Labranda Alyssa Suite Hotel

We booked this last minute for some much needed winter sun. Lovely hotel with extremely friendly staff. The room was lovely and large and very clean. We were in room 504 which was on the ground floor with a large patio and stunning views towards Fuerteventura. There were 2 large pools and a baby pool. The smaller of the 2 pools was heated and pleasant to use. The other one was unheated and freezing. There were plenty of sun beds around the pool, but as it was the beginning of January it was pretty quiet, We were extremely lucky with the weather. It was hot and sunny all day with average temperatures off about 22/23 degrees. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the lack of choice of food. The food was tasty but not enough choice and variety. We ate out 1 night as it was my birthday at Mamma Rossa on the seafront. It was amazing and I highly recommend it. We walked here which took around 30 mins and then took a taxi back which was €5 There is an excellent local bus service that runs every 30 mins and costs a flat fare of €1.40. Ideal for going to Marina Rubicón which is well worth a visit. Overall a lovely relaxing holiday. I would definitely recommend the Alyssa Suites and can’t wait to return.

Very clean complex. Staff good. Rooms excellent. Sea views from some. Pools and bar good. Restaurant !!. Breakfast very good. Lunch inadeqauate better off with burger or toastie from pool bar. Evening meal no better. Would have expected better from four star. Plenty of choice but not good. Hot food section poor. Having said that the veiws from outside terrace brilliant.

This hotel is a 3 star not a 4 or even close! It is disgusting the rooms are filthy and run down, i literally feel like I want to go buy cleaning products and deep clean the room. The cleaner comes and makes the beds up only if you leave card on the bed I think she runs a mop over but the floor is filthy still you can feel the dirt on your feet I put socks on my child he had them on 10 mins and I had to change them. I don’t think the bathroom gets cleaned they empty the bins. The cups that are in the room get rinsed not replaced. The refill cups at the pool for drinks literally get put into a disgusting bin outside to be reused (let’s hope they go in the dishwasher) the hotel overall is run down the seats in the dining areas are falling apart. The service is not the best the staff look very miserable. The pool area is dirty also I have yet to see them clean the pool the sunbeds are disgusting. This hotel is also quite far out so it is a taxi ride in and out of playa blanca. Please do not waste your money on this hotel. If you do choose to book bring a jumper for a night! Also the hotel does not accept cash only card which would have been nice to know in advance. There is also no shop near the hotel. Terrible experience really gutted we picked here.

We visited the hotel on day passes due to a morning check out from our villa and an evening flight home. Was very impressed with all of the service - including emails etc in advance. Found it to be excellent value for money. Not too busy around the pool, lunch was really good. Managed to get access to a room for an additional fee to change etc- room was lovely with a spacious sun terrace. Overall we were really impressed - may well return to stay next time!

Food was great in restaurant not so good in snack bar- poor quality and often cool. Staff very friendly. Rooms were lovely layout.. nice and private and relaxing . Although some of the floor tiles on sun deck could do with replacing or repairing. Pools freezing. Not enjoyable to use. Wi fi non existent- had to use mobile internet the entire stay. No uk TV channels. Bed settee was terrible, unusable as a bed- both it and the shower needs updated. Don’t want to make it sound bad as we had a lovely time and would go back again… but improving the items I mentioned would go a long way

Hotel is amazing. Rooms, food drinks staff all amazing and so friendly and happy to help. The hotel is clean well maintained by everyone. The food choices were all cooked fresh and a variety of dishes to choose from. The drinks on the all inclusive were branded but be careful for cocktails of the day as there five euros. Animation team, wow where do I start. Imera ran all the day and night time entertainment on her own. She was super friendly, fun organised and amazing with the kids she's a credit to the hotel. We completed the volcano hike with imera and it was a moment we will treasure forever. We had a fantastic holiday and will be returning.

Wonderful rooms, lots of space in semi detached bungalows. Free safe, daily bottled water to put in fridge. Although tea and coffee trays are not refilled after arrival, we were informed it was ok to take milk tea etc from restaurant. Even ok to refill our water bottles. Keep hydrated! Hot water for lovely shower at all times of day. Cleaners were very good, and attended daily. Towels and bedding changed as requested. We could even have towels for poolside, which was nice. Food pretty good, quite varied and a decent choice for all meals. I was only disappointed when certain favourites didn't get repeated as I'd hoped lol! Occasional surprise thrown in, eg a barbecue on one night with disco and light show by the pool. We even had our faces painted! All staff were very friendly and hard working, a credit to the hotel. We loved Elizabeth, who organised daily and evening entertainment. Pocket rocket, lots of fun and enthusiasm. Missed her on our final weekend as she was away on holiday. No need to reserve sunbeds by the pool, plenty of them. Cold water though, but quite enjoyable once in the water! Only negative was that someone gave keys to our room to new arrival family, which was a shock late one evening. No real apology from Reception, which was disappointing to say the least. Heaven knows what the family thought, trying to get in our room as we lay reading after late night drink. Good job we had our key in the lock on our side of the door! We enjoyed the stay so much though, that we hope to come again. Enjoyed the walks nearby (go up Montana Roja! Recommended!), used local bus to the resort centre now and again , 1 euro 40 on Number 30 bus. We explored by doing a complete loop on the bus. There are restaurants aplenty if you need them, and good taxi service if you didn't fancy the walk to more distant ones. Twenty minute walk down to closest beach, but an enjoyable alternative to pool. Water was just as cold though lol! All staff were superb on any dealings we had, from Reception, cleaning, restaurant and bar. Always smiling and relaxed, generating calmness for guests. Loved them all! I can see why so many we spoke to were returning guests.

Just returned from a fantastic weeks holiday @ Labranda Alyssa Suite Hotel in a 1 bed apartment / suite Playa Blanca, Lanzarote with my fiancée Superb place brilliant location & excellent food we couldn’t have asked for anymore, the centre of the complex has 3 pools of various size / depths set between the pool bar & restaurant main building area. We walked to flamingo beach several times & it’s a 15 min walk at most, we got the local bus to playa Blanca Marina which is a stunning area & walked back to our hotel along the boardwalk a little over 1/2 hour. The staff @ Labranda are so helpful, the complex the restaurant are so clean & so good everyone will find something to eat. Just book it you won’t be disappointed, we’ll definitely be going back as we both loved it
