The hotel room was excellent. Huge, comfortable beds and pillows, great bathroom and the facilities overall was super. We got water bottles everyday, pyjamas and cleaning. The staff was really nice and helpful and I would definitely book this hotel again in the future. The breakfast was 5-star and had a lot of options for everyone. Best hotel on this holiday so far!
I would recommend it too my friends!

Second time staying here. It's incredibly convenient for visiting Kyoto this time, with direct access via the Keihan train. The hotel is very clean, and the check-in/out process is fully self-service. There's also an ATM right outside the hotel's basement level, which is super handy. This SOTETSU hotel is definitely my top choice whenever I'm in Osaka!

🎐 **Hotel Location**
The location is incredibly convenient! From JR Osaka Station, just look for the 3rd-floor connecting passage, and you can reach the hotel directly via a skywalk. It's connected to shopping malls like Lucua, Lucua 1100, and Grand Front Osaka.
🎐 **Malls Below the Hotel**
There are two malls directly below the hotel: Yodobashi Camera and Links. These two buildings are interconnected from B1 to the 5th floor.
The hotel lobby is on the 9th floor. You can take the escalator to the 8th floor of Links, which leads directly to the Harves supermarket on B1.
1. From the 9th-floor lobby, there are 4 elevators to the lower floors; 2 of them only go to floors 1, 2, and 8.
2. To catch the JR, go to the 2nd floor. On the 1st floor, right outside, there's a taxi stand, and across the street, you'll find a drugstore.
🎐 **Hotel Facilities and Services**
1. If you arrive at the hotel before check-in time, you can scan a QR code to register and store your luggage. After registering on your phone, take a screenshot and show it to the staff when you pick up your luggage.
2. Facilities are comprehensive, including toothbrushes, coffee, tea bags, and two microwaves, among others.
3. This time, I booked an accessible triple room (the difference is that the toilet and shower are open-plan, and there's no bathtub). It's spacious, the layout is the same as a deluxe triple room, but it's cheaper. The only downside is that the restroom was quite cold.
4. There are no disposable slippers, so I recommend bringing your own!
Overall, it's really convenient! The location is excellent, making transportation and shopping easy. It's also close to the airport limousine bus stop. I'll definitely stay here again!

The hotel's location is excellent. After taking the airport limousine bus to the Hotel New Hankyu stop, you just walk straight for about 2 minutes from the Daikoku Drugstore, which you'll see across the street from where you get off. The airport bus stop for departures is near the Hankyu train station, about a 7-8 minute walk away, and there are usually plenty of seats available.
Directly opposite the hotel is the Grand Front Osaka North Building. If you're shopping in Umeda, you can use the skybridge to the 1st floor of the North Building, cross the street, and you're back at the hotel. If you walk past Daikoku Drugstore, you'll reach Yodobashi, and further down are Lucua and the Osaka Metro station. Turning left at Daikoku will take you towards the Hankyu train lines, Hankyu Sanbangai, Animate, and Hep Five. There are also 7-Eleven and FamilyMart convenience stores nearby, as well as restaurants open at night.
The service is great too. The room was tidied impeccably every day, and all the facilities in the room are very new. The front desk has a microwave for heating food and a scale to weigh luggage.
Overall, it's a fantastic place, and I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Umeda.

We picked this hotel due to extremely convenient location and spa. This particular room type is good for family with one kid. We were able to laid 3nos big luggages.
The bedding is good and clean. We slept very well every evening.
It was hard to find out which underground exit has lift. So a take the photo of the closest 7-65 of the east mall is just 3min away from the hotel entrance.
Breakfast food mostly Japanese and has not much choice. One fish filled main dish. Then u can choose rice/udon/some side dishes. The cheese cake is yummy. If u stay more than 3 days, It is better to get a coffee and pastry from underground Cafe.
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Umeda Station in Osaka!

