"I had an absolutely wonderful stay here, and I want to give my highest praise to our butler Yanyan. She is incredibly gentle, professional and thoughtful from check-in to check-out. The room is beautiful, clean and comfortable with a stunning city view. Thanks to Yanyan’s sincere and considerate service, my trip became perfect and unforgettable. "Stayed here as a couple and overall had a nice experience, with a few things to keep in mind. The best part is definitely the location. The hotel is inside the village itself, which is beautiful—lots of places to eat, very photogenic, and a really nice mix of nature and sea. Just walking around the village is already an experience. Big plus that the stay includes access to the sauna. If you’re planning to go anyway, it’s worth it since the sauna alone is around €20 per person. So if your plan is to enjoy the village during the day and end at the sauna, it makes sense. On the downside, the room and bathroom feel more like a 3-star hotel and don’t fully match the price. Also, the hotel is quite far from the entrance. At check-in they drive you to the room, but at checkout you either have to walk back or pay for a ride, which felt a bit inconvenient. One thing to note: even though I booked everything through Trip.com, they still asked for a deposit using local payment methods that weren’t available to me (no Chinese bank). In the end, I managed to pay the deposit in cash, but it’s something to be aware of. Overall, you’re mainly paying for the location and the sauna experience rather than the room itself."

"We booked a 30 sqm king room with a 1.8m king-size bed, which felt incredibly spacious and comfortable for sleeping. The room had two windows, one large and one small, providing excellent overall natural light. The bathroom, toilet, and sink were separated, meaning you had to step out of the toilet area to wash your hands, which took a little getting used to at first. This room is definitely a great choice for couples. The service truly deserves extra points. When we were checking in, the front desk staff noticed we had been standing for a while and proactively offered us water, which was a very thoughtful gesture. On the first day, we also received complimentary cocktail vouchers that could be redeemed at the rooftop bar for drinks, allowing us to enjoy the night view and the two pools – the atmosphere was fantastic. The breakfast selection was extensive, with coffee, milk, and juice available. The overall taste was more refined than typical hotel breakfasts; you could tell they put effort into it. Every evening, they would proactively message us to ask if we needed extra milk, showing great attention to service details. The laundry service was also highly efficient; we’d hand clothes over in the morning before heading out, and they’d be hanging on our door by the time we returned in the evening. The front desk staff were generally very accommodating and had an excellent service attitude, which is particularly commendable. The hotel's overall facilities and decor are very new, with an elegant and sophisticated style. It felt convenient, comfortable, and had a touch of warmth during our stay."

"📸 Stayed two days at the Indigo Chongqing Liangjiang New Area. 🌅 Must-shoot spots in public areas: The pool at dusk is incredible, with the city lights reflecting during the blue hour. The corridor outside the lounge plays with light and shadow, and the green vintage-style corridor on the first floor is packed with retro vibes. 🏠 The room is absolutely stunning: The floor-to-ceiling window directly faces the Qianximen Bridge, perfect for capturing river views during the day and Hongyadong's nightscape in the evening. Fill the bathtub, take a mirror selfie with the projector screen as a backdrop – the ambiance is perfectly set. 🌱 The laundry room also offers self-service, a thoughtful detail. Living in the clouds and watching Chongqing is a reason to come back again!"

"Staying at this hotel felt like being on cloud nine! ☁️ After visiting Eling Park and Liziba during the day, I returned to the hotel to find a quiet and peaceful environment, a true oasis amidst the city's hustle and bustle. The hotel boasts a modern, minimalist, yet luxurious design, with wooden elements complemented by soft lighting. The room was spacious, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered a direct view of the city's greenery. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the toiletries were well-stocked. The amenities were excellent. The gym had expansive views and a full range of equipment, allowing me to enjoy the city scenery while working out. Breakfast offered a rich variety, including both Chinese and Western options. They even had freshly made Chongqing noodles, along with fresh fruits, bread, and pastries. The front desk service was also very attentive."

"This hotel is really comfortable; once I checked in, I didn't want to leave. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and I slept like a baby until I woke up naturally. The blackout curtains were amazing. They really paid attention to the details; everything I needed was in the room and easily accessible. Most importantly, it was incredibly quiet. Once the door was closed, it felt like the outside world was shut off, allowing me to truly relax and recharge."

"The hotel has a wonderful garden-style environment with lush greenery all around, which is very pleasant to look at. The rooms have small dryers, perfect for drying small clothes, which is very convenient. There are also robots that deliver takeaways right to your room. The front desk service is excellent too, really great."

"The Banyan Tree Chongqing Beibei is located right within the Old North Hot Spring Park, a place famous for its 'Ba Mountains Night Rain' and as the 'Homeland of Hot Springs.' It's a must-visit, especially for the ancient North Hot Springs, which is surrounded by lush greenery and a thousand-year-old hot spring temple. It offers a very serene and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and clearing your mind. The private hot spring on the room's balcony is incredibly comfortable and great for alleviating fatigue. Owen provided exceptional service. The hotel's design is very distinctive, with every room offering views of the Jialing River."

"The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and the bedding was excellent. The hotel service was also good. However, the hotel's layout is very peculiar and it's easy to get lost. You have to take different elevators to reach your room, and getting to the laundry room and restaurant is also extremely inconvenient. If you try to find them yourself, it's almost impossible. Even catching a taxi was a hassle. The hotel's breakfast was quite poor, with not many options. Overall, the experience was not good, very inconvenient, and I wouldn't highly recommend this hotel."

"Went there for the outdoor pool. It was clean and best of all mostly empty. It is located on the fifth floor rooftop. There’s no real place to sunbathe, but they do have a lot of patio seating. They also have the gym nearby and an area for laundry, lockers and showers. There was a lovely check in attendant who spoke English and went above and beyond every time we needed help. She helped hook up my laptop to the television so we could watch movies. So grateful! The rooms were clean and everything still looks well maintained and new. It was a great place for a staycation in Chongqing. Just a few things to note: the mini fridge in the room doesn’t chill things at all. There are four free drinks included (soft drinks, juice). There was a small fruit bowl, but we didn’t eat anything. The breakfast has limited western options, but of course we expected that since this is a Chinese hotel. Eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal. That’s it. They do have Chinese breakfast options, but didn’t try them. We didn’t try the dining options available at the hotel so can’t comment. Overall, it was a great place to stay. I would recommend it as a nice, clean and new hotel for visitors coming to CQ and staying in the Palm Springs area."
