Zoetry Villa Rolandi Isla Mujeres Cancun

We loved this place! It is the best parts of all inclusive travel without the crowds, long walks to the water and generic food. We loved the small, quiet a**osphere, beautiful views, attentive staff and food beyond compare. It was also nice to be able to easily leave the resort and explore the island. We quickly realized though we would rather just stay at the resort! The golf carting was fun but downtown was very touristy and didn’t offer much of interest. Punta Sur was a fun stop as well as the little beaches along the way. Transfer to the hotel was perfect. We didn’t have to wait hours on a mega bus to get to Dreams and the boat was waiting for us when we got there. We had to take the ferry for our return but the front desk staff took care of everything so it was easy. We did the sunset cruise and it was a great little outing. Our only complaint was the birds who woke us up in the morning and tried to steal our sugar packages at breakfast but what can you do. Our rooms we totally fine, no issues. We brought our own wine and bought some at the grocery store in town. The house wine wasn’t great but not the worst I’ve had at an all inclusive. The food and service at both restaurants was the best resort food I’ve ever had. I hope we can go back someday!

Room overall was clean and comfortable- though linens could use updating and curtains need replacing (holes in them). It was clearly redecorated fairly recently and looks very nice…. Mini fridge definite bonus! A/C worked great, fan in room was wonderful too. Housekeeping, maintenance, restaurant staff and overnight manager at reception were all wonderful! Day time manager was not. Every request or concern (burned out lights twice during 5 day stay) was met with a sigh and muttering. She was extremely unpleasant and never simply greeted us when we walked by. Could definitely use more storage (no dresser), and a line or hooks for drying items…. The few there were weren’t enough. The bathroom needs some serious renovating. It’s dark, and dingy, (in ways I was glad it was dark because I didn’t really want to k ow what it looked like). The shower head needs replacing (room 104) as it is so crusted/clogged with minerals etc that not much more than a few streams of water come up which made bathing a task… I actually took my toddler to the outdoor shower one night because trying to rinse her hair with the trickle of a stream was taking too long and she hates showers in general. The pool was clean and a nice bonus. Pool furniture not overly comfortable. Wall of green plants was a nice touch I’m pretty well traveled and generally stay in fairly inexpensive places… so I’m truly not overly picky and have stayed in some very basic places in Madagascar and Laos and Cambodia…. But even all of those had at the very least a shower that worked. Update the bathroom and get a manager that is actually hospitable and the place would be more of a 4. The super friendly staff (other than manager) are why I rated it a 3 and not a 2
Rocamar Hotel Isla Mujeres

We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay. The check in process was quick within 5-10 mins and we were given the quiet room type as requested when we booked which is great. Room is big and clean with amazing ocean view and come with your own private balcony and hammock. Shower water pressure and temperature were on point too. We were worried about the Wi-Fi due to the numerous complaints seen online but surprisingly it was great throughout our stay at the highest floor! Fresh drinking water located the lobby with hot drinks making facility and they also provide microwave which is a bonus. Location is very strategic as well, just get off the ferry pier then walk straight up the road and within 2 mins you will find Rocamar. Supermarket (Super Aki) is nearby too, within 1-2 mins walk only. So as the restaurants, laundry services and souvenir shops which were less than 5 mins walk. We would highly recommend this hotel. Con: They can improve on washing the towels, though cleaned but still stained.

It's within walking distance from the ferry terminal, and the price is reasonable. You can hold your suitcase until 3pm on the day you check out.

The hotel is in a prime location. Rooms are relatively old but overall good value for money
