I stayed at the roadside station. It is an inn in a day trip hot spring. The front desk was bad, and even if I said the name, I tried to process it by mistake for different people, and I was asked to read the guide for the inn. I was given the locker key, but I didn't know which bath locker was with 2, and when I called, a different person came out and the response was not good. Also, I was told at check-in that I would call later because the restaurant was not decided, but the phone didn't come. After the meal time passed, the meal attendant came to call the room. The bath for guests in the indoor bath and the bedrock bath on the second floor are not hot springs. Breakfast was from 8 o'clock, so I couldn't enter slowly in the morning. The room was already covered with futons. The room and washroom area were all barrier-free and clean rooms. Supper was the top Agano Gozen course (6600 yen if you ask for a single item). I had it in a Japanese-style room with only two sets, but except for rice miso soup dessert, everything was lined up on the table, including tempura. In terms of content, it was the standard content of the inn, such as sashimi and chawanmushi. It was good that the half body of the crab was processed easily to eat. It was a meal on tatami mats in a Japanese-style room, so it seemed to be painful for me. I ordered sake because it was 1680 yen for Kirinzan traditional dry 21 degrees (original sake 720cc). It was a delicious sake. Breakfast was served at the dining room of the day trip hot spring from 8 o'clock. It was set on the table from around 6:30. The side dishes were only small bowls with a very light taste, such as cherry blossoms, natto and seaweed. * and only rice can be replaced. Although the inn fee was high, there were too few side dishes. Yasuda's yogurt drink was served on the table with children. It seems that the breakfast for children was exactly the same as for adults. It seems that many people eat at this inn at the dining room of the day trip hot spring even if they stay. I feel that the cost performance is better. There was no hospitality and it was not a relaxing inn.

The overall staff was very welcoming and the food was very rich, especially the rice was especially delicious. Very recommended hotel, if you go to this hotel by tram, you can call the hotel to Maxia or Nianhua Station to wait, you can pick up and drop off for free.

A very cost-effective hotel, has a history of 147 years, is the earliest Western-style hotel in Niigata, and still maintains a high level today. Stayed during the Changgang Fireworks Conference, the price is higher than usual, but quality service, convenient transportation and delicious meals still make people feel good value for money. It takes 4 stops to take the bus to Niigata Station. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the bus station. You can also walk from the underground street with a very historical feeling. It is very cool in summer. It is 1000 yen to take a taxi to the train station. There are many temples and shrines around the hotel, as well as the old sites of the consulates in the countries of the year, 8 minutes walk from the Niigata Art Museum. From the hotel room you can see the Sea of Japan directly and walk to the beach for a quarter of an hour. Going out is the famous Huajie in Niigata, restaurants, pubs and clubs are all around. The hotel has a very rich breakfast, curry rice, omelet and yogurt are very good. The Marco Polo Restaurant and the Sapporo Restaurant are great, and there is a famous Chinese restaurant. The room bath is pola, the bath salt is DHC. Very characteristic is the quilt cover, is made with Japanese and paper fiber, very comfortable.

My family and travelled to Niigata at the end of April 2023 and had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Okura Niigata. Prior to the trip, I had reached out to them via email to inquire about coordinating a van + driver for us (6 of us) so that we could go visit some sake breweries and to make dinner reservations for us at a nearby restaurant. The concierge team was amazing and booked a large van (jumbo taxi) and driver for the day. they also ensured that the van could accommodate a folding wheelchair for one group member that needed it. The van and driver arrived on time and was quite reasonably priced. Great experience that was made possible by the hotel team! Upon return to the hotel, we realized we had left some items on the van - the hotel called the taxi company and coordinated the return of our items. Beyond these experiences, the hotel itself is a bit older but rooms are comfortable and fairly spacious for a hotel room in Japan. Location is great and the breakfast buffet was one of the better ones we had on this trip. If I should ever travel back to Niigata, I will most definitely be staying here. The hotel and team won my business by going above and beyond...even for Japan standards of customer service! Domo arigatogozaima****a!!!

When I was traveling to Niigata, I visited Shinran brothers and sisters. I decided that this hotel was very good for my parents to disturb me a long time ago. This time, I stayed with half board per night (30,000 yen / person: 3 people). Overall it was a recommended hotel. ＜ Good points ＞ The lobby was very spacious 々 and had a very impact. The room with an open-air bath that was renewed in April 2022 was very fashionable and beautiful. And from the window of the salon space, I was able to enjoy the view of the vast garden. Also, the open-air bath was good. The windows were cleaned cleanly (Kagaya was terrible). In the lobby, I was able to drink coffee, tea sweets and even alcohol for free at night. The bath is large, and there are 4 types of open-air hot spring baths, so I was able to enjoy the hot springs. The dressing room had bath towels, face towels and shavings, which was convenient. The cherry blossom dinner was delicious with a lot of items and all of them were handmade dishes. I had a salt-grilled nodocro, but I personally like sashimi that can taste a trot. The breakfast venue was beautiful, and the walls were projected with trees and other objects. (However, the video sense was one step now.) The breakfast buffet had a large number of items. It was interesting to have a corner where you can make waffles and pizza yourself. ＜ Disappointing points ＞ It was a pity that the tatami mats in the dinner room were quite dirty. At the time of the cherry blossom dinner, the beef for shabu-shabu was served from the beginning. When I thought I would eat it immediately, it was more than an hour later and the pot was on fire. For this reason, the meat was a little dry.

I booked a deluxe room for 3 adults and 1 child 11 years old. I was asked to bring one extra bed and the amenities for four people. There were only 3 sets of bath towels and face towels, so I asked for one, and they were very responsive and delivered quickly. It was one of my most memorable trips with my family, so I'm very satisfied. Since it's not within easy reach, I had a very comfortable stay for two nights.

I used this hotel using GoTo travel this time, but this price is cheap with breakfast even at the original value. The room is clean and comfortable. The bed is large and the table is a little size to work. The parking lot is also free and large, so you can use it with peace of mind.
