for a cheap hotel this is dismal, wouldn’t recommend.

is was our first trip to Ghana and the Fiesta Royale was one of the hotels recommended by the conference I was attending. THIS HOTEL IS SPECTACULAR! The lobby is open and inviting. The desk agents are excellent and will be very helpful with any questions! The ROOM was fantastic. It was VERY clean, there is an electric pot to boil water, a hair dryer and several universal outlets (so if you are coming from the U.S. you do not need to worry about purchasing a converter. At least one bedside stand has a universal plug and there is one in the bathroom. The shower was great (great water pressure and hot water). Cleaning staff was also very helpful. If you are a nervous traveler (and I am!!!!!) this is really a great place for you. Everything is VERY CLEAN. Bottled water is provided in the room daily. I did not eat breakfast but my husband had breakfast every day of our stay and enjoyed fresh made to order omelets, pastry, hot tea, juices, and other standard breakfast items. We were cautious about eating fresh fruit and vegetables, but they were in abundance! We did eat dinner at the hotel most nights. You can order off the menu but we always ordered the buffet. There were many options -a combination so Western foods and traditional Ghanaian foods. The meals were delicious. We enjoyed the servers also who regularly circulated to clear plates and ask for drink orders. (You can order a large bottled water which is enough for four people. Since there was only two of us, we took the remainder to our room for later use. I honestly have no complaints at all about this property. The grounds are really lovely, it has a nice pool (that is rarely busy), the hotel is close to the airport and easily accessible to other downtown locations (with a driver). We would love to return to Ghana and we would look forward to staying at Fiesta Royale!

Wonderful friendly service. Amazing food, great mix of local and western options. It’s a real oasis in the city. My family and I would definitely stay again.

The hotel has excellent accommodation and modern interior designs. All the facilities are top notch. The attendants are welcoming and up to task. I will love to revisit the place over and over again. It has affordable pricing too, especially with the rooms and facilities available.
