Beautiful place to stay, but the service in front desk is not friendly, the guys who work there don’t have a good service attitude, I got a really bad time trying to get check out lat because my flight was delayed and we needed a place to stay, definitely I think this hotel has many good things except the front desk staff

I don't want to be too negative, because in the end, my family had a wonderful Spring vacation in Punta Cana. Our room was spacious and the buffet restaurant was good with plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The resort was also very accommodating to kids. However, there is construction on one side of the resort which is separated by a bamboo fence and there is sewer water running under the bamboo, causing the entire side of the resort to smell like sewer water. It was really bad. The front desk appeared to be understaffed and phone calls to them were often unanswered. During our stay the internet went out for approximately 24 hrs and the staff couldn't provide any updates or estimated time the situation would resolve. We ate 2 nights at the a-la-carte restaurants, but the service was too slow, especially with little kids, and orders ended up wrong or missing altogether. After the second disappointing night we agreed to go to the buffet each night for dinner. Fortunately, there was enough variety to keep things enjoyable there. The general consensus, in talking to other guest, was that everyone felt it was a very "affordable" resort. Given the price, I'm not overly disappointed with the experience, but we won't be returning.

This is a relatively new property, very clean, great beach, nice pools. Things to note if you are going here, people go out very early to 'reserve' their chairs - I would say you need to be out there by 8 am latest, or earlier if you have a larger party. A la carte restaurants can be booked up to 3 days in advance but go quickly, we often had very late reservations and couldn't get the full experience as the restaurants were shutting down. Food is okay, we describe it as a 'facsimile' of what you would expect in North America. Twice on excursions we had more local foods, which were fantastic. I personally ate from the food truck on the beach on my last day and got very sick. I am convinced my hamburger included some raw meat. Food truck always had long lineups though so my experience may be an outlier. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Housekeeping was great. All service staff were really good.

This property and the experience was very average or slightly below.
For starters the hospitality of the staff was very inconsistent. No warm, friendly welcome. We were there to celebrate my son’s birthday and there was no inquiry of special occasion or real effort to make his stay special. I sent multiple notes, ig message, email and even tried calling prior to our arrival and no one followed up.
Upon arrival, and through out our entire stay it felt like folks just doing their jobs for the most part. A few of the waiter staff were pleasant.
Most shocking for us was the design of the bathroom. Upon entry is the bathroom with an open SHOWER with NO PRIVACY. We learned all the rooms are designed this way. The hung up sheets with hangers to the ceiling when we complained. It was such an eye sore.
The Food at the buffet lacked variety. We stayed for 8 days and it was the very same options everyday. Nothing exciting. Room service was absolutely nasty. We tried it couple times and found the food terrible and inedible. There was also no breakfast option on the room service menu.
The pool was cold including the jetted pool.
The food at the restaurants were nothing special. The Italian restaurant had almost no Italian options. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this resort.

The pros - beautiful beach and ocean. Staff were lovely. Lots of great guests - good mix of families and college kids. The pool was lovely. The room was very good although the temperature control was spotty- some nights scorching, others freezing. The buffet was the best place to eat in the whole resort (see the bad below).
The average - the waterpark was fun the first few days but became old since there were only 3 slides. The shows at night were ok, not great. Michael Jackson and pop stars had excellent dancing but if you’re going to make the lipsyncing that obvious, just play the music and don’t pretend to sing; it weakens the authenticity of the show.
The bad - the restaurants. It’s so unfortunate because the reservation process is so bad (can’t make a reservation on the day you arrive and you can’t book out more than 2 days), but it’s made worse by the fact that the food, apart from the Mediterranean place, is so average at best and service incredibly and unbearably slow. We actually left the Italian place mid meal to go to the buffet because the service was so slow and the kids were hungry.

The resort is beautiful and clean. My friend and I had an ocean view suite. The staff are friendly, food is good definitely book the speciality restaurants they are amazing.
The spa/salon is one of the best I’ve been to in the Dominican Republic all the staff there are fantastic and Desyi is amazing and truly a wonderful soul not only did she give me the best Dominican blow out ever (I have curly hair) she gave me tips on how to take care of my hair back home ( muchas gracias Desyi tu eras la mejor!!!)
The only issue we had with the resort was that to get seats at the pool you need to wake up at 7 am and the club entertainment could be better. Overall if you’re looking for a relaxing resort this is the place.

Very nice hotel, big with many things to do. Beautiful beach and nice pools. Loved our swim up room. A couple of things that would make the hotel better: The staff needs some training to better their customer service skills. We lost electricity a couple of times while we were dinning. The family bedrooms should not have a see through glass in the bathroom. There was a bad odor outside, like dirty water.
