It is lovely to stay in Old Post Office, Halifax. The location is very close to the railway station and Woolshops Shopping Center, also the Halifax Bus Station and Sainsbury's. They are very warm and helpful. I will come again as I come to visit Halifax again!

The hotel is ideally situated in walking distance to most shops and the town centre.
It is not flashy and areas of the hotel are a little outdated but it was ideal for what I needed whilst visiting Halifax. The bed was comfy and the staff are super
friendly! I instantly felt welcome and very comfortable to ask for assistance if I needed it.
I would stay at The Old Post Office again.
Top tip: if you are a solo traveler and rooms are not showing as available, then phone The Old Post Office directly. I was told the rates are £48 per night for solo travelers.

The only slightly disconcerting thing was all the signs saying don't do ***** in the hotel... but it was a lovely, quiet, well appointed room. The Manager was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

I was happy that i was on the first floor lets say as i had 10 steps to get up and this is hard with a knee injury. The room was basic and had all i needed for the night. Only gripe was check out was 10am should be an option for late check out. Thank you

Bathroom had a strong mold smell. Bed was uncomfortable. Bar closed early. Hotel manager was wonderful

The actual building is used as a sports training venue for both young and adults. Very secure parking and finding a decent restaurant facility in the area might be a bit of a search. Very clean and accommodating. Very close to the Motorway 411 and so clear run to Luxembourg.

was lovely little place to stay in and Jackie was lovely :) really good service. nice clean room with a comfy bed as well as tea and coffee to make in the rooms. absolutely no complaints

Jackie is a great host, and Jess is a great barmaid. Very welcoming.
Limited parking at the back. Rooms & check-in are accessed through the back door. Double door security to rooms.
Some rooms require lengthy climbs of stairs.
Room was well furnished with TV, miniature shower gel & shampoo, kettle, tea/coffee/sugar/milk & towel. Sockets aren't always convenient, so bring an extension lead. Sink in bedroom.
Shared seperate toilet and shower room both clean & serviceable.
Pub is friendly when it's open - ask at check-in to find out when it's likely to open/close during your stay. Beer is in good form, reasonable variety.

I don't think this should be called a hotel, it shouldn't be on **********, but I understand these places need to exist, on my arrival, the communal bathroom door, was hanging off, my bed sheets had stains, but the staf are very friendly
