First of all, we were actually impressed and glad that upon arriving early in the morning with no notice to the hotel, they had our room ready. But then once seeing the room - dirty and stuffy, we weren’t too happy anymore. Food is a buffet, so expectations weren’t high to begin with. It is self served, including beverages. The hotel will provide you a “taxi” company business card and they charge you double what the the local taxi cabs will but won’t tell you anything about how to get a hold of a local taxi. We kept the number of a taxi driver from the airport and stuck with him for the remaining of the trip once we realized that the hotel had no intention of helping us out. I also left behind a pair of earrings of no monetary value, but definitely sentimental, had to check out at 4am for an early flight and I forgot to grab them off the table. I reached out to the hotel via email, since their phone never works, and asked if there was any way the earrings can be returned to me, they never responded. Didn’t surprise me though! Anyways, the beach is gorgeous!!! Only good thing about the whole stay. Definitely would not recommend staying here. But maybe close by due to how beautiful the beach is.

We had an awful at this resort. Despite an apparent refurbishment, which wasn't visible anywhere, this resort was inhospitable, untidy and completely uninclusive! If you don't speak or read Italian, don't waste your time going to this resort. They make no effort to communicate in anything other than Italian, and this applies to all the food descriptions in the restaurants, the entertainment and pretty much everything around the resort. They make no effort to communicate food allergies information which feels completely unacceptable in this day and age. We booked this as a luxury getaway for our wedding anniversary and really regret booking here and wasting our money. As others have said, the rooms and resort are tired and uncared for. We complained a few times about water pressure and this was met with useless platitudes from the Director and reception staff. Definitely will not be returning!

Despite the amazing location and beach, this hotel does not deserve 4 stars! The rooms are old, small and smelly. The quality of the food is poor. The food is not suitable for people on a gluten free diet. Only a positive feedback: the staff working for the kids clubs is kind and nice.

Disgusting food, old fashioned room condition, not deserved 4 star resort. Fine, I understood that it’s a bit outdated place but I chose this resort for beach, baby services(nursery and baby kitchen), and good reviewed restaurants. I don’t know what happened in the kitchen but all photos on here is fake totally and we had awful experience. Nothing to eat! A lot of frozen food, absolute no taste food. Beach restaurant and il gusto are just jokes. It has beautiful beach, and amazing staff. That’s all. Won’t return again and I am afraid of visiting even other bluserena resorts. It’s just shame on Bluserena brand.

To be as objective as possible, let's start from the few pros. The beach is quite nice and most of the staff are extremely kind and do their best to ensure a good stay. Special thanks to Ornella from the restaurant patio (we really miss you), Morgan and Toni (Maitre and Deputy Maitre), Margherita, Alessandra and all the bar staff. The entertainment team is headed by the great Fabio who works round the clock to make guests happy. But...we paid approximately Euro 500 per day (approximately 3000 per week) to get: - a cramped room in desperate need of renovation, very claustrophobic with no window and light only coming from the front door (the "quadruple" "garden" room - where the space if for maximum 2 people and the "garden" are a few blades of grass at the entrance door). Many 2 star hotels have far better rooms; - the WORST POSSIBLE FOOD EVER. You eat far better in many canteens and we still wonder how they managed to find vegetables and fruit tasting like platic in full summer in Sardinia. Many guests complained about the quality of food and allegedly this is due to a change in the kitchen staff. However, it was totally unacceptable and it was pretty clear that they were buying the cheapest possible raw material (Emmenthal cheese in Sardinia! Frozen burgers, tasteless ricotta...); - the "thematic restaurants" are in reality inexistent. "Gusto" (supposedly their "gourmet" restaurant) is a bunch of chair next to the reception desk, with pre-heated horrible food wich is clearly made of the left-overs of the main canteen restaurant. The beach restaurant is a joke: a small barbecue with a few pieces of sausage and reallty little more on offer, a tiny salad bar and some sliced fruit. - endless queues everywhere. We had to stay in line for anything: food, drinks, beach towels, trips. The management tries to justify it with Covid-related measures. In reality, this is just due to an evident understaffing. Covid measures are a joke: sunbeds on the beach are very little distanced, there are crowdings and queues everywhere and they take your temperature only when you go to the restaurant for breakfast (apparently the virus doesn't like lunch and dinner times). Very stressful and absolutely unacceptable for this price tag, even during peak season in August; - totally inadequate reception staff. Most of them are very junior trainees who dont' have a clue about pretty much anything (and many of them are not locals, hence unfamiliar with the area); - absence of a facility manager/resort director. Many guests wanted to complain about many aspects but were redirected to junior trainees; - ridiculous organization for payments: you can only pay for drinks with the top up card you get at reception (and any included drinks are only visible on 1 card). All the rest is to be paid CASH!!! We were asked to pay CASH for car rentals (130 a day for a Opel Corsa, super overpriced), trips, horse riding, towel deposit, etc...); - the swimming pools and most of the resort faci

