Dionisos Hotel

The hotel itself is pretty good, clean with tasty food offered. Very nice and extremely friendly staff. Special thanks to the manager Christina, without her efforts our stay would’ve been totally ruined because of trip.com’s partial incompetence. The description was incorrect: 1. “Adults only” says the name, which, in fact, isn’t at all. There were couple of incidents with some children staying at Dionyssos in addition to the crying baby on our floor. 2. Trip.com failed to pass my request regarding the view, according to the first room we were offered and the hotel’s manager. The room was with no view, as you can see in the picture. 3. Pictures! For some reason the description contained exterior photos from a different hotel! Which was found out only after checking in. 🤦🏼♀️ In reality the small pool is not secluded, every passing by stranger can observe you, as the see-through-fence is the only separation between you and the road next to the hotel.

We stayed here for 14 nights and had the most amazing time. The family who run the hotel are really friendly and welcoming and make sure that you have a good time. All the staff are great and very helpful. They all work so hard to make sure that your stay is enjoyable. The room we had was very modern and comfortable. It was kept very clean, as was the whole hotel and Pool area. The air conditioning was very good and kept the room really cool. Although the hotel is situated in the busy part of Malia the rooms were very quiet. The food was made fresh daily and was of an excellent quality. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals. The Beef, Moussaka, and the Stuffed Tomatoes and home made Vanilla Cake, to name a few, were excellent. We did not make breakfast very often, but when we did there was plenty of choice to suit everyone. Although in the busier part, a short walk takes you to the Old Town which has several restaurants and bars for those wanting a quieter night out. The hotel is a good centre for people wanting to explore the area as a short walk takes you to the main bus route and taxi rank. We will definitely be returning to this hotel and are looking forward to meeting up with the family and enjoying their hospitality, and of course enjoying the food again. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The food is rally good with variousand local prodacts. Traditional cuisine. Very nice and kind staff. Clean and confortable rooms. We raelly enjoyed sleeping.Perfect and quiet location. We are already planning our return.

We stayed there with my wife and had the time of our lives. The staff is very friendly everytime willing to Help and makes you feel Like Home also the food is perfect! Finally, The room was Always Clean,rennovated and quiet!

Everything was very nice, the staff was friendly and always willing to help, especially the reception! The room was renovated, clean, with air conditioning and with a very nice view, the spaces were all modern and very neat, the pools were very beautiful and always clean, with some of them even being private! The food was delicious the Breakfast and the Dinner with a wide variety of options for all tastes. Finally, the hotel is located in the center of Malia, close to all the shops, clubs and the beach, so it is a good choice if you are young, but also if you want to stay with your family since the rooms have very good soundproofing and nothing can be heard from outside! There is also security at night who supervises the whole hotel so there is no danger! I highly recommend this hotel and will go again for sure.

room was way nicer than expected. cleaners clean the room spotlessly everyday and all of the staff here are extremely welcoming and friendly. the environment here is overall very comforting, would recommend dionisos to everyone!

Very disappointed upon arrival to discover half of the images shown off the hotel are extremely out of date and no longer exist such at the pool table. The Jacuzzi listed in hotel accessories is also completely abandoned adding to the disappointment. The hotel did the job overall however the security were extremely strict and did not even let my friend go to our room to get some stuff from my room. Would not recommend for anyone going to Malia for the party experience.
