The rooms are just a few minutes' walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station Exit A. Guys are on the 3rd floor, girls on the 2nd. The dorm rooms have lockers, and all rooms use keypads. Unlike hotels in mainland China, check-out is at 12 PM here. If your flight is later, you can leave your luggage in the common area. For this price in Hong Kong, the overall package is excellent, especially with the landlady, who is incredibly kind and gentle. For those looking to save on accommodation and prioritize value for money while visiting Hong Kong, this is definitely the place to stay!

The host and staffs are helpful and friendly! If you are a low budget traveler who would like to stay in the convenient and central area of Hong Kong. This is the best choice for you! The Inn is close to the MRT, there are a lot shops around the area! Truly a hustle and bustle street!
👎 The 3-bed room I booked is extremely tiny. We stay for the Hong Kong Marathon race for 1 night! The local Hong Kong people label this as 劏房. Two of us used the 3rd bed to open 2 luggages! Otherwise, only 1 person can open one luggage at this state
✅ The room is clean, I am extremely sensitive with dust! If the room is not clean, I can biologically feel it!

The hotel is located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, and was easy to find. Although the room was small, it had a good hot water supply and all the necessary toiletries. However, there were a lot of 'phoenix shops' (brothels) downstairs?? 😅 I couldn't sleep at night because the doorbell kept ringing. The air conditioning unit was old and so noisy when on cool mode that it was impossible to sleep. The soundproofing also wasn't very good. I'd advise against staying here if you prioritize a good night's sleep.

Five-star review! (^ω^)👍🏻
The hotel environment is great, the room is spacious enough, and the cleanliness is excellent. Having a direct drinking water dispenser is very convenient, and it also comes with a mini-fridge, a safe, and an iron.
The hotel staff are very enthusiastic. The cleaning lady was especially kind and even told us about fun places to visit and how to get around using public transport.
The location is superb! Across the road is the International Shopping Centre and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station Exit C1. Next to the shopping center, there's a street with a Hong Kong-style 'cha chaan teng' (tea restaurant) that has lots of delicious food – we went there four times during our four-night stay! 😂
Chungking Mansions and Mirador Mansion are right next door. Jenny Bakery for Jenny's Cookies is on the second floor of Mirador Mansion, just a few minutes' walk away. However, you need to go early to queue, preferably before 9 AM, and be prepared to pay with cash.
It's also very close to Victoria Harbour's Avenue of Stars and the Hong Kong Museum of Art, about a 10-minute walk. It's super convenient to stroll along the Avenue of Stars in the morning and enjoy the night view and light show in the evening.
If I visit again, I would definitely choose this hotel!

I got a room with an extra-large 1.8-meter bed, and all the toiletries were provided. The only issue was that the bathroom fan was quite noisy. The room had an air purifier, which was a nice touch. However, the wait to check in was far too long; there were only two staff members, and despite seeing a long queue of guests, they didn't add more staff. Also, when I tried to call internal extensions for room amenities, it took half an hour for someone to answer, and they hung up before I finished speaking. The service definitely needs improvement. Additionally, the hotel doesn't provide power adapters, so remember to bring your own.

The map was quite accurate, and when I got close, I called the owner who gave me directions, making it easy to find. The owner was super nice, and the room was truly excellent value for money. The sheets and duvet covers were new and clean, with a fresh laundry scent. The family room was also spacious enough for four people. The location is fantastic and convenient, very close to the MTR station, with plenty of food options nearby. Hong Kong is notorious for small, expensive hotels, and I had some reservations after reading negative reviews. But the room type I stayed in was genuinely great. For such an affordable price, staying at a place with such great value and still leaving a bad review seems a bit harsh. If I visit Hong Kong again, I'd definitely consider staying here, and I'd recommend it to other travelers too!

This is a really great guesthouse – very new and clean, with everything you need. The double-layer password lock also made me feel very secure. They even provide drinking water in the common areas. My room had a large window which let in a lot of natural light, and at night, I could close the window, turn on the AC, and there was absolutely no outside noise, which was fantastic. The building itself is also relatively safe and clean, and the location is superb. Downstairs, there are all sorts of shops, and just across a small road is the subway station. It was a really excellent stay.

When I booked, I requested a high floor, a quiet room, and a good sea view. Upon check-in, the front desk lady recommended a sea view room on the 15th floor. Although it was a bit smaller than the sea view rooms on lower floors, it felt larger than I expected once I was in it, about 20-something square meters. I borrowed a power adapter from the hotel, and they were very prompt in refilling bottled water for free during my stay. Aside from the room decor looking a bit dated, everything else was fine. The location is also very convenient, right next to the Star Ferry Terminal, Avenue of Stars, and Harbour City.

