GGuest UserThis Japanese hotel is truly impressive! The service is meticulous and attentive, and the rooms are clean, cozy, and equipped with modern facilities. The location is convenient, yet quiet and safe. The Japanese breakfast is exquisite and delicious, and the staff are warm and professional. It was a very comfortable and pleasant stay, highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in Sannomiya. It's just a short walk to Sannomiya Station, the airport bus, and Daimaru department store. Directly across from the hotel is a 24-hour Don Quijote, spanning four floors – I always end up buying so much there! They also offer late-night snacks. While the room isn't huge, the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom are a rare and welcome feature for a Japanese hotel.

ちちなみStaying in Kobe for a night, I booked this hotel after reading reviews that it's close to Sannomiya Station and relatively new. It was super convenient coming from Kansai Airport; I took the airport bus directly to the Sannomiya bus terminal, and after getting off, it was less than a 10-minute walk with Google Maps. Getting to JR Sannomiya Station from the hotel takes a maximum of 5 minutes, and the Hanshin Line is less than 10 minutes away – both are very close! There are plenty of dining options downstairs, and a 7-Eleven right next door. If you walk out the main hotel entrance and turn left, there's a cute dessert shop called Dorsia about five minutes away. Plus, it's not far from the Sannomiya shopping district, so you can easily walk there. I forgot to take pictures of the room, but in a double room, there was no problem opening a 26-inch suitcase.

CcorangThis is a great family-friendly hotel, featuring both indoor and outdoor playgrounds that are perfect for kids. The breakfast is good and offers a satisfying start to the day.
The hotel is conveniently located right next to Meriken Park, making it ideal for a relaxing stroll or sightseeing. It also provides a shuttle service to and from Sannomiya. Do note that the pick-up and drop-off points are at different locations, and the shuttle bus departs punctually.
The room is spacious, which adds to the overall comfort of the stay.

AAnonymous UserNot sure what has happened to Japan standard in the past couple of years but had called the hotel to confirm that linens are scent free (standard in Japan before) and was told yes. Unfortunately they are not, this new laundry detergent that is slowly spreading throughout Japan is absolutely horrible causing all sorts of allergic reactions (not only to me.) I start having rashes, compromised breathing, and inflammation issues. If it’s the same detergent used back in America, then it might be eco-friendly, but definitely not human friendly. I truly hope that Japan goes back to the way it was before the introduction of some western products filled with harmful chemicals to humans. It is not because you don’t react to it that it is not harming your body, it’s only a question of time and when it does, you won’t know why and there is no turning back. Take it from an Asian American born who was the biggest fan of American marketed products. We do have good products like ECOLAB, which is both, sustainable for the environment without compromising human health. Maybe laundry company should look into that company or simply return to Japanese products before. Good thing thing their pyjama are still scent free so I had to wrap the bed and cover with their pyjama to get through the night.

BBaici wawaThe room was clean, and the water pressure on the higher floors was consistently strong. They have laundry machines, a microwave, and a vending machine on the first floor, along with water dispensers on every floor. On the first floor, you can also find coffee, tea bags, toiletries, and bathrobes. This is my go-to place whenever I visit Kobe; it offers excellent value for money.

WWohewodejiarenTraveling solo, I found this hotel's location to be absolutely fantastic. It's just a stone's throw from the subway station and incredibly convenient for getting to the shopping district. The fact that they provide POLA toiletries really shows their attention to detail and commitment to quality. It made my trip super easy and comfortable, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again when I'm back in Kobe. However, the tissue box by the bed was quite dusty, indicating it hadn't been cleaned in a while.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, right above JR, and surprisingly quiet. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Sannomiya transportation hub, and a bit further to Meriken Park, which is perfect for enjoying the sea breeze and night views. The hotel itself also offers great night views. While the facilities are a bit dated, the room is spacious and clean.

GGuest UserHotel service was good. Dinner and breakfast was provided as part of the stay. Food was good for the stay since there are not much options for food at Arima. Most shops are closed by afternoon. Though the hotel is old but it’s renovated (except for the old wooden cupboard) which made the stay more pleasant. Onsen is indoor and small so will need to go at hours with lesser people.

GGuest UserGreat location. It has the usual sleeping gown, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush. It even had cleansing oil, toner. There also offered tea bags that you can take freely take from the lobby. The surrounding area has some renovations going on but the hotel is right by the Sannomiya station and bus terminal. The Lawson convenience store is right outside.