We spent 1 week at the Bluserena resort in Calaserena (Sardinia), but overall we were disappointed with the resort, especially compared to other similar 4 stars we have been to. 1. The organisation was messy and sometimes overly-complicated: although some was partly due to Covid measures, in general we felt that they were poorly organised for example the check in process (you have to do 2 queues, one to “register”, one to check in), the main restaurant (multiple queues for different food and they don’t even give you a tray to carry your plates, that can be a lot especially when you have kids), and even the payment method doesn’t make any sense (you need to use a special pre-charged card to pay for drinks etc, which you can top up with cash or card at the very place where you get the drinks from…what’s the point?! but you cannot use it everywhere, I.e. the shop in the piazza); the swimming pool closes between 1pm and 3pm, so the staff can have (a 2 hours!!) break, then it shuts again at 6.30pm… And finally they ask people to “check out” the day before you leave and to return the pre-paid card; I Went to the reception the day prior to my departure and they told me there was nothing more to pay for, and said I could keep the card until the last day, but then they phone me back 1 hour later to tell me they actually forgot about some extras I had to pay so I had to make a second trip to the reception ….not a big deal but still annoying. 2. The structure felt “dated” and not always well looked after: the ground floor rooms don’t have any windows (especially in the bathroom, not even an extractor fan) and not even a door to separate the spaces if sleeping more than 2; the public toilets (especially the ones in the main restaurant) stink so bad that not even my 6 years old wanted to go in then; the swimming pool is frankly disappointing as it gets dirty quite quickly, particularly the kids one; the beach plus umbrella and beds not really worth paying extra for (beds are just different in colour and the umbrellas don’t give you any actual extra shade….) And finally, Il Gusto restaurant is just the space behind the reception where you do the registration on arrival….not really a “fancy” alternative to the main cantine!! 3. Entertainment: The beach is NOT a relaxing place, as there are constantly group games Lead by an entertainer who uses a very loud microphone and if you’re that unlucky to sit in first row (which you pay extra for), they come and take over some of your space to play the games and loud music….a total nightmare of you want to relax; Even the evening shows are frankly quite poor and definitely not worth a 4 star resort… we even found mini club for kids not great, some of the staff doesn’t look they can be really bothered and the activities are not always fun and thought through (my kids hated it!) 4. They sometimes enforce rules on people (I.e. you have to wear a head cuff in the pool, you have just short of 1 hour to have your meal

Excellent structure, wonderful culinary offer, beautiful location. decidedly obsolete rooms to be modernized to align with the price as, speaking with other guests, the common opinion is that the rooms are definitely not up to par. We come to your flagship, the Babyclub. I deliver my daughter, 4 years old, who also asked for lunch. she enters at 9, we look at her and the assistants pass in front of her as if it were transparent: we count 5 minutes while we stand at the gate since they were registering the other first entries. I look out to say it and finally they "see" her, take her by the hand and accompany her, we had also taken the clothes. An hour later my wife goes by on her way to the bar and sees her still dressed and motionless watching other children already dressed playing, all while one of the girls (the one with curly hair and a little more robust) passes by her like no existed. to which we decided to withdraw it and NEVER bring it again. Considering that my daughter can't wait to go to kindergarten in the morning, I think you should consider the hypothesis, especially with the little ones since you start from 3 years old, to increase the threshold of attention towards the youngest . I GUARANTEE WE HAVE TALKED TO MANY PARENTS OF PEERS WHO HAVE SOMETHING SIMILAR HAPPENED. Obviously the speech changes from 7/8 years onwards. I give you free advice, given that you make it your business card and that not everyone sees the baby club as a simple parking lot.

It all depends on what you are looking for from the holiday. If the beach is enough, a bit of entertainment, eating discreetly is fine. If you also want to leave the village, go to a bar, a tobacco shop, a pharmacy, etc. THERE IS NOTHING. non-existent services. There is a rent by appoin**ent but very expensive. Cagliari and Villasimius are 45 minutes away by car. It's fine for children, if they can get into the entertainment, but absolutely not for young, mature, elderly couples. Lodgings are similar to bungalows, quite distant from the central body. Everyone chooses the holiday they prefer. It's a place for children, not for adults.

This hotel does not deserve 4 stars. The rooms are small, old and musty. Window can only be opened in the bathroom. Clima is from the previous century. You are seated at a table with other guests. Hygiene is a foreign word. The food is reminiscent of inferior canteen food. Drinks for children are an impertinence. Otherwise there is water and wine... Staff stressed and unsympathetic... Complex and beach are OK. Absolutely not recommended.
