This was my first stay at an Extended Stay America. The front desk staff were very nice. The room appeared clean. However, there was a odor, throughout the hotel, kind of like scents being used to hide other scents. The beds were uncomfortable, the air conditioner was loud and made the room humid. The room was dark. The appliances were very old. The hotel, in general, was run down. There wasn't even coffee at the "grab and go" breakfast (I was told the coffee machine was broken). I'm used to not getting towel service daily, but being told I had to bring my dirty towels to the front desk to get clean towels...that was a first. There is absolutely no service at all. I was not prepared for that. I arrived with a broken foot, in a cast and on crutches. It was very difficult to get my luggage to my room. No one bothered to offer me less than 5 minutes of their time to just push a luggage cart from the lobby to the room. I was planning on booking a room Mon. to Friday every week for 16 weeks (I'm doing an internship). I won't be back. Left and went to the Holiday Inn Express just down the street. No kitchen, but fridge and microwave and much nicer hotel, with more amenities, for the same price.