The hotel was decent, and the room size was acceptable. We booked a triple room for 2 adults and 1 child, and the price was reasonable.
The location is excellent, right in Umeda Higashi-dori. Downstairs, there are tons of places to eat, including an Ichiran Ramen. For breakfast, you can choose the buffet on the first floor, which looked pretty good. We opted for Doutor next door instead; we always grab sandwiches from there whenever we visit Japan.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from Umeda Station, not super close, but not too far either. The bed was really comfortable. The next morning at breakfast, I realized the room next to mine was the housekeeping linen closet, but I didn't hear any noise at all – maybe I just slept really soundly. The breakfast was exquisite, with five sets to choose from (as pictured). Exquisite, however, also means not very filling! But you can have unlimited rice, soup, and seaweed. I ended up eating several bowls of white rice with shichimi powder and seaweed. Plus, the rice dispenser was one of those fun machines where you press a button and the rice comes out – so cool! I ordered set #2, and the fish was delicious. Overall, the hotel is great, it's just that the price on Saturday night was double that of weekdays. Ouch, so expensive!

Overall is highly recommended. Location is good but not easy to find as the google map doesn’t work in Osaka station, we been lost for few times. Easily to reach shopping mall without go out, all is linked and easy to walk around. I was planning to go Umeda sky building, however i get to stay in 26 floor in the hotel. So i guess i have the same view. Sharing you all the view from my room, luckily i got the sunset room. I guess will be back for my next trip if the price is reasonable. The toilet is dark because the colour of wall is black. There is a guest meeting room on lower floor but it open from 10am to 10pm. It close too early and open too late. I am unable to use it.

I stayed at Hotel Kansai for four nights. Overall, the room was pretty good — comfortable and clean. The bathroom is very small, but that’s fairly standard for Japan, so no real surprise there.
The staff were great and very friendly, although check-in is self-service, so you don’t really need much help anyway.
There were a few negatives that are worth mentioning. One small but disappointing issue was dust behind the TV. It’s wall-mounted and very visible when you walk past every day, so it didn’t feel like something that was just missed once — it stood out.
In the new building, there is only one elevator and it’s very slow. That’s a minor issue, but the biggest problem by far is the Wi-Fi. It’s extremely unreliable. It connects, disconnects for several minutes, comes back briefly, then drops again. I tested this on three different devices (phone and laptop), and when it went down on one, it went down on all of them. When it works, the speed is actually very fast, which makes it even more frustrating. For anyone who needs to work online, this is a serious issue, and personally I wouldn’t stay here again unless the Wi-Fi is fixed.
Another thing to note is the location. It’s not as close to the subway as some people might think. There are bridges, underpasses, and mall connections, and if you’re new to the area it can be a bit confusing.
Noise is also something to be aware of. You can hear sounds from outside at night, like music or drums, and the walls seem quite thin — I could hear people snoring in nearby rooms. I didn’t sleep terribly, but I did wake up three or four times each night.
Finally, the room setup is very basic. There’s no proper chair, just a small wooden stool, which isn’t ideal if you want to sit comfortably for any length of time.
Overall, it’s a decent hotel and better than some places I’ve stayed, but not the best. I would consider staying again only if the Wi-Fi issues were properly addressed.

