Ocean View Villa Jaiz

The hotel we stayed at this time was unique. The hotel was a gorgeous yellow and red building, and there was a large cactus in front of the entrance. It was a small hotel with eight rooms. Our room was about the size of a business hotel room, but we could see Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay in the distance. There was a small unit bath in the room. What made the hotel unique was that there was no large public bath, but there were five free private baths (two open-air baths, one semi-open-air bath, and two indoor baths that can be used 24 hours a day). You can always check whether these baths are available on the bulletin board in the hallway. There are no hair dryers in the open-air baths, so you have to bring one from your room or use it in your room (there are no amenities such as lotion). There is a washing area in every private bath. We had dinner at the restaurant. Almost everything was set, but when the boat-shaped sashimi arrived, the table around us was abuzz. The boat-shaped sashimi, which had 10 types of sashimi, was voluminous, fresh, and very delicious, and went well with sake. Next came chawanmushi and boiled alfonsino. The breakfast was also good with a variety of dishes. The food was delicious, so I'd like to come back again.

Both dinner and breakfast were voluminous and I was able to enjoy a variety of fresh seafood. There are 5 baths with different concepts that can be reserved, 2 of which are open-air baths, so you can relax. The last few hundred meters of the road coming and going from the national highway were very narrow, and when an oncoming car came, I felt like what to do, but since it is at the end, the view is wonderful.
