GGuest UserI booked this hotel for a concert, without much thought at the time, just wanting something close to attractions and the subway. My stay completely exceeded expectations! The room was spacious and spotless, incredibly quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. It was fully smart-controlled, which my kids found really cool. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly patient and kind – looking back, it was a truly comfortable experience. Nanluoguxiang itself isn't particularly exciting, similar to Chengdu's Kuanzhai Alley. But if you have enough time and aren't rushing to see sights, exploring the various small hutongs from here is a delightful surprise. You immediately get a sense of Beijing's unique charm, and can leisurely stroll to Houhai, Beihai, and other spots. Many great food options are within walking distance too. If you're a fan of 'wmls,' the old Beijing pancake shop is super close (my first stop in Beijing was to grab some pancakes!). The hotel has a small gate, and a bus stop is just a few minutes' walk away. I found taking the bus much more convenient than the subway, though we only took one route from Beihai Park to the hotel. It had seats and passed by the Gate of Divine Might. It's a shame my itinerary didn't allow for a Forbidden City visit this time, but I'll definitely be back. Plus, there are lots of eateries near the bus stop. If you're tired of the generic tourist snacks in Nanluoguxiang, try exploring that street for food. Interestingly, this traditional-style hotel had a lot of motorcycles (they looked expensive!), which I'm guessing is the owner's personal touch – a bit funny and endearing. Finally, I want to praise the hotel staff again. Every single one, even the gentleman collecting trash at the small gate, was wonderful. Everyone was gentle and considerate. All in all, I'm so glad I chose Manxin Mansion.

HHaibiandeshanchahuaExceeded my expectations! The location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around, and there are tons of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself has a great ambiance, with tasteful and high-quality decor. What really stood out was how friendly and service-oriented all the staff members were. They even offer unlimited complimentary bottled water, snacks, and drinks, which really gives it a luxury hotel feel. I've saved this place and will definitely be back!

GGuest UserFor this friends' gathering, we wanted to experience a traditional courtyard hotel. We chose the Waldorf Astoria over the Aman, and it was an excellent experience! The room was very new and spacious, and the courtyard was beautiful. All the staff were incredibly thoughtful. Before check-in, our dedicated butler, Amber, contacted us to ask if we needed any anniversary decorations and about our bedding preferences. We arrived quite early, and our room wasn't ready yet, so they kindly prepared a room for us in the main building to rest. They guided us through the entire process, and the service was incredibly detailed and attentive, giving us a fantastic first impression right from check-in. For breakfast, we opted for room service. The variety was extensive, with American, Continental, Chinese, and even low-fat options. Staff member Will also provided very attentive service. The hotel even offered a complimentary travel photography service. Although it was raining, the photographer (a young man named Yueqian) found great spots, and the photos turned out natural and beautiful. While taking photos in the courtyard, we met another staff member, Judy, who was very enthusiastic. She gave us many tips on photo locations and also told us about fun places to visit in Beijing. If we weren't heading to Universal Studios, we would have loved to stay a few more days. The overall experience was excellent, and I'd love to bring my parents here next time.

GGuest UserEr had five great days at this lovely courtyard house hotel, which immediately felt like a home away from home! Everything and everyone were so friendly and welcoming. When leaving the hotel for the railway station our payment did not work and Linyan was extremely helpful and solution oriented- thanks again! TTESIA.LIUOur family had such a wonderful and relaxing vacation at the Puxun Hotel this May! The grounds are lush and green, offering refreshing views and excellent air quality. The hotel's activities, like garden tours, Sutra copying, and ancient building explanations, were plentiful and meaningful. Our kids also loved playing at the park and in the hot springs. The room amenities were comfortable, with both the shower and bathtub being very practical. The Nespresso machine and Chinese tea were thoughtful touches. The front desk service was warm and attentive, with efficient check-in and patient, detailed explanations of the activities. Overall, it was a perfect experience, highly recommended for families traveling with children!

GGuest UserI brought my parents and children to Changping for two days during the Qingming Festival. This hotel was collected before. The room price is affordable, and it feels that there are not many guests staying. The standard room is much larger than the king-size bed room, the refrigerator has free drinks, and the room service is enthusiastic. Facilities: slightly old, the mattress and pillow are soft, not very friendly to people with bad cervical vertebrae and spine. There is a fault in the reading light, and the shower head leaks water, resulting in insufficient water pressure. The toilet has a serious odor. The toilet has a smart toilet seat. The free area on TV has rich resources. Environment: There is construction opposite the hotel, and parking at the roadside at the entrance of the hotel will not be ticketed. There is also a humming sound of construction at night. Restaurant: Cantonese restaurant is highly recommended, the breakfast buffet included in the room is exquisite and rich, and it is free for children under 12 years old. On the first night, Dianping Group ordered a meal for 4 people. There were examples of dishes and soups that were very upscale. The pig intestines and beef were very delicious. The chef won an award in 2024. The green beans are a bit bitter.
