Hotels near Torre Arias Palace in Madrid

I love this hotel. The staff are very friendly and even help me to learn Spanish! The hotel is small enough to be peaceful and very pretty. It's near the metro but in a lovely part of Madrid. It's really good for solo travelers, the breakfast is well worth it, the pool is fabulous. It's t perfect place to relax and see Madrid from. It's not a busy place for Nightlife but you can go out easily if you want from here. The beds are big and I love the rooms. I can't fault this hotel for a place to relax and hope to come again and again. Thank you to the manager and all the staff.

The room is very small, there is no shopping mall nearby, and the dining spots are also very small. But the front desk service is okay. Breakfast was average. There is an exhibition nearby for business, so you can still stay here.

I chose this hotel mainly because it is relatively closer to the airport (I have an early flight next morning) - when I came from the airport in a car around 1pm, it took 20 minutes. When I left the hotel to go to the airport at around 9:30am, it took about 15 minutes. Windows cannot be opened “for your safety”. 🙂 it allows early check in, but at €10 🙂 it allows you to store your luggage there for free 😐 it you need a hairdryer or a kettle, you need to put down €10 deposit. They will return it to you when you give it back. Just less convenient 😕 the “free wifi” as seen in my booking page is only for the lobby. You need to pay €3.99 to use wifi in the room. Not expensive but just doesn’t make you feel good. 😕 there was hair on my bedsheet, though not a lot (I saw two short curly ones which doesn’t look like hair from head…)

When it comes to traveling, whether for leisure or business, booking the right hotel with suitable facilities and located at the right location for a reasonable price can be notoriously tricky. When reading reviews, it's also important to remember. While some people prefer hotels away from the hustle and bustle of the City, others prefer to stay right in the heart of the City. So the choice of a room depends a lot on your personal preferences. With that in mind, if you are the type of person happy to stay a metro ride away outside of the City, this is the perfect hotel, and the staff was terrific. If you let the hotel know in advance, they will pick you up from the airport via a shuttle or Uber, which is about a ten-minute ride. Upon arrival, check-in was swift, and there was a pool to relax by after sightseeing which is a rarity in Madrid. There is also the option of a breakfast buffet for 12 euros. Location Football fans can take a 20-25 min walk to the Metropolitano Stadium, home of Athletico Madrid. For sightseeing, you simply need to turn left outside of the hotel and head to the Canillejas Metro Station. From the machine, pick up 1 x 10 journey metro ticket. If you are a couple, you can share it with your other half and pass the card back to your other half. From the Canillejas Metro Station, take Line 5 straight to Gran Via. It's around a 25-minute journey with no changes. When you leave the Gran Via station, it brings you outside a Mcdonald's, and you are right in the heart of the City. There is an easy-to-use mobile app where you add your destination and current metro stop, and it gives you the route, so it's nice and easy to get around. Back in the hotel, there aren't too many restaurant options around, but the Restaurante Goterón offers a great fixed menu that can be found on its Facebook Page. There is also the option of Uber eats if you are too tired to go out and a few nearby shops to pick up late snacks. Once again, the staff were terrific and had a solution for any problem I had, from opening a bottle of wine for me to the option of paying 30 Euros for a 4pm late checkout as our flight was in the evening. Overall An affordable hotel that is a 25-minute metro ride into the City and has a pool to relax by with great staff and transport o and from the airport are just a few reasons why I would recommend this hotel and choose to stay in again should I return. Very convenient for the airport by cheap public transfer. Respected my wish for a quiet room (as far away from the lift as possible), clean room. Substantial breakfast with one thing other hotels outside the UK seldom have - a kettle in the breakfast restaurant. If you drink tea, you usually have to make do with 'hot' water from a receptacle which is part of the coffee machine. This water is never hot enough to make a cup of tea. So hats off to Ibis Alcala for having a real kettle for customers to use. Excellent.

This is a very nice hotel in an excellent area of Madrid. Safe, clean and close to various restaurants and businesses. The restaurant was great, and prices were decent. Room was spotless and the staff was helpful and friendly. Will stay again in the future.

The hotel room on the first floor has a small garden, which is very good! Very Spanish local specialty hotel, located in a residential area, the room offers free capsule coffee! The room is not big, the breakfast is good, but there is no hot food, it is quite good! The biggest missing this time was that the next day's shuttle bus had been booked at night, but in the morning it was actually said that there was no reservation! Affecting the follow-up itinerary, I had to take a taxi to the airport by myself. The shuttle pick-up needs to call the hotel to pick up people at the airport.

Rafaelhoteles Ventas is in a good location, close to the metro station (El Carmen). Hygiene is good, bed linen is changed daily. Breakfast is according to the ”buffet table” principle, but it is monotonous and with a small selection. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

You need your key card by the door to turn on lights. But otherwise was a good stay. Supplied shuttle to and from airport. WhatsApp in case you need to book shuttle is on the photo.