Good
GGuest UserLocated in Wan Chai, the hotel boasts a great location and has been recently renovated. The room isn't huge, but it's fully functional and doesn't feel cramped for two people; it's quite comfortable. The soundproofing in the room is also good. One thing I couldn't quite understand is why, during the renovation, they didn't update the charging outlets to be more universal. I still needed an adapter for my Apple devices, and it was easy to accidentally hit the switch, which would stop the charging.
GGuest UserThis hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! For a price over HKD 1,000, I was expecting a tiny room in Hong Kong, but to my surprise, it was a suite. It had a living room with a sofa, coffee table, and dining table, and the bedroom had a super large bed. Plus, all the details in the bathroom were very clean.
The hotel staff were very nice, and their Mandarin was good. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, where you could order one set meal, and all four I tried were delicious. You could even see parrots flying outside the window while having breakfast.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its convenient location. It's about two bus stops from Admiralty Station (or walkable, really), a 200-meter walk from the Peak Tram Macdonnell Road Station, and within walking distance of Hong Kong Park and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserThis hotel is located in the bustling Yau Ma Tei district, very close to popular attractions like Mong Kok and Victoria Harbour, making transportation incredibly convenient. You can take the A21 Citybus directly from the airport, and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. There are numerous 7-Eleven stores and Mannings pharmacies nearby, as well as many cha chaan tengs (Hong Kong-style cafes) for dining options. Victoria Harbour is a straightforward two-kilometer walk away, and the West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station is also just 1.5 kilometers on foot, passing by the Instagrammable Old Yau Ma Tei Police Station on the way. The hotel facilities are new and very modern. There's a coffee machine in the lobby offering complimentary coffee in the mornings. Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping team are very friendly.
LLiangdeaodesaiThe hotel is right next to Causeway Bay and Victoria Park, and it's less than a 10-minute walk to Causeway Bay MTR station, so the location is great. The executive rooms are on the higher floors and offer sea views, which is a nice touch. The room isn't huge but it has everything you need and is well-equipped. The bedding is comfortable, and it offers good value for money.
AAnonymous UserLocated in the Southern District of Hong Kong Island, the hotel offers convenient public transport connections to Central, Causeway Bay, and other areas. The Chinese Rhenish Church is also right next door.
LLingchuanwangxianzhiThe place is quite clean and tidy, with good hygiene. The location is also very convenient, right above Mirador Mansion, which is close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and many shopping centers. It's also very easy to find places to eat.
The front desk staff are extremely polite! It's suitable for mainland compatriots.
PPositivelyUWe had a fantastic time at the Grand Bay View! The room was cosy and clean, but the real star was the view—sunrise over the beach was spectacular. The location is perfect; you can walk down to the beach in seconds.
The free shuttle to the MTR is a great perk, but the real money-saver is Bus A38 right outside. It takes you directly to the airport for only 20 HKD (much cheaper than a taxi!). The staff were lovely and even lent us a plug adapter when we realised the sockets were different, as well as an iron and an ironing board.
Just a heads-up: they don't provide free bottled water, toothbrushes, or daily towel changes unless you ask. Also, we weren't fans of the on-site restaurant, so we ordered in. But honestly, the kitchenette in the room was perfect for making our own tea and coffee. Highly recommend for the views and value!
RRegina Isabel DiazUpon our arrival the staff at the hotel were so nice and very accommodating.. they even upgrade our room..
-Our room is nice and clean.. everyday they clean our room and get our trashes..
-everyday they serve bread in the morning for free and they have 24/7 free coffee and water at the lobby..
-it has lots of store within the area
-affortable price
The only disadvantage i can think of is that its a bit far from the mrt station.. esp if you have kids like us that we carry and walk a bit far everyday from the station.. though the area is okay bec theres a lot of store, 7/11 and restos
Thank you so much starphire!
GGuest UserSecond time visiting! Exactly same room for the single bed type.
Although room space is really limited (7 m² maybe), it really one of my best places to stay for budget!
It located at the center of Wan Chai, which it is easily connected to those CBDs e.g. Central and Causeway Bay.
Just experience the building of old Hong Kong here.
Thanks again in bring new life to these kind of buildings.
GGuest UserTwenty years ago, when I first visited Hong Kong on a tour, I stayed at the Rambler Garden Hotel next door. Back then, this entire complex had just opened, and this area wasn't even on my Hong Kong friend's new map. From my room, I could see the Stonecutters Bridge under construction and the container terminal below. Back then, we had bulky CRT TVs on the windowsills; now, there are flat-screen TVs mounted on the walls.
The hotel is very clean, and housekeeping is prompt and thorough. The room is quite small, which is typical for Hong Kong. The wardrobe and other furniture haven't been replaced in twenty years, and some pieces are showing wear and tear. The mini-fridge, which used to be under the wardrobe, is now on the windowsill. The nightstand, previously between the two beds, has been moved to the side closer to the bathroom. Some of the worn areas definitely need timely repairs.
Tsing Yi is a relatively secluded island, and as one of only two hotels here, transportation relies on minibuses 88F and 88G plus the MTR, which is reasonably convenient. Because of its somewhat remote location, the big advantage is the excellent value for money. For the same price, hotels in areas like Jordan or Central would be even smaller and lack any cabinets or chairs.
WeChat Pay and Alipay are widely accepted in many places, though a few smaller shops still hold out, accepting only cash.
All three meals can be had at the Café de Coral restaurant on L1. There's also a convenient ParknShop supermarket where you can top up your Octopus card at the checkout. On L1, you'll also find a Bank of China (Hong Kong) ATM. You can withdraw Hong Kong dollars directly using any UnionPay debit card; it automatically converts the currency, and I found the exchange rate to be quite good at 0.88. There's a flat fee of HK$10 per transaction.
Twenty years ago, the hotel used to sell Disneyland tickets. Now, it's so easy to buy tickets online via mobile, so that service is no longer offered.
That's all I can think of for now. Time to rest.
