The hotel is very closed to shanxi historical museum, and also walking distance to dayan pagoda and the tang never sleep city… highly recommended to book.. it is just at the exit of the metro station.. Hotel wise.. very good as upgraded me to a higher class room.. will come back to stay again for sure

Hermitage is at a great location, serene within the hotel but bustling with life outside. Hotel butler service on WeChat was responsive, staff escorted me from drop off point to hotel, shared some interesting tips about moving around. The daily afternoon tea and supper were such a treat, allowing me to enjoy afternoon tea)coffee at the comfort of the room balcony (with great views of the pagoda).

First, it's very close to the scenic area, just a few steps from the exit. During the Spring Festival holiday, armed police were stationed at the intersection, which gave me a great sense of security. Second, you can drive directly to the parking garage, which is free. Staff members provided directions on foot, which felt very reliable. Third, upon arrival, staff proactively helped with luggage and explained hotel and scenic area information; the service was very attentive. Fourth, the hotel has comprehensive facilities and services, including smart home technology. The rooms are clean and tidy, and drinking water and various daily necessities are available upon request. Finally, the staff were all very polite and courteous, making customers feel respected.

Located right next to the Tang Paradise, you can eat whatever you want. The rooms are quiet despite the hustle and bustle, and have underfloor heating. The staff are very welcoming. I stayed for three days and visited all the must-see spots in Xi'an. I had a great time. I highly recommend this hotel.

Many thanks to staff, Farah, Dan, Long, Ling and Sunny. They are very warm, friendly and professional. We really loved their attentive service. Our room was clean and tastefully furnished. The buffet breakfast was varied and tasty. The complimentarty airport transfer service was well appreciated. Special dessert from Xi'an was given to us upon our check out. Such generous and thoughtful gift.

The front desk staff provided excellent service as she provided her personal WeChat number to us as we do not have a domestic China mobile number in case we need any help during our stay. She also help us to book the appointment for the free photo shoot experience as we are unable to book due to the domestic mobile number issue. The resort also provided a free birthday cake for us as my wife’s birthday falls on the same day as the resort stay. The janitor staff, transport, restaurant, and other service staff are also courteous and provided excellent service and advice. We truly enjoy our magical stay there. Additional point just for further improvement is to explain the procedures for the guests to use the public hot spring bath as some guests are first time users.

Our room was spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable – the perfect place to relax after exploring the city’s rich history. Dining at Dolce Vita was a delight, with exquisite cuisine and a warm atmosphere. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the exceptional service we received. A heartfelt thank you to Ruizi, Themis, Fancy, and Tommy, who went above and beyond to make our Mother’s Day celebration so special. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel truly cherished. If we could give more than five stars, this would be a solid 10. We will most certainly return!

TTinaMThis is a lovely hotel with kind, welcoming staff. I read some reviews saying the rooms are very old etc, but I don't see how that makes this hotel any less great - the rooms are still clean and well maintained. I arrived in Xi'an after 48 hours of hectic traveling due to a missed train, and the staff at Meihao Hotel were very welcoming, were happy to use translation apps to communicate with me. The room was large, with a view of the neighbourhood outside (mostly just traffic jams haha, but that's Xi'an). The location may not be super ideal for some as it isn't in the city centre, but honestly it was no inconvenience at all, as the nearest subway station is a brisk walk away -- about 5-7 minutes. If you're arriving by train and carrying a lot of heavy luggage, then yes, coming via subway might be a bit of a challenge (but not impossible!) The housekeeping staff especially were very warm and kind. Thank you for always brightening my day when I walked by you all. A few hours after I checked in, a lovely staff member knocked on my door and offered me a small bowl of soup. I was very confused as I hadn't ordered anything, but upon seeing other guests were receiving this too, I gladly accepted. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture -- this hotel truly knows how to make one feel welcome. I fell ill on the second day of my stay, and thankfully the room was so comfortable, I could recuperate well. My only complaint is that the bedsheets, comforter, pillowcases etc -- all the bedding essentially smells of cigarette smoke. I could also smell cigarette smoke from beyond my room's door at night. This was despite there being a clear sign in the room saying smoking was not allowed inside. Though this is certainly not something you can fault hotel staff for (if guests are adamant to smoke inside, what can housekeeping possibly do?), I just thought I would mention this for any other guests who might be very sensitive to the smell, perhaps you could request staff to rewash the bedding until the smoke smell is entirely gone. After checking out, I also noticed there were some freebies that were part of my booking that I unfortunately missed out on :( There was meant to be welcome fruit, afternoon tea for two and a midnight snack, which I would have loved to try. There was no welcome fruit offered, but I did receive some refreshing juice when I arrived to check in -- it was a hot day and I was grateful for the welcome drink. For the other stuff, as I didn't realise it was part of the booking perks, I never asked, and consequently seem to have missed out. I also want to say that aside from the rooms, the lobby area is quite lovely -- very tastefully decorated, peaceful, and I even saw they had some free coffee out for guests! I only noticed this when I was checking out though, and my taxi was already on the way to pick me up, so I could not indulge. Maybe it would be helpful if the reception staff could share all this info with guests when they check in, especially with the foreign guests who are already a bit confused and trying to get their bearings ^-^ Just a suggestion! Thank you for a nice stay. I will definitely be back again soon.

SShoumiaoWe were five grown men and had a very comfortable stay. This is a B&B in the residential complex. It's beautifully decorated, quiet, and well-equipped. The floor heating was very warm, even with the windows open, it wasn't cold, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. The complex is well-managed, and it's right next to Wanda and two snack streets! There's a wide variety of food options, but eating in the room was so comfortable that we deliberately packed up for two nights and played mahjong and poker afterwards...we didn't want to go out. Transportation is very convenient, and the subway station is just a short walk away. Two of the bedrooms are small suites, one with a private bathroom, and the other two share a bathroom. Three bathrooms are definitely enough. In short, living in this large flat is really comfortable!
