Best Hotels in Liettres, France

This is a tale of 2 halves. When I tried to book online, I wanted 3 rooms but every time I tried to pay I got the message saying that these rooms were not available. I was booking through the All - Accord site - their own. I tried 9 times using different debit and credit cards. I finally emailed the hotel and was told that they could book the rooms for me but the price was higher. I explained this and even sent a screenshot of the price that the site quoted - but to no avail. Eventually, I tried booking each room as a separate transaction and was successful. I did complain to the CEO but they just responded that they didn’t have evidence of my doing that even though I offered to provide it as I’d used a cashback site and they recorded my attempts. This was utterly disappointing. Second half - the hotel was lovely as were the staff. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable . Although an extra, there was secure parking at the back. The bar was open until 2 a.m. it was a great stay.

I have seen bad opinions, however, regarding this price, the cuisine of Mr, Madam in serious and careful services. The best way to get the best of the world is to get the best of the world. ... know ... But the little more that does Quality ... These patrons have widely understood it and offer it at a price so studied. Ibis far behind, nothing equivalent in this city, used to be from Plaza , Four seasons or others De Crillon, environ George IV, Paris. Here and whatever the critics, we must respect if we have been a client. Madam, sir, I thank you and I will be back very certainly, to find warmth, ambience, respect and pleasure. Well to you. Y. We checked into this hotel by a friendly receptionist, who told us the restaurant was open from 7-10pm. The room was very cramped and warm but clean. We had a drink at the bar and wandered into the empty restaurant, it being Sunday evening we assumed it would remain quiet. A waitress placed a tub of popcorn on our table and left. A little while later she returned and asked us if we had a reservation, to which we replied no, we didn't know we needed to make one. The waitress looked very angry and marched off. When she passed by again I asked her if she was busy, I've never had such an angry response, she glared at me, said yes and walked off. We left and finished our drinks in the bar. The other lady on duty asked what was wrong and when I explained, she excused the rude waitress, telling us it was a communication issue! It was not, the waitress was angry and was determined to let us know just how. The reply to my email from the manageress once again tried to defend this waitress with the communication excuse. This was the last night of our holiday, what a memory we were left with..

Well I’m pretty picky but we had a really good dinner at this hotel. We picked the middle menu (40 euros) and after a very tasty amuse bouche of smoked salmon and chive cream, we tucked into an artisan foie gras served with an apricot tarte tatin and a delicious slice of gingery pain d’epices. I had a duck shepherd’s pie and my husband had a veal chop. We then grazed a vey extensive cheese board. All this was washed down with a really delicious bottle of St Nicholas de Bourgueil. The dining room is light and airy and the service friendly. The rooms are clean with showers and coffee machines. You can park outside your room. A really good stop for a first or last night in France
