Hostel was decent, and good value. Bed was hard but comfortable enough. Bathrooms were clean enough, although for foreigners just know there's only squat toilets. The staff were helpful, and good with using translators to explain everything which was appreciated. Location is great, perfect to spend a night in Shaxi for a good price. However there was no lock on the door to the room (although there is a small locker in the room), but given its a small town security isn't too much of an issue. I forgot to take photos of the rooms but the view from the roof is nice. Overall, decent stay.

Nice friendly hosts, great location to transport and old town. We stayed in the double room and unfortunately it doesn’t seem like this room has been cleaned in a long time. Just putting clean sheets on a bed is not cleaning a room. The whole room and especially the bathroom needs a good thorough clean. It’s a shame because the rest of our stay was very pleasant but the cleanliness was a big let down, could have been 5/5

Wow, I love this dog so much. Ajiu is definitely an E-type dog, so cute! The yard is very big. You can sit in the yard and drink tea and play with the dog when you are tired. The location is convenient and very close to the tourist center. The room is very clean and good value for money.
