The location is excellent, just a few meters from the coastal road. The (sportboat) port is only 200 metres away, so you can walk on the sea side to the other end of the place to take the ferry there. The hotel is conducted by two business-made ladies, who made me a stick for a single trip room 140 euros, which was clearly too much. Unfortunately, in open windows, sleep is hardly thought, because in about 30 meters away the freight trains pass, if you have the room to the wrong side. The bathroom was newly made, beautiful tiles and a modern shower. After a long time, finally an overnight stay in this beautiful hotel. Closed because of Covid, but now open again. Good: Friendly staff, very nicely furnished rooms (especially deluxe rooms and up). Hotel is in much need of some updates. The sheets and bedding were all ripped and ball-y and the carpets are stained. One pillow each on bed. We were really disappointed after staying at the hotel majestic in bologna. Would not rate this as a 5 star hotel more like 3. Location is great and breakfast buffet was just ok. Most hotels now let you order omelets or eggs how you like, we missed that. This is our 4th time to the lakes and we would not stay here again. Hotel needs some painting and updates to rooms

The views of the mountains from the room are drop dead gorgeous. I wanted to sit outside 24/7 to watch how the change in light affected the views of the mountains. We loved sightseeing during the day and then returning in the late afternoon to relax on our balcony and then to enjoy a most delicious dinner on the balcony. The pizzas were perhaps our favorite in all of Italy. The two sister owners were so accomodating and friendly, as was the restaurant staff and the front desk. We stayed in May when it was not very busy and it was wonderful - quiet/personalized service. In terms of food, the breakfast was also very good - variety/great coffee. I am grateful to our friends who recommended this hotel - it is in a great location to see many sights and has amazing views.

I had 2 wonderful days on the Lake maggiore! I could not pick a better location. The hotel is located in an antic palace that made me feel like nobility in the 18th century. The room was very clean and spacious, as well as cozy. Like being in your own bedroom, but with no noises and a much better view 😀 The breakfast was amazing. From eggs and bacon to the home made cakes, cookies and everything in between. In only 2 days I was able to refresh and recharge, surrounded by the famous kindness of the Italian hosts. Thank you. You will see me again for sure 🙌🏻🌸
