The lobby was clean and somewhat vacant, and they gave us a handicap room for some reason. It didn’t appear to have many staying there, we saw very few people.
We were there only one night so didn’t bother to go back to desk for reassignment. Shower drained to center of bathroom so floor was always icky in the bathroom. The lights were on, but seemed dark as well.
It seemed expensive for this odd experience.

We had a confirmed reservation at 5:30 pm Texas time. When we arrived to check in, we were met by the manager with a letter at the check in desk, the gist of which was the management team decided my family and I were NOT staying at the Courtyard and we were rebooked into the Radisson down the street, which was NOT the Courtyard! The three people ahead of me in line were checked in, but you had time to compose a letter for me?? Instead of two queen beds, it was one bed and a sofa!! Also my reservation was prepaid and was Jan. 24-25. My family and I were in a strange city after dark. What the hell is going on and what are you going to do about it?? Had I known sooner, I could have booked a place I wanted to stay at.

Room was comfy and quiet on the 15th floor. The linens were crisp and yet soft. The bed had an array of pillows in different firmnesses.
I was in town at a time there was a heavy freeze in Houston. The room stayed warm and fortuantly did not lose power.
The bistro was not open on Sunday, which may have been because of the potential of inclement weather. There are a few places within walking distance for food, but not in a low price range. A steakhouse, sushi, restaurant, and a burger restaurant that was not open on Sunday either.
Staff was friendly and attentive. I was greeted with the smile each time I walked through the lobby.
There is on site parking garage at an additional cost. Uber and taxis are easily accessible in the area also. It's very close to A large shopping mall, Houston Galleria.

It was not so close to the Galleria as the name suggests,
and the hotel staff was not polite when I complained about the room.

Very clean, staff were extremely helpful and friendly only downside was the gym was smaller than my room with limited equipment - needless to say in the mornings it was full with no space to workout.

I think it Will be more convinient having more shifts at the Bistro Bar. At least offering coffee and some beverages when it's not open for food.
