Family Hotel Balbi

We stayed one night with my family. It is a historic residence so unfortunately there are three flights of stairs and there is no lift. Which can be inconvenient but the owners are very courteous because they gave us the keys to the warehouse which is located at the entrance of the building so we could leave the stroller. The rooms are very spacious and the fresco on the roof of each room is very nice. It is close to the aquarium and they have contact with a garage where you can leave your car.

We spent 2 nights in a family room. Very pleasant and available staff. The hotel is right in the center of Genoa. We do everything on foot.

Very well managed family-run hotel with only 2 stars (but worth 5 only for the courtesy of the hoteliers). Perfect location in the historic center of Genoa (which is also beautiful), 2 steps from the main train station (Principe), as well as close to the ferry terminal and cruise terminal. The building is old, there is no lift but the stairs are very wide and you don't have to struggle even with very large suitcases. The rooms are large, spacious, clean and with en-suite bathroom. Some rooms also have a vault with frescoes. In the morning breakfast was brought to us in bed even until late in the morning. The staff was very kind, since it was raining on the last day of our stay, they let us not only leave our luggage but we stayed in the room well past the check out time. The concierge is present until late in the evening (it is not only present at night) but in any case the owners live next door. Finally, they were very respectful of the anti-covid rules which unfortunately must be respected in this period. To conclude, an excellent experience. It's a shame that it rained on our last day in Genoa but this certainly wasn't due to the hotel - :) we hope to return soon.

Nos alojamos 1 noche tan solo pero todo fue genial. Habitacion enorme y limpia con baño privado, ubicaciòn en el centro para ir a pie a todo. Dário y Tizziana nos aconsejaron de donde cenar una rica pasta y nos marcaron el tour para conocerlo todo en 1 dia. Parking a 200 m del hotel. Sin duda volveremos!!! Hotel muy cerca de la estación de tren, nosotros veníamos de Milán . Es un edificio antiguo ,con mucho sabor Genovés, en la calle Balbi, La habitación doble genial , grande , limpia ,y todo muy correcto. Es una ciudad muy bonita é interesante. Recomiendo para comer un restaurancito casero, buenísimo con un menú que por supuesto tiene pasta al pesto , que se llama Di Maria...en fin ...unos días encantadores...

Proprio quello che volevamo: essere ospiti in un palazzo storico dove tutte le caratteristiche dell'età non contrastano con un soggiorno confortevole, anche se troppo breve. Potendo ci torneremo... Da segnalare poi anche gentilezza nell'accoglienza e organizzazione!!!

Siamo stati in questo B&B con i miei bambini di 4 e 8 anni..per il ponte di pasqua per visitare Acquario di Genova ,città dei bambini ecc...che dire tutto perfetto ...accoglienza perfetta ,camere pulite ,vicinanza acquario circa 10-15 minuti a piedi ....consigliatissimo ...ottima posizione anche con bar panifici focaccerie ristoranti ecc ....di sicuro se torneremo a Genova torneremo li....
