The Village Lodge

Hotel is in a prime location close to everything. I’ve stayed here in the past and have never had an issue. staff is great and if you need anything they will do the very best to accommodate or fix whatever issue you had. On this occasion I had Three situations that did not allow me to give it 5 stars. One, top of the refrigerator and armoire was very dusty as if it had not been cleaned in a while. Why did I look Well because I wanted To put something on top of fridge and was too dusty. Two, room was not cleaned on my second night, I did Call to request extra towels since ours were dirty and they delivered within 5 min ( that was great). Lastly, the day of check out at 8:30 housekeeping came knocking to our door asking us what time we were leaving. Uhm isn’t check out at 11? Why would someone come asking what time we were leaving. My husband responded well check out is at 11 so we are leaving at 11. I personally Don’t feel they should ask, I see If she knocks if she wants to see if we are still there or not but don’t ask what time we are leaving.

Debris between toaster and backsplash. Shower curtain liner had mildew. Shower grout was not clean. Broken coffee pot lid. Very loud outside crowd noise in the evenings. Foldout couch virtually unsleepable. Bed in bedroom old and uncomfortable. Only one poorly placed elevator per each cluster of rental units. No notice that if you exited through the stairwell, the door closes behind you with no re-entry.

The Village Lodge at Mammoth Mountain provides a awesome retreat, boasting cleanliness, safety, and an outstanding location. This was our 4th time. The fireplace enhances the cozy ambiance, while the ability to walk around easily adds to the convenience. Although the price point is on the higher side, the overall experience justifies the cost, making it a worthwhile stay. The staff, with a standout performance by Andrian, leaves a lasting impression, offering exceptional service both before and upon arrival. Additionally, the lodge's amenities contribute to a well-rounded experience. The excellent hot tub and pool facilities provide a relaxing way to unwind, adding to the overall enjoyment of the stay. However, it's worth noting that the gym facilities are minimal, which might be a consideration for those seeking a more comprehensive fitness offering during their stay.

We had a very nice stay. There were a couple issues with cleanliness. We found underwear near the dresser and a you under the living room Stand near the tv/lounge chair. The location was fantastic and the room overall was nice. We told the front desk after the second night of a week stay that we needed a feather free room and the mattress was sagging and very soft and uncomfortable. Before we returned from the mountain that had all been fixed. I loved the full kitchen. Nice bathroom and beautiful view.

Great resort! Super convenient to the village and gondola! The room was spacious and had everything!! The staff was incredible! Highly recommended!!

Stayed for a ski vacation. So convenient to the gondola and mid week there were no crowds. Loved it!

This hotel is amazing! From check in to the lush surroundings we are in love with this place. The rooms are spacious and we were so grateful to receive an upgrade. The grounds are beautiful and location can’t be beat! After travelling around the world this hotel is one of our most favourite we’ve stayed. The apartments give you the option to cook and eat in your room. Lots of food nearby - we even went to a cheaper grocers 20 mins walk to stock up and make breakfast. The village shops are so cute! The coffee provided is very good and hot tubs are outstanding. You won’t regret staying here - the snow is magical and this hotel is part of the magic.
