"Positive side:
There's electric jug provided, even though no tea/coffee sachet there.
TV functions well.
Three mirrors including one in the bathroom.
There's a wardrobe but not enough space to hang the towels.
Got air conditioner n fan.
Negative side:
The room was quite small for triple.
The double and single bed were combined together😔.
The toilet was dirty especially the toilet bowl, there were stains everywhere ☹️.
Only two lamps in the room without bed lamp, one switch for them.
No lift... Luckily our room is only on the second floor."
"Best hotel in Melaka.. close to all places.. in front of the hotel there is a night market
Kindly Reminder..
1) if you drive a car please come before 4.30pm because the road in front of the hotel is closed from 5pm to 3am
2) there is no free parking available. you can park in the public parking next to the police station (in front of the hotel). normal price RM5 per entry and public holiday or school holiday price RM10 per entry"
"I stayed for 3D2N at Rm 323. For the price paid , I expected more from Casa Del Rio Melaka Hotel. Such as :
1. The lock for the sliding door to the balcony is faulty. I didn’t feel safe sleeping.
2. The shower glass door is mouldy, the moldy rubber gasket could be easily replaced.
3. While showering, the Floor trap was apparently choked, water level rose to almost my ankle.
4. Bathroom floor is not clean. Corner of wall is stained both on the floor & wall.
5. WC flush is also very slow in clearing the waste. Obviously there’s choke that’s not being cleared.
6. Window & Door not sound proof. I was awaken by the sound of the fire crackers , pyrotechnics. I couldn’t sleep.
It’s obvious housekeeping didn’t clean / sanitise thoroughly before giving green light for guest to check in.
I liked the fact that it’s located by the Malacca river. I appreciated that the maintenance swiftly cleared the choke in the shower area after I highlighted to front desk. I also liked that hotel provide shuttle to Dataran Palawan. I appreciate that hotel allowed us late check out in order for me to perform my prayer.
If I come to stay at Casa del Rio again, it is because of its location."

"The hotel room is clean, comfortable, and well-designed. It offers a cozy bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and modern amenities. A quiet atmosphere, effective air conditioning, and a spotless bathroom enhance comfort. Extras like blackout curtains, good lighting, and secure locks contribute to a safe, restful, and enjoyable stay."
"The Twin Room Suite on the 21st floor was very run down. The carpets were filthy and covered with stains everywhere and there was a lingering smell of vomit on the carpet in front of the sofa which I had to use pure essential Peppermint oil to counter. There was debris (insect dropping? See photo) on the sofa when we first checked into the room. The bathroom had a faint unpleasant odour and the shower stall door could not keep in water from so the bathroom floor was semi- flooded each time we took a shower. Hotel breakfast buffet is of decent quality and variety but the coffee is undrinkable. Bed was comfortable and bed linens clean.
I think the responses by the hotel's ”MarCom” or purported service recovery team appears to be AI generated as the complaints I now read online stretch way back with similar adverse feedback but nothing seems rectified despite platitudes and assurances to do better.
Location is however top notch and if you are not a stickler for hygiene then the Hatten Hotel may be OK for you."
"This hotel location is very good and easy to access to famous Melaka food like chicken rice and satay celup. Unfortunately the hotel is quite old and many things in the hotel room is broken and not replace. Besidea that there are charges for everything if u need extra like towel, Pillow , mineral water… I think this is very sad coz most of the hotel did not do such things … I can understand if they gave 2 pillows then is alright to charge the 3rd pillow but it seem that the hotel only provide 1 pillow instead of two pillow. Remember to bring extra pillow if u want to stay in this hotel ya."
"Stayed here for 2 nights from Monday to Wednesday and we won't be staying here again. Parking space was extremely limited. The ratio to the rooms were completely off. Less than 20 lots available in a hotel with so many rooms and we had to park in the streets. Noise insulation was extremely poor. We stayed in the corner balcony room at the end of the long corridor but we could hear the big groups talking loudly as they took photos at the photo wall. Staffs doing maintenance work in the morning were talking loudly in the morning outside our room, banging doors and slamming things. Other noise include dragging the chairs, foot steps in the room above ours, the renovation noise in the carpark in the morning, motorbikes at night and in the early morning. The room was also dusty and there was a layer of dust on the TV screen and on surfaces. Towels were old, grey in colour from years of using and should have been changed. Toiletries like body wash, shampoo and conditioner was only enough for one person that we ended up buying our own. It is a beautiful hotel but at $170 a night with breakfast, I'll choose to stay at Liu Men which is much better in value, quieter and has ample parking space."
"The hotel's location is excellent, situated right next to the main road. The surrounding area offers a variety of pleasant and affordable dining options.
Additionally, the hotel is within walking distance to the riverside, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the water's edge. The scenic views of the historic shop houses make for a therapeutic and picturesque experience."
"Things I like:
Cleanliness: 10/10
1-night stay experience: Very pleasant and comfortable.
Service: 10/10
Things I feel could be improved:
The Smart TV should be mounted on the wall.
Reason: I stayed with three children aged 3 and below. The TV is too low, and they kept touching the screen. I had to watch them 24/7 to make sure they didn’t touch it.
Hopefully, the owner can provide a microwave instead of a stove.
Reason: It would be easier to reheat food.
The house needs a place to hang wet clothes near the washing machine or balcony area (same level as chair and table).
Reason: It would be convenient for guests to hang their wet clothes.
It would be great if the owner could provide plastic plates and cups.
Reason: They are easier to handle and reduce the risk of breakage.
The Smart TV is quite laggy and slow to respond.
Suggestion: Consider upgrading it (not a top priority).
There should be at least one mirror inside the room.
Reason: It would be especially helpful for women.
overall 10/10 . will recommended to others and thanks a lot"

