"Perfect for a cheap stay; better than what I expected. I was initially impressed by the tatami room but the whole interior felt like a comfortable home, a lot different from the typical hotel experience. There were interesting gas furnaces and the house felt like something out of a movie. It’s a quiet get away, and while the bus takes a while from Kawaguchiko, it’s definitely worth the time, and the views are awesome. The staff was very helpful and friendly, but not invasive to the experience, making it seem like I had the place to myself (awesome). I also recommend getting an all day sightseeing bus pass for however long you’re staying, as it’ll be cheaper than the ¥800 each trip in case you want food."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Glamping Villa. The Pao villa was beautifully spacious for the four of us. The staff truly made the experience exceptional; their care and flexibility for our late check-in, including preparing a superb BBQ dinner at a late hour, were outstanding. If we could suggest one small enhancement, it would be to extend checkout to 11 AM or noon."

"This hotel is coordinated by Ctrip. The boss can speak Chinese and helped us solve the problem of checking in at night as much as possible, and helped us book a taxi by phone for the next day. This is a row of tent hotels, suitable for self-driving and local outings. The original intention of establishing it is probably to welcome locals to drive out for BBQ. Due to traffic reasons, it is not suitable for tourists. Tourists usually go to Kawaguchiko Town to see Mount Fuji. Each tent is equipped with an independent BBQ area and matching stove. If you can use them, you will feel that the price/performance ratio is very high. But we are just tourists and have no use for it. The boss's enthusiasm brought warmth to our group in a helpless night."

"Fantastic experience! It was super clean and convenient, with everything we needed. We saw the starry sky at night, and there's a small attraction right outside the door. The air was fresh, and we could even see Mount Fuji. The biggest surprise of all was spotting a herd of wild deer with heart-shaped bottoms grazing nearby at night!"

All the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The hotel also has onsen facilities, including separate male and female as well as private onsen. Please book it with their traditional japanese dinner and breakfast packages for a full experience. The staffs at both reception and restaurants were always polite and friendly, with huge praise to the entire team. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

GGuest UserAn Unexpected Gem – One of the Best Resorts We’ve Ever Stayed At We booked this resort near Mount Fuji very late, and we were really worried because almost everything was already sold out. But it turned out to be one of the most wonderful stays we’ve ever had on any of our trips to Japan. The resort has several staff members who speak Vietnamese, and they helped us so much. Every time we needed to go somewhere, the shuttle bus took us to the station—even the times when I requested it late without booking an hour in advance, they still tried their best to arrange a pickup. Their kindness truly showed how much they care about their guests. From the driver to the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling. They were genuinely adorable and made us feel so welcomed. Our room was a huge surprise: a massive apartment-style space with four beds even though there were only two of us, plus two bathrooms. Everything was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The resort is located in a large forest, so the moment you step inside, you can smell the gentle scent of pine wood everywhere. The atmosphere feels grounding and refreshing—as if the Earth itself is recharging you. One of the best parts is that they have dedicated areas for pets. I got to play with some of the guests’ pets, and it was honestly such a sweet experience. Breakfast was delicious every morning, in a very authentic Japanese style. I went down for breakfast every day, and the dining area has a beautiful view of Mount Fuji—I even recorded some stunning videos there. I never imagined I would be able to book a resort this amazing. It seems like it has been operating for many years, with a rustic and warm charm that I absolutely fell in love with. Down at the reception area, they also sell all kinds of Mount Fuji souvenirs. When you’re out sightseeing in the Fuji area, you tend to buy a lot of souvenirs and snacks, which makes your bags very heavy—but the resort sells everything right there. I compared the prices, and they were actually much cheaper than the tourist spots, so we bought all our gifts there. Super convenient! I genuinely want to come back to this resort for future trips. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed, and I absolutely adore it. Highly, highly recommended.

Highly recommended the location of the hotel is near to the bus-stop also, from both directions. And the view was nice can see the Kawaguchigo lake but without Mount Fuji, because if the direction. Hotel breakfast was buffet style, various type of choices and Japanese food to pick!
