I had a great time here. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional and provided excellent customer service. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. The hotel also offers delicious dining options, and the breakfast is very generous. Conveniently located near public transport and shopping centres. The hotel sits in the industrials area of Kowloon East so it’s not close to the metro or major bus stops. Well, given this room rate, you need to pay an effort to walk for about 7 minutes to the major bus stops. There’s also no restaurant nearby so make sure you get takeaway or eat before you return to the hotel area. The hotel room decor is of modern light industrial style with a nice choice of tones of colours of the wall and furniture. Amenities are rather new. However, there are two things that make the stay experience a little disappointing. There’re areas in the room that harbour dust, especially the bathroom door, the table top above the refrigerator and some parts of the wall. Your clothing items would collect if you accidentally place anything there. What stunned me was that they were strict or I would say stingy about giving bottled water to guests, which I have never experienced in any hotel in Hong Kong. At other hotels I’ve stayed in, I can ask for extra bottled water when I needed or they had filtered water dispensers installed in the corridor. (Foreign travellers must pay attention that not all water pipes that lead to the tap are clean and some could have unwanted metal deposits. At Camlux they provided only two 700+ ml bottles of water and each extra bottle comes at $12.

Will not stay here again. Whilst, the hotel itself would be okay for a nights crash - I had an awful experience. On my floor, there were several people throughout the night who were gathering in the hallway and arguing, talking/shouting and slamming doors. The walls are so thin you can hear every movement. I didn’t sleep at all because of the noise.

It was very cold at night as it is central air-conditioning. You cannot shut down the air-conditioning as the room control cannot turn it off. The only way is to ask for an additional blanket. The room service is not clearly indicated on the telephone set, even the woman on the front desk at night services couldn't tell the room guests how to operate, she just asked the guests to follow instructions at room but actually there is none of the guide found. Only the front desk on day services can tell to dial '0' to call room service. It was ridiculous! The so called family room is only adding one narrow bed slided out from another bed on the top when it is needed at night.

Highly recommend for families travellers to stay here as they have a relatively big room compared to others hotel in HK and they have 2 queen beds in the room! Overall I had a great experience staying here, it was quite clean and the hotel staffs were really helpful. It’s also a good location as it’s just above the Moko shopping mall and the mongkok east lrt! Would definitely stay here again next time!

We had a wonderful stay at Metropark Hotel Mongkok, spending a night with our family. We booked the deluxe room, it is small as typical hk 4 stars hotels. When we got the room, the toilet bowl wasn’t clean, some poop spots there, called the service, they said will come and clean but we left the room around 45 mins, the housekeeping hasn’t arrived. The next morning, I called service for 5 times then they picked up. Otherwise the location is in the heart of mongkok, is consider good but due to the slow economy of HK now, many shops around there closes early as compared to the prime time before covid. The Ming Court is still good, can go there for their dim sums and Cantonese food. The ground floor staffs are good, helpful and able to help us in where we wana go by getting taxi for us. The Hollywood cafe nearby serves very nice condensed milk butter buns.

Excellent Hotel! The room was very comfortable and quite spacious. Everything quite clean. The hotel staff was quite friendly. I think it needs a little maintenance, but overall it is very good. The metro/train station is very close. There are many local restaurants in the area where you can eat well. The price-quality ratio is very good. Recommended.
