It is not a true resort but just a hotel. Going into it I was not aware there were two buildings on the property. The new building looks new and matches the lobby. This old Hilton they obtained needs an immediate overhaul. The room and hallway was clean though. The shower didn’t work properly, caulking, there is a chain lock on door.
After 10 you had to key into building which is great but on old building you had to key into first floor but if you walked up the outside steps to 2nd floor it was just open. No key fob pad.
The property is near nothing so you need a car which you will have to valet even though parking was plentiful. Restaurant menu is limited.
The staff and servers were exceptional.

I was so anticipating this place, but sadly, it was underwhelming. The king room was small, cramped, and bland looking. I know it said our room would have a resort view, but seriously, my window butted up against parked cars about 3 feet off my patio. We also had the bonus of the first floor ice unit being on the other side of our wall, which periodically made a loud grinding/scraping sound and smelled of overheated rubber, and kept me up most of the night. Definitely not worth the exorbitant price I paid. Service at the poolside restaurant was very slow (we were one of only 4 tables) and the food was very average and a little cold when we finally got it. The beach area was nice, so I’ll give them points for that. Sorry, but wouldn’t stay here again.

What a beautiful beach resort!! We completely enjoyed our stay at Zota Beach Resort. The entire staff delivers great service. Our room was wonderful and the bed and pillows very comfortable. The pool is heated and we could swim no matter the temperature outside. Pool and beach service-available for drinks and food. The food was so delicious!! The staff work so hard so you can enjoy your vacation. And there are fun extras like Cornhole, a ping pong table outside, a large chess game, Connect Four and hammocks near the pool and beach. Guests have access to complimentary beach chairs ( chaise loungers ) side tables and bottled water at the beach. Beach Cabanas and umbrellas are extra. And you get drink and food service at the beach. You want for nothing while staying here!!
This was our first visit to Zota Beach Resort but not our last.

The Concierge promised a bottle of Champagne fo my Birthday yesterday which was promised to my wife. That was a big disappoint

I would give a overall rating of 3.8. Room service food was cold but good. The hotel,area and beach were beautiful. Just being picky but the hotel looks like a expensive renovation has occurred. Materials are top notch, craftsmanship and installation was sub-par. Our suite was a little run down, but traveling with pets, this was one of the nicest pet rooms. The employees were a A➕ .
