Great location and affordable price. The room was very clean and the hotel has its own parking, which is convenient if you're driving. They even offered a small gift upon check-in, which was a nice touch. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

With the nice price of USD 68 on 14/2, poor mattress, dated towels, tiring rooms, extremely crazy roaring loud air-con engine at room 2112, lazy staff at the towel counter, are all acceptable.
Nice pools safe and clean, excellent location with 4 min walk to beach, the hotel also provide hair conditioner, soap, 4 bottles of water daily, fridge, balcony to dry clothes, bubble pool for children, nice little plants in pot on table, 7-11 convenient store & street food stall, massage shops, Japanese restaurant Ronin, steak house, cafe, just outside hotel, are all big bonus!

Cleanliness:
Overall, the cleanliness was acceptable. However, there was some dust on the floor. The chair in the room was upholstered in fabric and had several visible stains.
Location & Accessibility:
I traveled to the hotel by car. The hotel is close to Terminal 21, but it is located at the very end of a narrow alley. If you are traveling without a car, you will need to take a taxi to get around. There is a Tops Market about 150 meters from the hotel, but there are no other convenient facilities nearby.
Noise & Soundproofing:
I hardly noticed any noise inside the room. It was generally quiet and peaceful.
Room Features:
I stayed in the Grand Superior Panorama Sea View room. Although this room type is considered relatively large within the hotel, it felt smaller than I expected. However, the balcony was very spacious. The sea view was absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of my stay.
Pros:
The staff were extremely friendly and always greeted guests with bright smiles. The hotel breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes. The hotel’s private beach is small but very relaxing. You can also see the Sanctuary of Truth next to the hotel, and the overall views are outstanding.
Cons:
The TV in the room is not a smart TV, which may be a drawback for guests who prefer to relax indoors. There is no table inside the room, so when eating or relaxing, I had to move the table from the balcony into the room. The hotel does not have on-site parking. The designated parking area is about 200 meters away. Although the hotel provides a free shuttle service between the hotel and the parking lot, it can be inconvenient.

The hotel is very conveniently located. It's 5-7 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to Terminal 21. The grounds are green, and the pool is nice, large, and clean. I didn't smell any chlorine. But!! This is definitely not a 4-star hotel! The outlets in the room aren't European-standard, and Wi-Fi is only available at reception. The shower head doesn't stay on the counter, so you have to hold the shower in your hand. There were no towels or a kettle when I checked in, but they brought them immediately upon request. The towels are really washed-out and sometimes torn, but they change them daily. The lighting in the room is very dim. The air conditioner is old and noisy, but it doesn't blow directly onto the bed. However, after 2 or 3 days, the noise starts to get annoying at night. The receptionists are very friendly. I would recommend this hotel for budget travelers. Despite all the shortcomings mentioned, I would stay here again. The price is normal, there are no insects or rodents of any kind, and the proximity to the beach and shopping centers is excellent.

The room had been renovated, but there was no strange odor at all, and the sea view was beautiful. Breakfast was also very extensive, and the dining area was spacious, so there was no need to wait for a table. The water entertainment facilities were basically unbeatable, with a wide variety of options that the kids absolutely loved. Besides that, there were plenty of family activities, making it perfect for a vacation with children. It's worth mentioning that the hotel has a medical room, so when my child got a minor injury, it was handled promptly. The front desk manager was also very attentive; even after we checked out, he gave us his business card and said we could contact him with any issues, which we greatly appreciated! The only minor drawback was that the room cleaning was a bit sloppy – they mostly just made the bed and tidied the bathroom, but the floors and tabletops were hardly cleaned.

I recently stayed at Akara Hotel Pattaya and overall had a pleasant experience, though there are a few areas that could be improved.
Firstly, I would like to thank the hotel team for the complimentary room upgrade, which came with a beautiful sea view. The room was comfortable and the view definitely enhanced the stay.
However, the check-in and check-out process took quite a long time, which made the arrival and departure experience less smooth than expected. I hope the hotel can improve the efficiency of the front desk during busy periods.
Another point to note is that during my stay there were many large tour groups, mainly Chinese tourists. While I understand this is common in Pattaya, the noise level in public areas at times became quite disturbing for other guests who were looking for a quieter and more relaxing stay.
Additionally, the toiletries provided in the room were quite basic. It would be great if the hotel could include more amenities such as body lotion and additional bathroom essentials to enhance the guest experience.
Overall, I appreciate the hospitality and the upgraded room with the sea view, but with improvements in front desk efficiency, guest crowd management, and bathroom amenities, the stay could be much more enjoyable.

