I stayed here during the Christmas season, so the room rate was a bit higher than usual, but it was absolutely worth it. The hotel is in a perfect location — just a 3-minute walk from the train station, with plenty of restaurants all around. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was extremely clean. I was lucky to get a room facing the street, where I could see the trees turning bright yellow. It was such a beautiful view. One small detail I really appreciated was the hair dryer in my room. They provided a Rafa hair dryer, which is a rather premium brand. Since I have long hair, using a high-quality dryer made such a difference — my hair dried so quickly and smoothly. I was genuinely impressed by this thoughtful touch. Overall, a great stay and definitely worth choosing this hotel.

One of the best hotels we stayed in during our Japan trip. The room was extremely well thought out and very comfortable, especially for travelers. Having a washing machine and microwave right in the room made a huge difference and made our stay so convenient. Everything we needed was provided, and the room was clean, modern, and well maintained. Service was excellent and the overall experience felt effortless and stress free. Highly recommended, especially for couples or anyone staying more than a night.

Amazing
TtmlamThis year my wife and I went to Fukuoka for travel and celebration of our 10th wedding anniversary. We’ve stayed in 4 hotels, among which 1 Fukuoka was the best one. The hotel room was very grand with a balcony and an amazing city view. Location was very convenient as it was very close to the metro station. The hotel service was also outstanding. To give a surprise to my wife, I asked the hotel via emails to prepare an anniversary cake for us. The hotel staff brought it our room and help taking photos for us. I also need to mention the breakfast of the hotel. Their breakfast should be the best for all hotels I’d ever stayed in Japan. On the last day, I left some cash in the safe and checked out. Fortunately, the hotel staff sent me emails and asked me to come back to hotel. Million thanks for their kind service and help!
Lluv travelingI recently stayed again at Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Hakata Gion Kushida Shrine, and it definitely lived up to my expectations for a return visit.
The location is still one of the biggest highlights — being right next to the subway and within walking distance to Hakata Station, Canal City, and plenty of restaurants makes getting around incredibly convenient.
The rooms are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. While they’re not very large (which is typical in Japan), everything is well laid out and comfortable. I especially appreciated the small details like the amenities and overall cleanliness.
One of the best parts of staying here again was the public bath (onsen). It’s clean, relaxing, and a perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring — definitely something I looked forward to every night.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was smooth and efficient.
Overall, this hotel continues to be a reliable and comfortable choice in Fukuoka. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, clean, and well-equipped base for exploring the city.
DDayazhouI stayed here for ten days to enjoy the cherry blossoms, witnessing the entire process from their initial bloom to full splendor in Fukuoka. I was extremely pleased with everything, from the hotel lobby to the room, and from the service to the food. It's conveniently located within walking distance of Hakata Station. The cherry blossoms at Tochoji Temple nearby were magnificent when in full bloom (April 202***). The breakfast was particularly delicious, especially the vegetable salad, the made-to-order sashimi rice bowl, and the desserts. Perhaps because the bathroom and washroom were quite spacious, taking up a lot of the area, the 21-square-meter room felt small. We could just about open two small suitcases, but a larger one would have been difficult!
GGuest UserThe location was superb as it's just a few steps away from the underground entrance to the metro. There's also a 24Hr supermarket just minutes walk from the hotel above ground or if it's raining you can take the metro underground walkway which will also get you right to the entrance of supermarket. There are a few drug stores nearby (for medicine / cosmetics) and some open till 9pm or even midnight. It's only a very short walk to get to Canal city shopping area which has an array of shops and dinning options.
We stayed for 5 nights and breakfast was included in our room rate and it was very good with a decent amount of choices (we ended up eating there 4/5 mornings). Although the dinning area was not very big so if you're there during peak hours there could be a bit of a wait.
The room was a standard 'Dormy' room that you'd expect in almost any other Dormy Inn but for this particular hotel we felt the cleaning needs a bit of work. We have a habit of wiping down the shelves / tables before placing our things and even after three rounds of wiping with wet cloth / tissue it's still grey which shook us a bit.
GGuest UserThe location is excellent, right at the entrance of the Hakata station beside the taxi stop. Which is great for calling an Uber to and from the airport international terminal. The service is excellent, and the room was clean. The room was really small so should probably try to book a king size room if I visit again. The hotel has a coin laundry with 3 machines which is useful. But lots of people take turn using it so better keep an eye on the status via the room TV.
VVvmingThe room was spacious, but I really disliked the empty, dark, and oppressive decor. While there was plenty of space, all the furniture, including the flooring, felt very basic. There was a lot of room on either side of the bed, yet no bedside tables were provided, making it seem like the furniture wasn't placed to complement the space. The same issue applied to the hot spring changing room, where the lockers were crammed into one corner, making it feel very cramped. Breakfast seemingly had a good variety, but all the dishes were nearly empty. I'm not sure if I arrived at the wrong time, but there was still an hour left until closing. On a positive note, the bedding was very comfortable, and I particularly liked the hotel's pillows – I found them really cozy. Free coffee was also available in the lobby.
CCzdachengziThe hotel's location is excellent. It's less than 100 meters from the Chikushi Exit of Hakata Station – just turn left and you're there. Right next to the hotel, you'll find a FamilyMart convenience store, a Yoshinoya, and a ramen shop.
On the other side of the hotel, there's a bus stop with a direct bus to Fukuoka Airport's International Terminal, which is incredibly convenient.
Check-in is at 2 PM, and you can store your luggage for free if you arrive early. Check-out is at 11 AM. Both check-in and check-out are done via machines, which have a Chinese language option, and the hotel staff are very helpful if you need assistance. Next to the check-in area, you can self-service amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, and bath salts.
To use the hotel elevator, you need to scan your room key card. I booked a double room for single occupancy, which was 18 square meters – a standard size for a Japanese chain hotel. The shower is located inside the bathtub.
Housekeeping is available daily; just attach the 'Please Clean' sign (found on the back of your door) to the outside of your door if you'd like your room serviced.
The hotel's facilities are typical for a Japanese budget chain hotel, nothing extraordinary to note. It's clean, and the service is decent. Its biggest selling point is definitely its proximity to Hakata Station, making it super convenient for taking the JR, subway, and Shinkansen.
GGuest UserWe booked a twin room Chapter4 with 2 small double beds. The space is big which is good for us as we have 2 active toddlers and it was just nice for them to move around in the room. Bed size is just nice. We requested kids toiletries and the hotel provided kid's toilet seat and toothbrush. Buffet breakfast option available but we didn't try as ¥3500/adult is a bit pricey. We settled breakfast at konbini steps away from the hotel. There is a small Cafe just next to the hotel for caffeine fix, nice coffee at reasonable price. No coin laundry available, I have to drive 5mins to get one. Location wise,, it took us about 10mins walk from Hakata station and that means quieter environment. In short, I recommend it for family stay with kids as it offers bigger room space, reasonable price, quiet environment and near to Hakata station.
GGuest UserGreat location. Be aware that breakfast can get crowded, so you might have to queue. The same goes for check-in at 3 PM, so it's best to go during off-peak hours if possible.
SSinsinisThe room is quite small, and it’s a bit difficult for two people to open their suitcases at the same time — we had to take turns. Other than that, everything was very good. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. I had seen reviews mentioning ikura, but it wasn’t available during my stay, which was a little disappointing. Still, I was overall very impressed.
