We visited Diguparu as our honeymoon. Diguparu is a resort with a pretty sea. There is a vast lagoon and a variety of marine life. There are many excursions here. Massages, spas, snorkeling, sunset phishing, etc. We could experience a lot of excursions during our five-day stay. And this place has 3 restaurants and 2 bars and it was generally okay. The staff in charge was Mary, and she seems to have worked hard for our service satisfaction. She responded to the complaints right away and solved them. And a lot of staff here always look at us, greet us, and smile. All of them were kind. I recommend this resort for making good memories.

We have just returned from the warmth and charm of the Maldives. Having extensively travelled around the world over the years, we were not disappointed. Once we had experienced the seaplane adventure from Male to resort we were met by the Dhigafaru team and to the sound of Maldivian drum walking from the boat jetty to the reception where we were checked in without delay and escorted to the water villa. The room was clean and tidy with good furnishings and of course the amazing view of the Indian Ocean. We had a fantastic week where nothing was too much trouble. The location of the resort is perfect with the sunsets out of this world. We found a good choice of food in the buffet and the seafood platter which we had on the beach was exquisite. We also enjoyed the dolphin trip, sunset fishing and took advantage of the spa facilities. Superb massage. We would like to personally thank the following staff which made our Maldivian vacation 10/10; Trisha Ismail Ajay Ikoo Manic Agha Vena Nina Would thoroughly recommend this unique island and particularly due its size and very hospitable staff and amazing setting in the Indian Ocean. Thanks again Dhigafaru, you gave us amazing lasting memories. We hope to return some day…

Beautiful, with first rate staff throughout, from the welcoming host Mary, to the manager seeing you off at the end of stay , with a warm handshake. Varied choice of food morning noon and evening, all delicious 😋 I don't return to many places, (the world is full of nice places to go) but I do intend to return here.

We stayed May 6-16th The hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful and far exceeded our expectations. The food is of a very high standard, the rooms and common areas spotlessly clean, staff friendly and attentive. There is a good selection of low-key evening entertainment. There is a house reef which is good for snorkelling and there are a variety of trips available as well as diving courses and water sports etc. This was the best hotel stay we have ever had, and we are both well travelled. We will definitely be returning to the Maldives and more than likely to Dhigufaru. Staff - from landing in Male to leaving the staff are wonderfully helpful. We had a hotel representative waiting for us to assist with the seaplane and he was also there on the return to advise on international departure. When arriving on the island the check in is seamless and we were assigned an island host of the duration of our stay - we had Mary, she was fantastically helpful in arranging trips and keeping us informed. She also arranged for some special extras for our anniversary including a room upgrade on the last two nights of our stay which was incredible - thank you Mary!!! All the staff on the island are incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff at the pool bar were fantastic. It also seems that in the restaurant you get assigned a waiter for the duration of stay - we had Shubuham, he was so lovely and remembered our drink orders :) as well as giving us tips and advice. Venu and Sohita were also lovely and helpful. A special thanks also to Abdullah the boat captain who let me steer the boat on the dolphin trip! Food - the food is excellent, of a really high standard and highly varied. We were on the island 10 nights and repetition was very limited. Entertainment - there is a different theme each night at the pool bar, but all entertainment is low key. Two stand outs were the diving school who gave a talk on the local reef, which was very informative. The hotel management also held a cocktail party one evening, this was a great way to find out more about the island as well as an informal way to raise any problems (we had none!). We had been out on the dolphin trip and mentioned that we didn't see any (not that we minded) so the manager rearranged for us to go again the next day and we saw many. This was exceptionally good service and so unexpected. There are also a good selection of trips available from the dive school, including a tour of the house reef (which we did), manta ray trip to Hanifaru (we did this and saw mantas), plus other trips such as turtles. The hotel also puts on a daily sting ray show at the arrival jetty - this is excellent! Island & sea - the house reef is good - off of the arrival jetty - with a good variety of fish (big & small), plus the occasional shark and sting ray. Not 5-star facility for sure. No bathrobes. Nice lagoon. Not a bad reef, but pretty far from the shore. Very nice Thundi bar available 24/7 for all-inclusive. Everything related to the nature and waterspouts is fine. Beach villa is good but due to erosion near rooms #104-108 it is difficult to reach the water directly from the house. Meal is poor even for a 3-star hotel and the cooking quality is below the average especially for meat dishes.