The overall ambiance is very Thai. I booked it based on the photos of the environment. Most of the guests staying here are Russian. You can tell this hotel is quite old, even though it's been renovated. The bathroom, especially the toilet, is pretty mediocre and outdated. The service was just so-so; we didn't receive a welcome drink when we arrived, but other foreign guests did. Out of the four hotels I booked for this trip to Thailand, this was the only one that charged us for our child's breakfast, whereas the others didn't charge extra. As for the location, if you're used to staying around Soi 1 and Soi 2, this place is relatively less convenient. It's close to Terminal 21, but still at least a ten-minute walk, which is hard for kids in the hot Thai weather. I wouldn't highly recommend it.

Had a great experience! The front desk staff spoke a little Chinese, which made check-in super easy. Everyone was very polite – they even helped me with my luggage as soon as I got out of the car. Plus, they have a shuttle every hour to Pattaya Beach and Terminal 21. The breakfast was delicious too. I'll definitely come back next time!

MMIC. JI chose this hotel with room size as my top priority because I dislike small, cramped spaces. Many hotels post exaggerated photos that look disappointing in person, but this one looked exactly like the pictures. The room had a balcony, which made it enjoyable to step outside and admire the view occasionally. I especially liked how the air conditioner frame was built into the structure—it made the balcony look very clean and organized. However, the outdoor unit was quite noisy, which was a bit uncomfortable. Modern system air conditioners are much quieter these days, so I hope you’ll consider replacing it during your next renovation.
The wooden interior gave the room a calm and cozy feeling, and the shower was completely separate, so no water splashed out. My socks stayed dry for once, which was great. However, the toilet paper holder was placed awkwardly behind me, which made it a bit inconvenient—this could be improved.
The hotel created a small garden area next to the lobby café, and the trees there were truly beautiful. They’re about three stories tall—not many of them, but with enough variety in species to really make you feel like you’re in the tropics. It’s clear they take excellent care of the plants, and I loved that.
I also really liked the hotel lobby itself. It’s spacious and open, with a grand feeling comparable to many 5-star hotels. The only downside is that it was too dark. The café, too, was such a nice space, but because of the dim lighting, I didn’t even realize it was open at first and just walked by. If the lobby were a bit brighter and the café more lively, it could bring in a lot of additional revenue from those facilities.
The male front desk staff with long hair spoke excellent English, and the female staff were all very kind. The doormen were also genuinely courteous—it felt natural, not forced. That said, sometimes having the door opened every single time can feel a bit unnecessary, so perhaps that could be adjusted. It might depend on the individual housekeeper, but after cleaning, the bed sheets weren’t tightly stretched, and the floor didn’t seem to have been properly cleaned. There was something slippery on the floor, and it stayed that way for several days, which made it quite uncomfortable. It would be much better if the housekeeping staff could first vacuum thoroughly to remove all the dust and then clean the floor with a damp mop to make it fresh and safe.
Finally, one last suggestion: unlike hotels in many other countries, the TV wasn’t a large smart TV, so Netflix and YouTube weren’t available. It would be great if that could be improved.
I wish the hotel continued success and prosperity.

EEven-wangI've been staying at the Caesar Palace Hotel every time I visit Pattaya, and it's been many times now. The service is excellent, and the AC works wonderfully. The only minor drawback is that the rooms use traditional keys, and they only provide one. Other than that, everything, both the facilities and the overall service, is great. This time, however, I noticed the bellboys weren't as proactive. Still, the hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of Pattaya. Thumbs up! 👍

GGuest UserOn the second day, I slept in until noon. Too lazy to switch hotels, I just extended my stay. However, the room wasn't cleaned that night. Heads up: if you extend your stay, make sure to get your room cleaned before 5 PM! The air conditioner broke down several times, and I had to drag a chair over to restart it myself. Cleanliness was acceptable. As for the environment, please refer to my previous review; the room and balcony show signs of age, but at least the bed, wardrobe, and table are new. They provide a bar of soap, which is handy for a quick wash of light summer clothes you've worn all day, then hanging them to dry on the balcony! Front desk service was mediocre.
I lost 1000 Thai Baht. When I took money out of my pocket to pay the deposit, I must have fumbled putting it back and it probably fell on the ground! Most hotels in Bangkok don't even require a deposit, and this extra step just creates more opportunities for problems. I also lost a pair of slippers. I only realized it when I got to my next hotel. I was too lazy to come back and ask on the second day, but when I did on the third day, they said they couldn't find them.
I didn't even notice the swimming pool initially. It's located outdoors in the backyard. I only found out about it and went to take pictures when I came back to ask about the slippers. The young man near the side door by the front desk was very helpful. Otherwise... I wouldn't even want to give this rating!

The location is decent, fairly close to the main areas without being right in the middle of the chaos, which makes it a good balance between convenience and quiet.
