We stayed there just one night, we could leave our luggage there before check in and after check out.
They upgraded out room which was very nice, very nice view!
Like 600 m to the metro. I guess Hong Kong is a big town, so we took very long to get everywhere, but as we stayed very little in town, I wouldn’t know.
Breakfast was ok, we ate at the end and there wasn’t much food left.
Room very big. We didn’t use laundry so I wouldn’t know

The room was spacious and the location was excellent, only about a 10-minute walk to the Kai Tak Sports Park concert venue, which was super convenient for attending the show. It's also very close to the MTR station, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. This was definitely the best night's stay of our entire trip.

What can be more classically Hong Kong than staying in a former factory? Every corner of our building holds a hint of its former glory from the modern aesthetic of our 185 rooms to the streamlined, business oriented mindset we’ve applied to our services. Today, the factory might be gone, but the spirit of the Camel brand still lives on in our hotel. The original floor plans, pieces of the factory and vintage Camel products that have been re-imagined into new uses can be found in the public areas and our rooms. Become part of the Kowloon Bay resurgence. Get caught up in the energy of Hong Kong's emerging international business hub rising from Hong Kong's former iconic industrial district.

The hotel's location is excellent, close to the West Kowloon Station high-speed rail station. It's a great choice if you need to catch an early high-speed train.
**Transportation:** It's about a 10-minute walk from Kowloon Bay MTR station.
**Surroundings:** It's very quiet as there's nothing much around, but if you arrive late and want something to eat or drink, your options are limited. There are instant noodles and drinks available on the first floor. You can also pick up drinks or late-night snacks directly from outside to bring back. When coming back from the MTR station, there are many options to buy things, including a pretty big supermarket.
There was a great discount on red wine. If you like red wine and want to bring some bottles back, it's worth checking out.
Overall, the hotel is really good. The only unpleasant thing was a strong musty smell in the hallway right off the elevator... it immediately put me off. Once in the room, I noticed an air purifier was running, and the musty smell wasn't strong, but it felt a bit damp. Turning on the air conditioning helped a lot.
My stay was pretty good, and it offered great value for money. Satisfied! 👍

The hotel doesn't provide disposable toiletries, so you need to bring your own. There are also no power adapters. The room is tiny, as expected for such a prime location, but its biggest advantage is the incredibly convenient transportation! Whether you take the A22 bus or the MTR, getting to and from the airport is a breeze. Just exit D2 from the MTR, and the hotel entrance is right across the street – very easy to find. The surrounding area feels very local, just like something out of a TVB drama. Within walking distance, you'll find all sorts of 'cha chaan tengs' (Hong Kong-style cafes), dessert shops, Wellcome supermarkets, and McDonald's. If you're going to a concert at Kai Tak, it's just one MTR stop to Sung Wong Toi! Super convenient~ The Klook ticket pickup point is also nearby, so if you're worried about crowds at the venue, you can pick up your tickets close to the hotel. All in all, it's a great choice if you're attending a concert at Kai Tak!!

GGuest User2026.04.16
Overall, my stay was quite good. The biggest flaw in the entire room was the bathroom not having a wet/dry separation! When showering, water consistently overflowed throughout the entire bathroom and even seeped onto the room's floor, making it slippery. This led to me slipping and falling during my shower, injuring my knees and arms. The subsequent handling of the incident showcased the hotel's inconsistent service quality.
Initially, I spoke with Manager Wu for a resolution. Not only did she fail to help me, but she also told me that if I went to the hospital for a check-up and requested a refund, they would not assist me with a room change. Her way of handling the issue was truly disheartening. What I wanted was for the wet/dry separation problem to be resolved, because the core issue isn't about a refund, but about my safety. If it's not addressed and I slip again, leading to a secondary injury, the situation would be far more serious.
Later, Manager Guo took over. After understanding my situation, he immediately upgraded our room to one with a wet/dry separated bathroom and arranged for staff to help move my luggage to the new room. His service attitude is highly commendable. Furthermore, the service attitudes of the hotel's front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping staff are also commendable. Especially Coco, upon learning about my old knee injury and fear of slipping, helped clean the bathroom floor and provided me with towels. Because my son is a DSE candidate this year, the restaurant staff went above and beyond to help him with his exams, including providing daily breakfast takeaways and a travel adapter at the restaurant.
Overall, the service attitude is praiseworthy, but I hope the hotel strengthens its service attitude training for all staff to ensure everyone provides a high standard of service to guests. Moreover, I hope the hotel can promptly address the issue of non-separated wet/dry bathrooms to ensure guests' safety and experience during their stay.

