Went on football tournament at Easter 2024 but Hu was absolutely not ready and able to manage. Food was uneatable. Found ants in our bed. No privacy in the so-called bungalows. Arranged by Eurosporting, but no possibility to complain on their website. Why organize an event with 2000 people if you are not capable or prepared. Worst camping experience ever.

A great camping that me and my family really enjoyed a lot! It’s big and everything is present that you need to have a great stay. Nice cabins, beautiful pools, great entertainment, Great service and nice people! The restaurants can be improved food wise but that’s it. We would go back in a heartbeat!

An amazing holiday park. I have just come back from 2 wks there with my family (12yr old twins) and we all loved it there. We booked with Eurocamp but there are so many different cabin providers. The pools were clean and amazing. The kids loved the slides. The pool bars were awesome and served fabulous pizzas and cold drinks. The market on site was expensive but well stocked with all the essentials. We had a bbq with our cabin which was gas fired and perfect for a few meals. The on site restaurant was also excellent. We ate there a few times. The area is wonderful to explore. We hired a car for the two weeks and found some amazing villages nearby for dinner and lunches. Close to Pisa, Siena, Florence and San Gimignano for day trips. Book to see Pisa though as it gets booked up! I would definitely recommend this place to stay. Great place to use as a base for exploring. The kids hired bikes for 2 weeks for £70 which I thought was reasonable. Loads to do in the evenings - high ropes, nets in the air, mini golf, live music, market stalls some evenings with local traders, giant chess, kids club. Only negative is the beds…. In the cabin, they were not comfortable at all. And very small!! We will go back I am sure - one day.

We spent 9 days at Park Albatros in a Eurocamp Azure cabin. The pros: - so many pools to choose from with a good range of age group appropriate areas. - the lifeguards are on it! Constantly blowing their whistles to keep people in order - lane swimming is in the Olympic pool from 8-10 (there are no lane ropes, pick your spot and try to stick to it - my tip, get there at 8! It gets busy quick, it’s well worth the early start) - plenty of sun beds to choose from, it fills up by 11 ish so no mad panic to get down to the pools early - lots of fun pool activities - aerobics, water polo, games etc (our kids did water polo every day and loved it) - go karts are great fun to hire, be aware of cars / electric buggies though as they share the roads - arcades were great. We went during the afternoons when is was quieter - evenings are super busy - we felt safe giving ours kids a bit more independence here - supermarket well stocked with everything you need (it shuts between 1pm-4pm) - T-pop restaurant serves lovely food (they don’t always bring out the dishes together though) The cons: - B-eat takeaway place is unfortunately positioned in front of the toilets, which creates a smell you just don’t want to associate with eating - the Olympic pool gets unbelievably busy in the afternoon. The water clarity is suspect. With the amount of people everywhere, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the kids playing on their own after lunch. - the staff didn’t seem very happy, could’ve been my poor attempt at trying to speak Italian but it’s good to try :-/ - Eurocamp Azure cabins are small. We had a 6 berth for 4 of us and it was still a squash. The main bedroom isn’t big enough for 2 adults. The ‘sofa’ is hard plastic, the air con only works for the whole unit if you keep the bedroom doors open, which in turn lets the sunlight in, making it a very early start. With the doors shut the rooms are incredibly stuffy. We asked for a fan but there wasn’t enough room to plug it in without it being in our faces. The pillows are awful! You get one each and they’re so uncomfortable. If you need any extras you have to pay more. - Eurocamp check out: there is a 10 point cleaning checklist to work through if you don’t want to be charged (no idea what these charges are). This includes cleaning the toilet, shower, inside the fridge, all tables and chairs, floors to be swept and mopped etc etc….it’s not really the relaxing holiday experience to end on. No cleaning products are provided so you basically have to buy them and potentially leave them there or wipe everything down with a towel, which seems super unhygienic. The list implies Eurocamp are not doing any cleaning themselves. We had a great holiday but not a relaxing stay with Eurocamp and won’t book with them again sadly. Tip: If you can request where you stay, facing a road seems to give you the most amount of space / privacy. The centre of the park is absolutely packed full of cabins. The

Pretty resort, but huge. Nice accommodations. We had a glamping tent. Super cute. Clean. Enough facilities. But noisy. Its 100% quiet after 04:00. Before that time noise. Screaming youth coming from the disco every night which ends at 2:30. Security is lacking and I did not feel safe at night. If you book this camping DO NOT accept a spot near the pool, you want that distance for peace at night. Restaurant did not serve all orders at ones. There was an hour in between the meals that were ordered at our table so we did not eat together. One dish was send back 3 times and kept being cold. The pizza’s at the take away were good though. A boy at the pool got hurt and the life guards had no clue what to do. A doctor on holiday had to take action. The camping is very crowded and so are the Pools. Ive witnessed many unsafe situations and accidents. The beach is ok but the water was unsafe to swim (the camping placed warnings). We did our best to have fun these past weeks but the best memories I made in Italy were outside of this camp site. Hu is not for relaxing..

This is the best campsite we've stayed on. Its a very big campsite but manages not to feel to crowded. The pool area is the highlight ! Multiple pools, great fun for all...plenty of sunbeds and shade. Food in the main restaurant is good - you have to book in advance in high season. My kids (17, 14 & 11) loved the play area with the high wire, mini golf etc...nice playground for smaller kids as well. There is an evening market on site with local traders also setting up stall during the week...The supermarket was generally well stocked. Maybe its a small bit on the expensive side versus supermarkets in San Vincenzo but not noticeably so. Its very busy first thing and it takes a couple of days to get used to the ticketing system ! The deli in particular was excellent - they had a great selection of meats, salads and ready to eat meals.... the campsite is spotless as well and very well maintained We stayed with Eurocamp and we were very centrally located. I guess for some of the pitches further away you would need to hire a bike on site - good value if you are hiring for more than 1 week. We weren't driving but there is a shuttle bus in and out of S Vincenzo in the evening, S Vincenzo is a nice town with plenty of restaurants in the pedestrianised area and the marina. Defintely worth a visit. To get around the local area we used taxi which the information point will organise for you and if you want to travel further afield there is the rail network in S. Vincenzo. We went to Florence and Pisa - good value and reliable Beach nearby and you could cycle to ones as well...Baratti Bay and Populonia worth a visit...we also went to Elba with the campsite organised tour which was excellent ! Staff at the information point were most helpful. Any negatives ? Yes - the main reception was hopeless. Found the staff unhelpful but that's only a minor negative in what was otherwise a fantastic holliday.