Amazing
GGuest UserEverything was great, just one small thing: the room was really, really tiny. It was hard to open our luggage, especially since we had three bags. But it was very clean, and the staff were very helpful. Check-in and check-out were self-service, and there's a McDonald's right next door, which was very convenient.
SSYL94I stayed here for 4 nights and had a really good overall experience. The location is super convenient, right in the heart of Dotonbori. You just need to cross the road to reach Shinsaibashi, which made shopping and exploring extremely easy. There are also multiple exits of Namba Station nearby, so transportation is very convenient.
The area is lively and full of food options, convenience stores, and shops, so everything you need is within walking distance. Despite being in such a busy area, the hotel itself feels comfortable and a good place to rest after a long day out.
I really enjoyed my stay at Acro and would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Osaka.
MM8492****This hotel is the closest to Universal Studios, just a few minutes' walk to the ticket gates, and offers full views of Universal Studios from the rooms. It's incredibly convenient to get to: you can take the subway from the airport, transfer once, and the hotel is just tens of meters from the exit. For Japan, the rooms are quite spacious, and the bathroom is sparkling clean with a separate wet and dry area. The lobby is luxuriously decorated with some futuristic, high-tech elements. Right outside the hotel is the Universal Citywalk, packed with eateries and Universal-themed shops. The food on Citywalk is all pretty good; the Gekko-ryu takoyaki is better than the other place, and the fried wagyu was also delicious. The subway from the airport gets you right to the hotel's doorstep with just one transfer, making transportation extremely convenient.
AAnonymous UserThe room was quite spacious, as advertised online. However, the sofa by the window sill didn't appear very clean under the lighting. The hotel offers a public bath and is conveniently located near Universal Studios. It was promoted as being the closest to the subway station, and one of the slightly more distant options from Universal itself. But in practice, all the hotels in this area are just a short walk from one another. With restaurants, 7-Eleven, Lawson, and Starbucks nearby, it's very convenient. The best part about staying near Universal is being able to enjoy the park until its 10 PM closing time, then grab a late dinner nearby before heading back to the hotel to unwind.
AAnonymous UserPay attention to the room size when booking. The location is unbeatable – within walking distance to Shinsaibashi, with a convenience store right outside, and the meeting point for day tours just at the corner. It's the top choice if you're planning to book a day tour. Breakfast was a bit simple.
MMaTheBreIn general, the hotel is absolutely ok. The price is affordable and the interior is new and wealthy. The location is recommendable with close public transport, a supermarket, convenience stores, and a coin laundry. The hotel has a shared room on the second floor with free coffee, tea, and water. Every day they have free beer happy hour from 6 to 7 including a DJ performance.
I would not recommend it to families with children or to people who prefer a “standard” hotel. Usually, hotels in Japan are super child-friendly, but there are no products for children (toothbrushes, pyjamas, slippers, etc.). The breakfast is in our opinion not worth it. It is good in terms of taste, but they do not have a buffet. There are some different sandwiches you can choose 3 (this is limited and when I asked why the answer was: “If they do not limit I could eat 10”. They have no variation in the sandwiches so when you have breakfast there for a week you've eaten all at least once or twice. Here as well nothing for kids so I paid full price breakfast for my son and the only thing he got was some juice. For us, another no-go was the super loud music in the public area (there is the breakfast room). You can enjoy your morning coffee with electronic dance music. The hotel has no laundry, but they offer a service. You can bring your clothes no matter how many and get them back for 5000¥ cleaned and dry. The coin washer 2minutes away is 900¥ for 8kg in 1h.
For younger people or for 1-2 nights absolutely ok. Breakfast better go out to one of the 1000 coffees and enjoy a wider choice.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient! It's right next to the subway station, and just a few minutes' walk to popular shopping and dining areas like Kuromon Market, Shinsaibashi, and Dotonbori – you'll find everything you need for food, drinks, and entertainment. Plus, the hotel offers complimentary bread and drinks for breakfast. Overall, it's great value for money! 👍
GGuest UserI had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Osaka Namba. The location is absolutely superb — just a few steps away from Dotonbori, making it incredibly convenient for food, shopping, and exploring the vibrant nightlife.
The room size was a pleasant surprise, especially for Japan. We were able to fully open two large suitcases comfortably, which made a huge difference during our stay. The daily cleaning service was spectacular — everything was always spotless and well-organized when we returned each day.
We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities like complimentary water and coffee. A special mention goes to the lovely Dove shampoo, soap, conditioner, and lotion — such a nice touch that made the stay even more comfortable.
Overall, an excellent choice in Osaka, and I would definitely stay here again!
VVinzy NgGood hotel with spa with mediocre services.
The room was neat, clean and feeling new.
However, staffs are not familiar with English, not even talking Mandarin. Using the translator with poor voice input was troublesome and sometimes it interpreted wrong meanings.
Room service if missed will not be provided again on that day.
Also, there were many spa-only visitors simply lying on the spa floor.
Parts of the male spa were under construction and one night there were no 40 degree Celsius or higher pool as they were all under cleaning at the same time.
The ground of the spa was very slippery, mostly because many visitors did not bother to rinse themselves well after using the conditioner.
The breakfast buffet is good in terms of food choices and environment. But I dislike the scrambled eggs, which had a texture tasted awful.
YYuuJinnThis hotel is near to the tengachaya station, where you need to walk 5 minutes to reach. I personally think that it was convenient and being able to stay in a quiet neighbourhood. The only complaint I have, was that there was no receptionists at the front desk. This hotel promotes a self-check-in hotel but I felt a little bit inconvenient that I had to message through line to contact the person in charge.