Amenities: It's an eco-friendly hotel, so there are no toothbrushes or combs provided. Remember to bring your own.
Cleanliness: If you don't request housekeeping, they only clean every three days by default.
Ambiance: The room isn't huge, but the bed is more comfortable than typical hotel beds.
Service: It's alright. There's a shuttle bus that departs on the hour, so if you miss it, you'll have to find your own way.

This is my umpteenth time staying here! It's just a short walk from the MTR station, and other transport links are super convenient too, with buses to the airport and other parts of Hong Kong. I particularly love the hotel's location.
Regarding the rooms, if you and a close friend are comfortable sharing a bed, I'd recommend the double room – it'll make the space feel a bit bigger. For twin rooms, well, that size is pretty standard for Hong Kong, so nothing special to rave about.
It's best to bring your own travel adapter, as the USB ports by the bed are generally quite loose and don't hold the plug securely.
For a trip to Hong Kong, finding a hotel with a decent price and a good location just to sleep, I would definitely recommend this place.

My friends and I recently stayed at the Royal Plaza Hotel, and it was truly a perfect experience – definitely five stars!
📍 **Fantastic Location, Unbeatable Transport:** The hotel is situated right above Mong Kok East MTR station and directly connected to MOKO shopping mall. Downstairs, you'll find shops, a supermarket, and various restaurants, making it incredibly convenient to get anything you need. Mong Kok East station also offers easy access to Shenzhen or Hong Kong Island.
🛏️ **Spacious, Clean, and Comfortable Rooms:** For Hong Kong, the rooms are genuinely spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds are large and very comfortable, and the warm lighting and elegant decor create a very relaxing atmosphere.
🏊 **Excellent Facilities, Great Experience:** The hotel boasts comprehensive facilities. The rooftop sky pool offers panoramic views of Mong Kok, and swimming there at night while enjoying the cityscape is an absolute delight.
🙋 **Attentive Service, Felt Right at Home:** All the staff members were very polite, providing warm and thoughtful service. When checking out, the front desk lady even gave a small gift to my child, which was a lovely touch.
💡 **Overall:** The hotel is clean, and the service is efficient. It's a rare peaceful haven amidst the bustling city. Offering excellent value for money, I will definitely choose the Royal Plaza Hotel again on my next trip to Hong Kong!

