Hotels near Main Post Office, Bangkok

"Best quality hotel in Bangkok at this price range. The room is spacious, clean & charming. The accommodation of this hotel starts from 8th floor to 20th floor, so the boarder can enjoy the modern Bangkok city view from the top floor in a large glass. The swimming pool is on the 7th floor. It is not so big but well arranged. You can feel the rooftop swimming pool. There is a well equipped gym just beside the swimming pool. The amenities are good quality but all are not available in the room. The guest needs to ask to get this. The staff behaviour is polite but the receptionist is just robotic. Overall, I recommend this hotel"

"Very cute little hotel, perfectly located in Bang rank area. Can walk to the pier for taking the ferry and crossing directly to IconSiam. Close to Labua rooftop and the art district up to China town.  Rooms are small but lovely. The isolation could be better but totally fine.  Would recommend!"

"This hotel is suitable for solo travelers because it located near tourist attractions such Chinatown, Asiatique, & Icon Siam etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel! :D"

"The hotel is conveniently located near the metro. Despite the windows facing the street, the room is quiet at night. The beds are comfortable, the room is clean. Everything you need is provided (toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair dryer, shower gel, hand gel, slippers, drinks in the fridge, tea, coffee, kettle, safe, smart TV). The breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection of dishes and sauces for every taste, and lots of sweets. We didn't use the pool, but it looks very clean. The view from the top is great. The staff is friendly."

"Excellent stay! We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The reception and all staff members were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful at all times. The hotel was spotlessly clean and extremely hygienic, which made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. On top of that, the location is absolutely perfect — convenient and ideal for exploring the area. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!"

"Wonderful stay at Mercure Bangkok Surawong! Staff's surprised me with a thoughtful birthday setup — towel cake, brownies & a handwritten card from the Front Office Manager, Ms. Jatuphat Taraphoom. Room was cozy, modern, with a balcony and great layout. Big thanks to Front Desk & Concierge for their amazing service. Thai hospitality at it’s best. Highly recommend!"

"This is my second time staying at this hotel. The entire hotel environment and room views are top-notch. You can watch a drone show at night. The outdoor breakfast area is very comfortable. Also, a special thank you to the hotel for providing a birthday cake for my mother to celebrate her birthday. Thank you!"

"Such a cute little gem in Bangkok! The Vintage Room was filled with beautiful touches like modern retro furniture, old-school books. It made me feel like I stepped into another time brown fantasy. Everything was super clean and comfy, and I loved the smell of fresh linen. Great location too, close to BTS and good food spots. Really unique vibe compared to usual hotels. And yeah the best part is theyet my cat stay for free. We travel a lot in Asia and this is second time that my cat stayed for free. Very cool that they see our kids(pets) as family not income. Great job to management!"

"I love everything about this hotel, starting from the owner to every staffs, they are very nice and helpful. The room is nice and clean, the bed is very comfortable. I really recommend this hotel.🥰"

"Overall, it’s a great place to stay. By the end of our trip we felt happy and relaxed, but at the very beginning there were a few issues. The check-in process took more than 40 minutes, and we were sent to the wrong suite, which wasn’t ready (maintenance was still going on). They did upgrade us to a better room and sent complimentary treats — big respect to them for that. Because of this, we saw two different room types, and I can say they were very different! The more expensive rooms are much better and have a decent view. Despite booking a Large One-Bedroom Suite, the original room didn’t feel worth the price they charge. Breakfast is really worth it — I was especially impressed with the drip coffee station where you can grind beans and make your own pour-over coffee. The gym and swimming pool are just the bare minimum for a hotel of this class. The most annoying part was the construction work at the hotel entrance. The main lobby was closed because of it, so you have to enter either through the car park (with no sidewalk, of course) or through a half-closed entrance covered in dust."
