Sapporo Hotels with Gym

Amazing hotel and a great base for exploring Sapporo. The hotel feels quite new, with modern, polished rooms and excellent amenities. The rooms have everything you need, including great air conditioning, a really nice shower, reliable Wi-Fi, and a smart TV with Netflix. The location is fantastic, right beside Susukino Station, with an airport limousine bus stop also nearby. It’s very convenient whether you’re exploring Sapporo itself or using the city as a base for day trips. The breakfast was really nice with a good variety, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sapporo. Great location, comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and very good value.

This hotel is in a great location in central Sapporo, just opposite the Old Red Brick Government Building. Daimaru is only a 10-minute walk away, while Tanukikoji Shopping Street (Susukino) is around 15–20 minutes away on foot. You can walk directly between Odori Park and Susukino. Useful facilities include private parking, a laundry room, and a microwave for heating food. We had a pleasant and convenient stay here.

I have to praise the room; it was really spacious, and the bathroom was huge too. Although there wasn't a separate hot spring bath, I guess that's not standard in a city hotel. The parking lot was a bit small, but there was a dedicated attendant who guided me to a spot. All in all, Marriott quality never disappoints.

The most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hotel. We had some of the best sleep during our stay. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows and soft, high-quality linens. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and very well soundproofed, with lots of space to store luggage and personal items, plus many useful amenities. The entire hotel has a modern, clean design and is kept in excellent condition. The staff were very kind, professional, and spoke English, which made everything easy. They even provided umbrellas free of charge when it rained, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel bar also deserves a mention. The service was excellent, the drinks were very good, and the parfaits were delicious. Since parfaits are very popular locally in Sapporo, I definitely recommend trying one here. The location is convenient too: just a short walk from Susukino and the Sapporo city center, close to the station by a few metro stops, and easy to reach by taxi. Overall, this Marriott was a real gem. Because of such a pleasant experience here, I’ll definitely consider staying at other Marriott Courtyard hotels in the future.

Stayed for 10 nights in total, not sure why toilet never smelled like it’d been cleaned before. Used cups and glasses were not washed and received a morning call on 12th June 2026 from front desk asking when they can come and clean the room but the room was not cleaned at the end of the day. - Staff were inexperienced and stingy about Accor membership benefits (effectively no Accor benefit at all)

Great stay of family of 4. Room consider big in Japan. Location ia great as near to susukino/Tanukikoki/Park. And stay during the Hokkaido Shrine festive, happening near the hotel. Room overall is clean but toilet with a stale smell.  If visit Sapporo, will stay here again. Thanks

I almost gave it a perfect score - gave location only a 4 because there is no subway station nearby. But there is a bus stop for both local buses and the airport limousine. The hotel has a vintage feel but it was clean and the service was really superb. We were given a comfortable room for the three of us. Breakfast options were the same everyday except for the soup. It would have been nice if there was a variety for the fruits and desserts.

Right around the corner from Metro Exit 4. When you walk in, you might think it's a bar, but it's actually the front desk. Check-in and check-out are self-service. There were four or five staff members behind the bar, chatting non-stop. They didn't bother to assist or guide guests checking in. The room was very clean and well-arranged, with a sofa. It was missing a luggage rack, but the window insulation was excellent. There's a rooftop bathhouse with outdoor hot tubs, and a beautiful cherry blossom tree in full bloom.

Hotel is conveniently located 200m from the airport limo bus stop. Lots of eateries, shopping and entertainment at its door step. Set back is it is rather dated, and rooms are small, in particular the bathroom, which is only slightly bigger than a 6 foot table!

Bed is rock hard. After 4 nights, I have serious back ache, plus I'm lacking in sleep, due to how hard and uncomfortable the bed was. The pool facility wasn't fully open (it only does so in August). The last week in July at least opens the some of the outside area for use, but it doesn't fully open until August. They'd also made the 25m outside pool a wipeout/ninja obstacle course so, if you want to actually swim [do some lengths etc] then the only place you can do this was initially only open in August and even then it is now taken over by an obstacle. The indoor sections are open all year round. You have to pay extra to access the slides - not too crazy at 500 or 600yen depending on the day for unlimited access (you're given a wristband). Breakfast was ok. Wide variety of foods - some of which I wouldn't normally associate with breakfast, but still nice to have choices. Signage claims it gets busy after 8am. This is definitely not true - it's busy when it first opens at 7am and then slowly gets quieter over the 7~10 opening times (last entry at 9:30). Can't speak about weekends tho. Shuttle bus is busiest at the 5pm time slot. Overall, a ”resort” that claims to be 4 stars it most certainly isn't. 2 stars yes. 2.5 maybe. But the whole place just feels quite dated and far from the luxury expected from a ”4 star hotel”. Apart from the bed as I've already mentioned, the room was a good enough size but all the decor and controls were old. The Aircon control was worn and glitchy (button presses would turn it off etc) but at least it worked and made the room the temp we wanted. The lighting panel has had so many changes there are stickers on it to blank out buttons which no longer function - fair enough, but maybe spend a bit of money on a decent upgrade??? This hotel isn't cheap!