MIJ (Kai Tak) Hotel is open at the end of 2024, located in a prime area of Kowloon.
The hotel features 161 well-equipped rooms, each uniquely decorated with a contemporary flair, ensuring spacious and bright accommodations. Guests can enjoy various scenic views, including sea and city views, allowing them to fully appreciate the beauty of the waterfront.
The hotel maintains a completely smoke-free environment and offers 24-hour dedicated staff for check-in and check-out services. Rooms are equipped with either king-size beds or twin beds, catering to the different needs of families and individual travelers.
MIJ (Kai Tak) Hotel is conveniently located within a 5 to 10-minute walk to either To Kwa Wan or Sung Wong Toi MTR stations, providing easy access to bustling areas such as Mong Kok, Jordan, and Tsim Sha Tsui.
From Hong Kong International Airport, guests can take a taxi, which takes about 30 minutes, or take buses A22 or E23, approximately a 50-minute ride, walking about 6 minutes to the hotel.
Additionally, the hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the large public recreational area, Tak Sports Park, and is surrounded by supermarkets, a variety of restaurants, and banks.
BBingyanbianfu2026.03.11
This hotel is primarily suited for fans attending events or those on a budget, mainly due to its proximity to Kai Tak Sports Park, which is within walking distance. If you're on the sea-view side, you can even see the sports stadium building right from your bed.
**Location:** It's not particularly close to any of the three MTR stations, and it can be a bit tricky to find, as the hotel's double-door glass entrance isn't very prominent. However, once you're checked in, it's incredibly convenient for commuting back and forth to the venue. You can even spot it just by looking up at the building without needing navigation apps.
**Transportation:** The most convenient option is the A22 airport bus; it's just a short walk around the corner, about 5 to 6 minutes. If you need to get to an MTR station, expect about a 10-minute walk.
**Dining & Surroundings:** There aren't many convenience stores or restaurants right downstairs; you'll need to walk a few hundred meters. Unlike Hong Kong's vibrant nightlife, this area isn't very lively or brightly lit at night. After 10 PM, when most shops close, the surrounding streets can be quite dark, which might be a concern for single female travelers. (This is just a concern, not an safety risk, as Hong Kong's public safety is very reliable; I walked around alone late at night several times). It feels more like a residential area than a commercial district.
There's a self-service laundry room right next to the hotel with plenty of machines.
**Window View:** Because it's a residential area without towering skyscrapers blocking the view, you get a great, almost floor-to-ceiling view of the grand Kai Tak venue. On a clear day, you can even see the sea. For concert-goers, it's particularly exciting as you can directly see the Kai Tak venue's magnificent glass sphere exterior and the long corridor leading to the 'dream' stage.
**Room Amenities:** The rooms are basic, simple, and practical; don't expect a luxurious comfort experience. The double rooms are very small, with just enough space to walk around the bed. The bed frame is hollow underneath to maximize space for luggage, showing a strong focus on practicality.
The bathroom is also compact, with only the most basic toiletries provided, so guests should bring their own. Essential appliances like a kettle, hairdryer, and mini-fridge are available.
**Important Note:** There are only two power outlets in the entire room, so if you have multiple devices or more than one person staying, you'll definitely need to bring your own power strip and travel adapters.
Despite the high floor, the elevators are very fast.
The soundproofing for the hallway isn't great, so you can hear noises from the corridor. However, sounds from adjacent rooms are completely inaudible, so there's no mutual disturbance.
**Service:** The service response and problem-solving are efficient, typical of Hong Kong's work ethic. After adding the front desk's WeChat, you can reach out for any issues. Room cleaning is also very frequent; when I went out for dinner in the evening, staff even came in for turn-down service.
On the last day, when checking out, I asked the front desk about the bus stop, and the friendly gentleman personally escorted me to the street corner and even let me take a photo of the navigation map.
**In summary:** This is a suitable place to stay if you're in Hong Kong for shows or spend most of your time exploring the city, looking for a place to rest your head at night.