Amazing
AAnonymous UserBeautiful staycation. Have been wanted to try this classic and the oldest hotel in Malacca for so long and my husband decided to stay here for me and my son’s birthday this year. Very good location literally 5 minutes away from all the attractions, 5 minutes to Jonker Walk & museums. The services also very impressive. They provided small yummy chocolate cake and deco for our birthdays inside the room. My husband also got assisted with his wheelchair as he was just one week post op. Breakfast were ala carte style but you can have unlimited orders. Malacca curry noodles was yummy! Swim pool also simple but super nice my kids love it. The room deco was classic and everything was perfect! Had a great staycation here and even recommended it to our family members. Thank you Majestic Malacca for our beautiful family staycation 😊

GGuest UserSecurity and hotel staff are very polite and all smiles so great work on that. Hotel room seems to be cleaned in a rush. Decoration and hotel room layout is modern and up to date. Location requires driving/Grab. Tried the courtyard lunch buffet and food was disgusting, prawns were not fresh, the minced chicken at the noodle soup station was also not fresh, selection was extremely limited, drinks were tasteless, there was a huge fly flying around and landing on the flan. Ala carte pizza was thin crust and the taste was worst than frozen pizza. Service in the restaurant was slow too.
Overall it’s a nice place to stay but don’t try the food there.

MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiI recently had the pleasure of staying at OYO 90899 Tube Hotel Melaka and the experience surpassed all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a truly memorable stay.
The check-in process was seamless, with the staff demonstrating exceptional hospitality and efficiency. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was evident, from the elegant lobby adorned with tasteful decorations to the well-appointed rooms that exuded both comfort and style.
Speaking of rooms, mine was a haven of tranquility. The furnishings were modern and plush, creating a cozy ambiance that made it difficult to leave. The bed was a highlight, offering a heavenly night's sleep with its luxurious linens and a selection of pillows that catered to personal preferences.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The fitness center boasted state-of-the-art equipment, and the spa provided a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
Dining was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. The chefs' commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish. The breakfast buffet was a standout, offering a wide array of options to suit every palate.
The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Requests were handled promptly and with a genuine smile, adding a personal touch that made me feel like a valued guest.
The location of the hotel was also ideal, situated in close proximity to popular attractions, dining options, and shopping districts. Whether I was exploring the city or simply strolling through the nearby parks, everything was conveniently within reach.
In conclusion, my stay at [Hotel Name] was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, top-notch amenities, and outstanding service created a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a refined and indulgent getaway. I look forward to returning to [Hotel Name] in the future for another unforgettable stay.
YYKSee90I recently stayed at Hotel Tamara Melaka for 3 days and 2 nights. While the hotel looked new, clean, and modern from the outside and the lobby area was quite stylish and spacious. Unfortunately, my stay didn’t go entirely smoothly.
🚪 Check-In & First Impressions
The check-in process was fine, and the hotel interior looked polished, with a clean reception area and bright decor. The staff were polite and attentive, which I appreciated.
🚽 The Main Issue: Toilet Smell
However, the biggest issue during my stay was the unpleasant smell coming from the toilet in our initial room. I reported it to the front desk, and they quickly sent housekeeping to clean it thoroughly, which I appreciated. Sadly, even after cleaning, the smell returned later that evening when we came back from dinner.
We requested a room change, but the hotel was fully booked that night. The only available option was a twin bed room, which wasn’t ideal, but we had no choice as the toilet smell was really unbearable. Thankfully, the second room was much better. Clean, no odor, and everything worked as expected. I’m glad the hotel team managed to accommodate our request despite being full.
👍 What I Liked:
• Beautiful, modern lobby and common areas
• Quick response from staff when I raised the issue
• Second room was clean and comfortable
• Nice touches like bright flowers and a decorative trishaw in the lobby
👎 What Could Be Improved:
• First room had serious plumbing/sanitation issues
• It took a room change to solve the problem
• Twin bed instead of a king, not ideal, but understandable due to availability
⭐ Final Thoughts:
Overall, this was not the most pleasant hotel stay due to the room issue. However, I do give credit to the staff for trying their best to help. If maintenance improves and the rooms are better checked before guests arrive, the hotel has good potential.
Rating: 6.5/10
I might consider staying again, but only if I’m assured of a properly maintained room.

NNurshairahCheck in was smooth.
Room has many things need done after check in. For eg. 1 room has no remote control, no mosquito control, fridge is emitting heat instead of cold air, entrance door got difficulty to push open, room w queen bed (bidet is leaking water when turn on). Maintenence is prompt thankfully, so no complain. Except didn't got chance to inform of the leaking bidet.
Aircon was ok. Not so hot, not so cold. But the cold air don't travel throughout the room, only at specific area.
Breakfast at 8am was so so. Not much variety. Family was looking forward to half boiled egg, but by the time, they want, its gone. The topping up is not haste, in general. Not sure, if it is due to manpower. Nasi lemak not enough lemak. Mee tai bak was bland, curry tasted slight diluted. The rest was ok. The coffee machine drinks are excellent, even tho there is 2 machine, the waiting for the drink takes awhile. Which is understable.
Check out was smooth.
If I'm given a choice to come back. Only for the room as there is privacy. And it's convenient for my mil as she is wheelchaired. As the room is near the lift. Breakfast no.
LLilyDear Eco Tree Hotel Team,
I stayed at your hotel from 27 June to 28 June, and I want to say thank you for the great experience.
When I first arrived, the room was not very cold, but your helpful and friendly staff came quickly to assist and solved the problem for us. I really appreciate the fast and excellent service.
The room was clean, comfortable, and the location is very convenient. All your staff were polite, professional, and always ready to help with a smile.
I will definitely recommend Eco Tree Hotel to my friends, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.
Thank you again for the warm hospitality!
Best regards,
Lily
GGuest UserThe hotel has provided the facilities as committed in their booking-page in the acceptable condition to their customer, i.e. me. Despite it is a budget hotel only and the overall appearance is slightly vintage :D, the room, the bed/mattress/blanket, bathroom, showering water heater, etc. are still clean and in acceptable condition. Besides, if communicated/spoken to the hotel, it has self check-in option for the check-in after business operation hour, i.e. mid night. Travelers can acquire the room key/card by themselves from a locker with a provided pin code. These enable me to have a good rest after making an urgent booking in night time, travel over 100km then reach the hotel at 1.30 a.m. mid night. The attached photos show the self check-in/out facility, public drinking-water-dispenser and fire extinguisher.
Although I can't expect much from a budget, I would like to suggest that the air-con in the room to have service/maintenance so that it won't produce much noise. By the way, the noise only distract us slightly from having rest.
After all, based on the offered/discounted price, the room is satisfactory and recommended.
