Green Hill Resort

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities met with my expectations. I would recommend it for a pleasant stay.

I have visited with family in Nov 2022. we booked 2 AC Family Room. Rooms Was Big Enough , It was clean , Washroom was clean. Hot water is not 24 Hrs , It’s available between 8.00 Am to 10.00 Am. If you have small children’s than you can face problem because of cold weather and hot water not available 24/7. Lunch & Dinner was good but they have limited variety. They serve both Veg and Non Veg. Breakfast have only 1 or 2 option , either you can opt for egg or any 1 veg item with tea or coffee. Swimming pool is not big and also it was not properly maintained. Location is main concern , it’s far from market. Specifically during night time you might face problem as street lights are not good enough . Overall if you have tight budget and need good place to stay than you can opt for Green hill.

Hotel very nice, room is good, room service also very good. Hotel staff very comparative. Food quality is average but not tasty.

Extremely pathetic experience .... The room, the staff everything here is bad.... The room smelled of dampness, there was not even a single towel in the room....there was no geyser, we had to get hot water via bucket....we paid more than 4x than what the listed price is, due to season... Extremely arrogant staff...... would not recommend any one.. .

I have made a booking with very good price but hotel's service is not good and they are more focusing on direct booking customers. Some of the facilities not given to us like welcome drink etc. And they said it is for limited customer.

Regarding location, this hotel i would not recommend if you are booking for a family. To go to this place from entry gate of matheran you can't go by train as it is not on the train route. Plus if you have luggage then you to go by hathgadi or by horse riding. Even in the night difficult to go there as it very far from the market and at isolated location. Regarding rooms and hygiene again very disappointing. Overall nothing good about this hotel

The rooms are dirty, damp and the washrooms have broken toilets. The front desk is extremely rude and the photos of the rooms on the website are not even remotely close to reality. We had initially booked three rooms. However, one of the rooms was so bad that we decided to adjust in two. The resort is in the middle of nowhere. It is an absolute no go for couples, children and older people. If you are a group of young people looking for cheap accommodation and do not mind the broken toilets and dirty rooms then you can give it a shot. The dinner was the inly positive in our one night stay. However, the breakfast next morning was quite ordinary as well.
