Hyatt Place Memphis Germantown

The rooms only have showers and it does not close so water goes everywhere including soaking the carpet in the bedroom area causing mold. Fixtures fall apart. Ac unit right next to bed loud and cold.

This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel. We chose this one because of its cleanliness,location and comfort and professional staff.

A bit rundown facility. Noisy AC, light near washing basin is not reliable - gfci needs to be reset every time . Location is good, though. Stuff is helpful and breakfast is fine.

Check in was fast. The room was spacious with lots of amenities. The bed was very comfortable.

Great hotel that needs work. Breakfast not up to standards of a hotel like this. But still a nice stay.

only serviced the Room every three days. location was excellent

We were very pleased with our accommodations. The only issue was the housekeeping only came in one time during our 4 night stay. We were able to go to the front desk and get fresh towels without any issue. The hotel note said that all unhung towels would be replaced and they were not. Location was great for us.

Upon arrival and check in, I was given an accessible room which I did not request. The front desk staff made a snide comment about not setting off the fire alarms which seemed biased...I was trying to figure out what about me gave off the impression that I smoked. Their policy stated that on the 3rd full day of stay, your room would be cleaned. I stayed 4 and my room was not cleaned. I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty, Trey, and he simply said " I apologize". He didn't offer fresh towels or anyone to come and take trash out or tidy the room...I had to ask for fresh towels. Lastly after leaving the property, I left my house keys and called the hotel back to confirm they were there. I asked several times what was the protocol to have the keys shipped to me. The front desk staff stated the manager would be in contact. A manager never called and I ended up calling the next day to discover my keys were mailed. I then asked again about a tracking number or if signature was required for the packaged to be received. The front desk person, Sheanna, only stated the manager had taken care of the manner. The next day I discovered Hyatt/Germantown had charged my debit card without permission to mail my keys. Granted, yes I left my keys. But I asked several times the protocol for the keys to be mailed. It was wrong and deceiving for Hyatt/Germantown to charge my card without speaking with me first. Never will I stay at this location.