KkerkcheehowLocation: Just a 3-minute walk from Wan Chai MTR Exit C. You can also take bus A11 directly from the airport.
Environment: Clean and spacious rooms, which is considered quite large for Hong Kong.
Amenities: Toothbrush, slippers, towels, hairdryer, shower gel, and shampoo are all provided.
Staff: All staff members are polite and can speak English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Overall, the room was quiet, the air conditioning was sufficiently cold, and the shower had good water pressure. I stayed for six nights and had a very pleasant experience.
LlamlllThe hotel is nestled at the foot of the mountain, offering a tranquil environment away from the hustle and bustle of areas near MTR stations. However, it's about a 20-minute walk to Central/Admiralty MTR stations, or a 6-7 minute taxi ride (around HKD 20-35). We were assigned a room on the 28th floor facing Central, and the view was absolutely stunning. We had a complete panoramic view of the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, the US Consulate, the Peak Tram Terminus, Government House, and even the distant Bank of China Tower, Standard Chartered Bank Building, and IFC.
The staff were all very warm, friendly, and accommodating. They even helped bring up our food deliveries to the room. The room cleanliness was excellent. The soundproofing, however, was average; we could hear louder noises from upstairs and next door. In the mornings, we could also hear the birds chirping from the Zoological and Botanical Gardens below. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, but there was a kitchen available for cooking.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for something a bit more unique. Compared to 5-star and 4-star hotels near MTR stations, this place offers a really good stay.
SSanfenrexieziI was traveling solo and only stayed for one night, so location was my top priority when choosing a hotel. This place is just a two or three-minute walk from the Yau Ma Tei MTR station, right on the street, and easy to find. The young man at the front desk was very polite, but the older gentleman next to him had a slightly gruff tone. The room itself was fine, aside from being small. For one person, this room type was just about enough, but for two, it would probably feel very cramped.
WWhere are the JacksWe are a family of four. Stayed for 6 days in their family room. Room size is big for Hong Kong standards at 28 square meters with two double beds. 4500 Pesos per night, great Value for money. Different themed floors and rooms. Greece, Africa, cozi penguins etc. It has a playroom for kids. gym and sauna, also a swimming pool, but it's closed, open during summertime or July. Service is great. Staff are all nice. Spoke to them in english and Mandarin.
MTR and Bus are only in front of the hotel, or about 300 meters. Connected to V CITY MALL, and connected to other malls, tuen men plaza, tuen men park etc. all via connecting Bridge. You can take the 33AX bus going from and to the airport. Only cost 17 HK dollars. Oh we went to a local catholic church for the easter sunday mass. It's in front of V City Mall. MTR takes you everywhere in HK very convenient yet cheap because it's not your usual touristy area like Tsim Sha Tsui.
RRS JennyI stayed at this hotel for almost a week, and the service was genuinely excellent. One thing that stood out was how attentive the housekeeping staff were after a few days, they seemed to understand exactly how I preferred my bed and bedding arranged. Whenever that particular staff member cleaned our room, she made sure everything was kept just the way I liked it, which I found very thoughtful.
The room, however, is significantly smaller than it appears in the photos much smaller, especially considering the price. That said, given that the hotel is located in Hong Kong, the size is somewhat understandable and not entirely unreasonable.
The location is definitely a highlight. It’s literally about a two-minute walk to the tram, which I used frequently during my stay. This made getting around Hong Kong extremely easy and convenient. Compared to other larger hotels in the same area, this one is also relatively more affordable.
In terms of cleanliness, there is room for improvement. On one occasion, after the room was serviced, my towel was replaced with one that was worn out, slightly damaged, and didn’t look properly clean. That was disappointing and not up to standard.
AAnonymous UserStaying here for second time. The room was a bit old and the curtain doesn’t work well but as a solo traveler, it was ok. The door is not well soundproof. I would prefer the first time I stayed here. However, with this price in HK, I would say I am still ok with overall experience.
LLuna Blanca Ysmeralda⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem.
The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel.
Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch.
Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget.
We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us.
The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!
Bbb1979_2006I booked two adjoining double rooms. Though small, they had everything needed, and the hotel felt quite new and comfortable inside. It's located next to a highway, so there was some noise (rooms facing the small road on the opposite side would probably be quieter). I'd say the air conditioning unit was even louder. For breakfast, they offered one pastry and unlimited coffee refills. There was no bottled water in the room, and toiletries and slippers were not provided. It's about a 10-minute walk to Prince Edward MTR station. The value for money is much better than some of the older hotels.
BbeibeiloveseaComing to Hong Kong this time, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com, but most rooms were tiny and the facilities were outdated. I finally decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong, and as soon as I entered, I was blown away by the sea-view room on the first floor with a large balcony! Stepping out, you're greeted by an endless expanse of clear blue sea – the view is absolutely stunning! 🌊
At night, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony, watching the starry sky, eating fruit, and having drinks. It was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient; there's a free shuttle bus directly to the MTR station, making it easy to go shopping, explore, and try out all the amazing local food.
The buffet breakfast was a bit simple, so don't have high expectations. Once you're near the MTR station, there are so many Hong Kong delicacies that you'll wish you had more stomachs to try them all.
The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a healing sea view and excellent value for money. The experience was fantastic, and it's definitely on my must-stay list for my next visit to Hong Kong. I'll definitely be back!
RRyonChenThe location is super convenient, with direct subway access. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making me feel right at home. While the room wasn't huge, it was clean and comfortable, and the sea view from my room was spectacular. Overall, it's great value for money, perfect for business trips or short getaways. I'd definitely consider staying here again.
