This hostel is operated like a 2-star hotel, providing cozy room with private bathroom and comfortable bed. The business must've undergone major renovation in recent years as everything looks new, practical and comfortable. It is also conveniently located close to the Rossio Metro station and all attractions including Castelo de S. Jorge Castle, the Lisbon Cathedral and Praça do Comércio.

Luxurious, huge room for 3. Beds are comfy and their sheets smells so good and clean. There’s fridge and hair dryer. Big Bathroom too. And the location is just perfect. We love Lisbon and staying in this hotel was really a good decision. It was a wonderful stay.

We booked a room for few days in this very central location in Lisbon – obviously close to the famous Lift, and within walking distance of many interesting places. The hotel is newly renovated, and we had an upgrade to the new Lift Apartments. It could be used for a large family or even two families and has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The TV had many channels, including English speaking and free access to for instance Netflix. And by the way, super wi-fi. The breakfast was delicious. We experienced service throughout the hotel, just what you would expect and even more. We had a friendly and informative welcome mail before arrival, friendly service at the reception, generous staff for breakfast and again friendly cleaning staff. The last day we received a handwritten personal greeting from the staff – a small gesture, however, much appreciated.

Pictures on the website are from the new building and be aware that once you arrive you can get one of the old rooms (which are dirty with old furniture and insects) that belongs to the next building which is the Estrella Dos Santos PENSION , and they will charge you the same amount as you stayed in a hotel ($232 for two nights) . They put us in a terrible dirty , very tiny room with no view (there was a wall ). We paid for triple room but because they needed to removed/clean an smashed spider from the dirty wall and some stained/dirty sheets from the room they give us a doble room ”while we wait ” (in the same building Pension) the manager said that we will stay there for our whole stay and charged us for a triple room when we stayed in an awful double room. We chose this place for the reviews -8.5 stars (! ) , for the ”laundry service” and the for 17 minutes walk to Saint George Castle, once you are there they say that there is no laundry service and we have to walk almost half hour to get to the Castle and to the CENTER. We felt very foolish. This is the first time that we had a terrible experience thanks to the very poor skills of a manager who treated us like they were doing us a favor. Unfortunately, we couldn't cancel this reservation because we paid when we arrived at the reception area which was very nicely decorated, after this, they sent us to the next building which is connected with the new building. And of course the manager didn't want to refund us at least with the difference for the price of the triple room with a double. I do not recommend this place. Pictures can show themselves

I am deeply dissatisfied with the online booking service offered by Zenhotels. I made a reservation for what I thought would be a private room with 2 pets allowed and made a payment of 97 euros, which according to the booking confirmation received, was the total amount for the reservation. I was supposed to only pay 6 euros for the tourist tax and 10 euros per pet for the entire stay. Upon arrival at the hotel (WOT Lisbon Nomad), I was informed that the reservation I had made did not correspond to a private room and that in order to get one, I would have to pay an additional 234.51 euros on top of the already paid 97 euros (this would be for the upgrade to a private room + 10 euros per day per pet). Obviously, this news at the time of check-in and with such a price difference (more than three times the original value) makes it almost impossible for the customer to seek an alternative. Furthermore, I tried to explain to the hotel that the website was not very clear about private or shared rooms, as the room description did not indicate that it was shared. Additionally, it did not mention that the payment for the pets was per day rather than for the entire stay. The person responded that if the website did not have complete information, it was not the hotel's problem. I countered that if they were selling their services through third parties, they are just as responsible as the website promoting them to ensure that the information is accurate; otherwise, they are complicit in a scheme to deceive customers. Finally, I decided not to proceed with the proposal because I found it disrespectful, an excessive charge compared to the original offer, and unprofessional. Therefore, I feel that I was cheated out of the 97 euros that I paid and that I could not use the offered service.

Comfortable, clean and well run. The staff were helpful in clarifying travel issues such as the intermittent rail strike. Our room was good but the lift, although claiming to fit 4 people, is really big enough only for 2 and I think a sizeable hotel. should have more. On the plus side you can get up almost as early or late as you like, because the buffet breakfast is served from 6.30 a.m. to midday. And the dawn chorus of twittering birds outside the window is nice if you like that sort of thing. The hotel is not as central as its title implies and in the area there's a shortage of evening entertainment in the way of bars. A couple of good restaurants, the Churrascaria and the Hamro Ghar (Nepalese, would you believe!) serve good food and beer however.

I stayed four days in the WOT hostel in Lisbon, what means three nights. The hostel in in a great neighborhood, fun places around all the time, service is fun, they are 7/24 there to help you with all kind of informations about the city. Every night they had an activity (drink nights and even a movie night) for the early hours, there is this cool guy organizing party-visiting together for very reasonable prices, the beer is cheep, the common area is just perfect for chilling and to make new friendships very easily. If i plan my trip again to Lisbon (and i will, because that's one of the must fun cities I've ever been in my life), i'm sure i will book in WOT again. (I got they recyclable cup for memory.:))

This is our second time at Rossio Hostel - we thought it the best hostel we'd ever stayed at in 2019, and now it is even better. Not enough words to tell you everything great about it - though if we boil it down to two words it would be THE PEOPLE who work there are what makes it amazing. Sunday Fado night is not to be missed - when we were there Rossio brought in Jessica Fernandez, who is an amazing singer and she was backed by two highly skilled guitar players - one on classical guitar and one on the Portuguese guitar. Pizza night on Wednesday also included a cover band that was a lot of fun. Aside from all this Rossio Hostel is in a fantastic old building from the late 1700s/early 1800s (post-earthquake) - lots of character. Rossio sits right on Rossio Square - a very central part of Lisbon with the metro and trains right outside your doot. Now, as to what makes Rossio Hostel really stand out - well, that is the people. A big thank you, and kudos, to the staff at Rossio: Madalena, Leavis (hope I'm spelling your nake right my friend), Rita, Paula, Mackayla (also hoping I get your name right), Victoria and especially Elsa who cooked up amazing scrambled eggs and crepes Monday to Friday. I didn't catch the name of the weekend cook - also a big thank you to you and the young lady helping you on the weekend. There are other staff that I didn't have a chance to get their names. The staff at Rossio Hostel make you feel like you are at home - my partner and I also felt like we were part of their family for the six days we were there. The big downside to Rossio Hostel is when you have to leave - the staff make it really hard to leave, because they make you feel so welcome and at home. We've been there twice and we will absolutely be back. If there were a way to give a rating higher than 10 we would certainly do it. Thanks again to everyone at Rossio Hostel for making our trip so special and memorable.
